This is part #3 in the series of how to find Gold everytime and we show you more techniques that will guarantee you success in finding Gold every time when you go out into the field. This is a perfect example of what to look for especially on hillsides that feed into rivers or creeks. For part #1 in the series watch this video czcams.com/video/BgRmO93AMGM/video.html and make sure to smash that like button .....smash it HARD ! and let us know if you have better techniques. We would love to hear them. Thanks
Between you teaching the world the geology and myself teaching the world how to apply physics in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod in the world that precisely gauges and grades the sought element. In a couple of weeks our dowsing training CZcams channel : Tracy & Michael's Dowsing Adventure. Can't wait to show you whip panning that poor prospectors that could not afford mercury. Stay safe and healthy with having a good day.
Incomplete reply did not mention using gravity as the gauge and I found bullet lead in gold/quartz veins in Arizona that were done for discouraging any pospector from digging there. That may not be illegal, but it sure is immoral.
Jeff, that claim has those red worms on it too...when are you gettin back in your drift mine?
You need to do a video showing the technique for finding northeast gold, mostly from ancient glaciers
here soon

That Gold Nugget @10:39 is Huge! I understand why you blocked out that pan until you got down to the fine's. Awesome Information!
THIS video should be saved on your phone. It will pump you up !! I love how he tells you whats going to be there and why, then proves it and demonstrates it.
Been watching him since his beginning, never disappoints!
you need Big Boots of Gold to follow in Jeff ,s steps ! This man is a Bona Fide Gold Hound like no other !
Proves it and demonstrates it by salting it.
I did this and found big flakes of gold in a creek in the park by my house
Sunday morning GOLD FINDING lessons! C'MON, LETS GO!!!
awesome isnt it?
And yeah, you’re gonna get wet!
Just like when i was a kid sunday morning cartoons but now its Sunday morning Au starring Jeff Williams. Thanks you for sharing brother be safe out there 🙏
you betcha
I observed in life, after age 5 all we want from life, is to get back to the kindergarten. He made it.
I'm a stacker (not a miner) and have no designs on looking for gold - but subbed anyway. You're like the Steve Irwin of gold hunting lol. Great energy.
thanks
We Went to the San Gabriel river this past week and found 8 flakes and one little picker. All because of you jeff thank you🎉
Thats Great ...Congrats my brother
so, what did you get for it ?
This guy really knows his Schist.
I’m in! 👍🏻
I have found out in the past 5 years that if I find lead shot or bullets in an area where it looks like someone was digging or if a hunting camp was setup. To pan that area. Don't use a metal detector, but pan. 90% of the time I have found gold in those spots.
Old timers and some hunters that prospect will cover an area with shot pellets, spent casings, shot bullets into the ground to hide the gold they found from others that might be metal detecting.
Most metal detecting people will see the bullets or shot or the casings and walk by and not even detect the area or pan it because they think it is a target area.
So remember that if you are in an area and you find lead bullets in one particular area. Dig up the dirt and test it before moving on.
exactly or some use nails ....
@@Askjeffwilliams You're right, I have never seen nails way up in the mountains. But I have found where someone cut open a half of a box of shotgun shells and poured in on the ground. Almost walked away, but I remember this guy said @Askjeffwilliams if you see something that should belong there "Check it out" I did and I am glad I did.
Interesting. Or did something else more sinister happen like a Native American massacre?
@@Askjeffwilliamsin the back country a lot of the old timers had mined too much gold over 2 seasons than they could carry back to civilization. I'm itching to get my eyes on some 1890s cabins in the Yukon and look around some 'low spots' or soil depressions for buried dust they'd intended to come back for. (I think after 140 yrs its safe to say they aren't coming back for it)
I found an old cabin. At first I didn't see it,it wasn't until I climbed up a little higher and looked down and there it was.
I actually looking for an old Indian picture. My great grandfather had a map of the area. He explained to me what to look for. It took me 2 years, but I found the cabin and then the old mine shaft. And the 3 bogus graves that hid guns, gold, and clothes. No none of that was there now expect for old torn clothes. But the mine shaft is still in tacked. This spring I will be going back and spending the entire summer there.
I've never panned for gold but this video was super interesting.
that was really neat being able to see it. if i could move around i'd love to look around to see what i could find.
Thank you for the exceedingly informative video. I am retired and have always wanted to do metal detecting and gold panning. With you information I believe that I will start this year. I can't afford a metal detector but, I can at least do some panning. Again, thank you I will recommend your site/videos to everyone I know.
11:42 Man preforming Alchemy
Jeff, as you well know, gold is often found near lead. Gold is twice as heavy as lead but they're both pretty heavy.
I had a chance to go metal detecting near Rich Hill in Arizona one time. The field we worked was down below what used to be "Bordello Row". The men would get drunk at the saloons and would shoot there guns into the field. Sure enough, all I found were bullets.
