Funny how most of us stress about this like we were getting a divorce.
It's 12:00 AM and my letter is complete. Have been wanting to quit for a while now but never had the guts to straight out say it. The letter on hand solidifies my intentions and makes it simpler to express.

I been planning this resignation for 1yr. It’s hard when your company started small and now it’s huge and all broken . Best advice I got was that no one will look out for you than you . Life is too short to be unhappy . No matter how much they pay you . 🙏🏻

Great tips! You never want to be unprofessional. You never want to leave a company in a bind and you also don’t want to stay longer at a job longer than you want or need to.
Yes, I totally agree. I really like that you mentioned not to stay longer in a position than you need or want to. It's easy to get stuck in job you don't LOVE. Thanks for watching.
What if you don't care about the company because they don't uphold the values they claim to, mistreat the public and its staff? You have to look out for yourself.
Why not leave them in a bind? When it’s time for you to get booted, they do not care about your bind.
This is more for yourself not the company you work for. Be the professional one standing and allow them to have the ugly face of the company. Believe me it will catch up with them eventually. @@YapperU

I’m putting mine in on the 30th right after I’m using all my sick days and still have 40 hours of pto. They’ve scheduled so much stuff for 2020 but unfortunately I won’t be there to help. Oh well

The work expected is too much, I trained 2 department managers, 5 other associates and often do my department managers jobs for them, yet they refuse to make me a manager or even give me a raise. I have given a months notice on a few job departures. If possible, I think this is a wise move. In one job interview/offering, I told the new employer I wished to give a months notice to my current employer. I think this help secure the new position as I was looked upon as considerate, and not likely to ever leave them abruptly.

Putting my 2 week notice in today. My job scheduled me 0 hours next week because I wasn’t comfortable covering a hard duty shift (I have a work related injury) that was scheduled for someone who quit. Keep in mind there’s other employees trained in this department. They’ve been having me do stocking, facing and recovering which didn’t really align with my doctors note requirements (pushing and pulling 5+ pounds, repetitive movement, lifting over head). I’m just so over it. I’d rather be jobless than get 0-5 hours when they don’t like me for the week

I need to write a letter of demotion. I have to justify my request but I don't know how without exposing my supervisor. She's a super star in their eyes and I am the newbie. I don't like evaluated for a job that I have not given a full opportunity to do bc she's had me handle so many other tasks. She verbally agrees but omits in her evals. I've gotten to a point that I HATE going to work. Not like me at all.
