Choose whatever makes you happy. Besides Mystic because Arcticuno has almost never been a very good pokemon, especially since Stealth Rocks. And don't pick Valor because Stealth Rocks. Pick Instinct because Zapdos is awesome, and has almost always been a really good pokemon.

THis happened to me to haha, luckily you can just download the apk from the actual site and play even if the built in store doesn't allow it. Just have to manually patch every time you want to update.

In other games, your hp bar or control indicator is usually green or blue, then allied units are usually yellow, and enemy units are usually red. It just feels natural to defend blue structures and attack red structures like in StarCraft.
I think the colours of the IKEA logo represent the swedish flag, not some psycological effect

My reason for choosing Team Instinct was because at the time my PE class was focusing on flag football. There were three colors, red, blue, and yellow. I was on the yellow team. The red and blue teams bragged about how they were team Valor and Mystic, while we were just named Instinct then moved on. Nobody was hyped up on the yellow team, probably because of how unpopular Team Instinct was in the game. Because of that, when I finally got Pokemon Go a few years later, I was reminded of that memory and choose Instinct.
Now, Mystic has even more players than before thanks to the addition of team medallions that allow you to change teams for 1000 pokécoins. Since Mystic is the dominant team, people who initially chose Valor or Instinct will now change to Mystic because it's the most popular team and thus gives players in it an advantage over people in the other teams.

Whereas I was trying to think logically I realized that it is true Mystic's feature itself. Two days after that, all Jyms in my town were captured by team Instinct...Yellow domination still continues in my town...

My city is mainly Instinct, due to early adopters telling their friends and families "Join team Instinct!" But, there is still enough competition to make things interesting. The other two cites that are adjacent to mine have a similar balance, but with the other teams. The city in the middle is made of equal portions due to this.
