@@CoinHELPu For some series/dates (like the 1921 Peace) it is fair. Though for the majority of coins it lists, the Redbook is well over auction records and online sale prices. In many cases it exceeds auction records by 30% or more (even with 2021 prices).
When I go to sell I use the recent auctions on PCGS Coinfacts and Ebay as a reference. That is a much better guide for pricing than the Redbook IMO.

I made getting s set of 43's for the low low price you're talking about. But you'll notice after reading the sales literature, they are selling "reprocessed" coin. That's how come there are so many of the Zinc pennies around in mint state 65. they are fakes selling for $25-$30 a set. I'm finding a lot to companies selling 1 ounce "silver" coins for $18 an their add says they are .999 silver. That's the catch. People have caught on to the word "clad" and realize it's just plated. Hey for that matter, I could send you my Repossessed 1943 pennies in mint 65 condition and you'll find out they were misleading the customer. Please let everyone know.

The Mega Red 6th edition shows the MS-68 as $2000 rather than the MS-65. An honest mistake. The Red Book is relatively trouble-free compared to the Standard Catalog of World Coins - sometimes a whole series of coins have gone missing from the catalog so I always keep my older copy just in case!
