Metal Detecting at an old silver mine in a pile of drill core with Michael (OntarioRocks&Relics) with a Minelab Equinox 800. email: meminerrocks@gmail.com
Greig your videos are so smooth and relaxing and I'd like to thank you for your style 🤝. Now....beautiful finds and lucrative idea! That pile is waiting for your brain to give it a new life and homes! lol
I saw metal detecting and immediately was brought back to my daughters conversation on Father’s Day.. as she walked into her dads house. ,She found him with a metal detector on top of the bed. She ask him dad don’t you think he should be outside with that? Lol ..apparently he lost his necklace ..But I would take those core pieces and line a-flower bed ..lol looks pretty all shined ❤️☮️
Nice! And craft time was excellent. I thought they looked like the trim around a backsplash. I would use them to prop my carving tools up. Or my glasses🤷♀️.
Yes, true that. Also, I am surprised someone didn't keep the other half. A number of years ago, I found some long round core that hadn't been split and contained some great silver. My assumption is somebody on those made a mistake

Necklaces are difficult to find with most metal detectors unless they also have a pendant. I wish him luck
Hiya Greg, awesome video and those samples are beautiful when you cut them down the middle.
I hope you have a awesome blessed day.
Cya! 😺🐟 out!
Thanks! You too!
That last one you cut in half is beautiful. Would love to go to that site and rummage around .
Loved how you thought outside the box to make knife holders. Cool !!
Thanks much!

Great idea!
Very interesting. Good stuff!!!
Great to see you out and about! Also, lovin the beard!! :)
I am thinking about saving it. It got out of hand out of laziness. I have no idea how to take care of a beard, so I should probably remove it. ;-)
very cool :)
I love finding core samples, no matter what kind of mine it is.
I love them too. I have lots in my garden, which I thought were pretty. Not sure what to do with them all. lol
@@meMiner cut on a diagonal, they make pretty pendants .
Yep
Have you ever panned the drilling dust wash?
I do pan the stuff from the saw and keep the heavies for melting
It Help's To Get a Little Pay From Time To Time. 😎👍✌.

The split core has likely been split with half being assayed.

@@meMiner The other half was ground up for analysis.