Cool stuff , lots of great energy and no fluff 👍🏼. New sub 💪🏼
So glad to see that you can be that aggressive ! I would have wasted all my time trying to be super careful. That is probably one of the best things people could be told. I'm in central Pa and grew up trout fishing and always saw shiny flecks in the streams but assumed it couldn't be gold due to my location. I'm gonna buy a pan and check the local streams out just for fun.
You do that and let us know, man.
We don't have gold in PA?
Definitely great video
🎉🎉 full of energy this guy🎉🎉 Jack London would be proud of you
You definitely have gold fever🎉 I subbed just for your enthusiasm !❤
Thank you so much!!
Haha....Jeff Williams's enthusiasm is infectious! I can remember panning for gold in New Mexico when I was a kid. Coincidentally(?), I just watched Pale Rider the other night! :D
Thanks
These videos are fun to watch.
Definitely my favorite 😍
I love the fish line lol, found a hole in the wall along a creek and dug in it SO MANY baby fish started swimming around. And ther3 was also gold 😅
SO cool! Love your Energy & Funny Sayings. :) Thx.

Great video Sonny-Jim!
Im not a gold bug but I love learning stuff... I think more lessons about what to look for would be great. I really enjoyed this lesson.
Awesome, thank you!
Dunno if I ever said here but I have a property that gets the run offs from a place called mineral county In West Virginia. I have yet to investigate for any gold but I do have the equipment finally at the location. Jeff, this video answered a lot of questions and you answered my comments before I could writ ethem. Great video.
glad we could do that for you
It's great to see your enthusiasm while you're enjoying your prospects. I'm in Central Wyoming. If you ever make it over here, I'd love to spend some time prospecting with you.

@Askjeffwilliams you're welcome buddy. I'm learning and learnt so much
I appreciate the info.
Sure wish people would clean up their messes by putting the big rocks back where they found them though, after they tear up the creek bed!
Very good video I will always remember.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! That reminds me the "Doctor Amp" show from Twin Peaks. :)

God bless you. Love the videos you make. Im new to this world and Hope to do some prospecting this summer when I have time off work. :)
thanks and you to
Outstanding video Jeff. This is some good education….i need to get out!! Ya!!
Well said..jeff
You have to check them drawers for sure!!
Great video I have been telling people about wear the fish hold up is wear the gold lays for a long time.nice to hear you say it.
you betcha
The trout like to use low pressure zones to rest and or ambush. Hooked every trout ive ever caught so far in front of and behind boulders, and had five back to back hook sets casting across a river to a side feeding creek, undercut banks, etc.
All of which his 3D model video prove to be great deposition zones.
On another note, a great video about trout fishing thats as in depth knowledge wise as Jeff's vids are here is called "The Mind of a Trout" its a two part series that just has lots of really awesome information thats easily digestible and applicable/testable in the real world.
All the way down to hydrodynamics and how to use them to read a stream.
If you are in a stream where gold may be..where the fish are gold is for example and ive been mining panning for decades miss the days of the suction pumps and dredges before they were outlawed here in Commifornia
Where were you about 30 years ago with these tips when I was panning in AZ! Damn you make it look so damn simple.
Yea! Let’s goooooo!!
nice jeff wish i was there
So what are your thoughts on magnatite ?
1st time viewer and 1st time comment: I am two months away from my sixtieth birthday. I don't think I have ever felt this particular type of just down-right stupid in my life. When I was eight or so, my brother and I 'panned' for gold day and night for almost a week during a family vacation out west. We WERE in a location known for good panning. We had gotten our "equipment" at Walmart, the plastic bucket, shovel, and pan (with holes in the bottom of it). No wonder we didn't find anything. I guess mom and dad were as uneducated on the subject as my brother and I. It's either that or they didn't like us much. LOL
Great show 😁🤙
Thanks 👍
First class video friend you know your stuff and mostly please keep the great videos coming friend 🎉🎉😊from Scotland
thanks my brother from Scotland .....
We want to see more videos like that.
Awesome video Jeff! You remind me of me back in the 80's when I did a lot of prospecting in Virginia! I bought a backpack dredge and did pretty good, but a lot of physical work! LOL. I worked the hillside and gulleys, etc. Did a lot of sampling. Then I found a nice nugget for that area , about the half the size of a Dime. In a small tributary I located a nice Quartz vein. As I traced it in a hillside it kept getting wider and wider. I broke some off and sent to a lab to be assayed. It was 3/4 ounce per ton of Silver and a !/4 ounce of Gold per Ton. I still have the GPS coordinated for that vein. Is that valuable today? Later I became a Metal Detector Engineer (retired) but never went back there. Keep up the inspiring Videos Jeff.
wow thats pretty good ....great work tracing down the source my brother ...1/4 OPT is not bad but we always recommend 1 OPT to make it profitable to work on a small scale and pay well.
