Broken Bonds definitely has some intense spice scenes in books 3&4&5. Like INTENSE! Probably Hot/Fire scenes.

Thanks for doing this video! It will help this mood reader decide when I want to read some of these. I was surprised at a couple of the ratings (on books I have not read) because I got the impression at some point that they had different spice levels (S&D, for example, I thought was supposed to be more medium spice... and I didn't realize ZA would rate so high).
I agree totally with putting ACOSF in the fire level! A couple of those scenes are 0.0
For me, ACOTAR trilogy is king. I am not one to usually reread a book, but I have reread that trilogy four times, and I only just read it for the first time last summer (2021). The first two reads were back-to-back... I just didn't want to leave the world! It may be a yearly reread for me.
FBAA would be second on my top Fantasy Romance list, and I will definitely be rereading at least once before the next book comes out.
Ahhh I can totally relate! As soon as I finished ACOTAR for the first time I refused to leave the world and reread the series a second time! 😅 I read A LOT of fantasy romance and nothing has come close to the love I feel for ACOTAR 💕 (well…maybe FBAA lol)
I hated the second book of Serpent & Dove too 😭 wish they made it a stand-alone but the third one was pretty redeeming
A friend of mine just suggested your channel to me because she knows I'm a huge fan of Sci-Fi/Fantasy books. But I also love them when they are kinda funny. Like Shelly Laurenston or Alanea Alder. So many favs here! I thought the second never king book was even spicer than the first. And my fav spicy series is the Dark Fae series, the later books were even spicer than zodiac academy!

I’m a bit confused on some of your rankings for instance you said crescent city was not spicy at all then put in medium. Could you offer some clarification on this discrepancy,
I just rewatched this and I definitely didn’t do a great job explaining that decision - sorry!! 😓 I put it in medium because the second book does have a lot more spicer content than the first book (and the first book does have explicit scenes - just not as much as her other books) so I would consider HOEAB (CC1 - Mild) and HOSAB (CC2 - hot) so I ranked the overall series as medium.
Looking back - I probably should have just separated all the books from series and ranked them all separately 😅

A few kisses, a couple of C words, and one solitary scene of interrupted hand play. That’s it in totality over 800 pages. I was so PO’d that this book was marketed as adult. I refuse to read the second book. I just know that SJM is going to pull that YA coitus interruptus bs again. There’s not enough time in my life for that kind of long-winded teasing. 😁