Thanks Jeff!@@Askjeffwilliams
Nice samples 💰
Thank you Jeff, for your valuable, and informative shares! Great watch!
Hey Jeff, I live about 10km away from a hard rock mine in Waverly, Nova Scotia (1880-1890s) The one side of the hill (American hill) is all mine tailings! When it gets a little warmer, I plan on going there and doing a little prospecting! (12.95 for a prospecting licence)
keep us posted
That was great!!!
THE PERFECT VIDEO ! SHORT AND CLEAR ! УДАЧИ!
Wow Great info Jeff !. I have 13.25 Acres Just north of the Chrysler proving grounds in Yucca, Az. Part of a mountain. Great info. Thanks. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
thanks and you betcha
I feel like I'm in the movie "National Treasure"..."one clue needs to the next, which leads to the next.." :)
I have access to these exact conditions in gootchland virginia
Amazing very good
Good job you rock
Thank you for this video! Taking my kid in California
Hey brother... You're so better than the news...!
and I approve this message
Good morning Jeff.
good morning
This is great content .
Really great tips on sampling for gold.
Lol i was thinking dang id use a screen. Looks like your up in my country.👌
Nice find. I think it's funny when people tell you how to pan. That's like telling Stradivarius how to play the violin.
Awesome!!!!!!! needed a refresher course. Forgot all about where to start and where to go. thanks JEFF!!!!!!
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
good morning SWM
Arizona snowman in the pan always helps! And ya your gonna get whowet!
I pull flake gold out of the cheery creek river running all the way through urban denver.
Pretty new to this rock hobby and i love it, take a load off my mind and relaxes me, but about a week ago did my reaserch and from the looks of it i have a very beautiful quarts rock, either mixed with some mica, but aslo from the bottom of the rock has someb schitz piece looks like shiny silver flakes, as well on the soft side of the quarts looks like it could be gold, maybe on the insde too, im not 100% sure yet but so fsr ive been very blessed i feel by mother nature and god, found this quart as well stumbke upon a real diamkn earning. Really small. Maube 2 carrets again not 100% sure amazing colors, when light hit its very bright with some beautiful colors as well reflcting on the dimanond
you can have it assay to find out
@@Askjeffwilliams i will definitely do that just haven't had the time, found it last Saturday, the quartz rock i found first then the little diamomd earring after, saw this shiny thing in between rocks and the lil boy inside my heart went coooool lol wiped the dirt off and looked like silver almost metallic flakes mixed it with the quartz soft smooth part but the inside looks like some gold or maybe the piece I found belonged to a bigger quarts rock, again I'm no expert as for me is listening to experts in the field as yourself. Just gain knowledge and wisdom and with time and experience I'll get better at it.
It inst that big it's maybe about 4 inches long and weighs about maybe less then 10 ounces, but it was my first rock, definitely holding on to that for long as I can, goodluck charm/ sentimental value, It lit a fire underneath my brain and it's all I wanna do now when I have free time, go fora long hike get lost for a bit and fimd some cool rare rocks, calms me down alot and comforts me, It's pretty damn cool too. and I've always loved nature, animals, the beauty of mother nature herself.
Thanks for your response as well, as I will definitely do that, new to your channel under recommended and it's going to help me out a lot, what rocks to look for what not, colors all that good stuff. New to this man new to the rock hounding community lol. I love it though already.
This is awesome. I can imagine an old west shootout over gold claims. Hard men in those time. Very exciting video.
Holy schist! Dude you always find something promising, you have honey holes everywhere! Good stuff man! thank you sir!
you betcha my brother
Nice,
Last time i flipped a boulder in a creek for panning a water moccasin was under it and it almost bit my hand. also you said gold sticks to clay. well 99% of our soil in NC is hard red clay
Your an awesome teacher!💯⚒️🇺🇲
thanks
Lol "that is a portal" & "look at that juicy vein they're chasing"
Yippee we’re all rich!!! Thanks bro.
Water is good!
Thanks for this info! At 6:52 how much would a jeweler pay for that? As well as 12:52?
Nothing like learning from older men with education, wisdom and experience. I noticed the leather gloves. How do you treat them to keep them from getting soaked?
they are made for water
Great video Jeff, lots of energy and extremely useful information. Thank you buddy all the way from rainy England
My God I've got gold fever sitting in my bed in Missouri. Thanks for the video
Our pleasure!
If a person is lucky they might find some galena or iron in these parts. It ain't as cool as gold but it's still pretty gool to find blue and brown chert with rust and iron in it.
Fun entertaining video 🤙
