Thank you for this video I’m far too early but planning on quitting my first job on December 16th and not sure how to write a resignation I’m just looking for tips early and consider giving 3 weeks notice just so my manager isn’t blindsided by me handing in my resignation at that 2 week notice time! After 21 years at the same job with several employers, the company has been bought or merged 5 times and is once again on the auction block, I hate my employer so much I'd really have to bite my lip to be polite in a resignation letter.
I like the job itself but the stress levels are actually affecting my health.

Sometimes it's hard to be polite, but it's the professional thing to do. You don't want to burn any bridges just in case your future employer knows your current employer.

Usually it’s ok to do that, but check your employment contract just to be sure.

You don't need to give a reason, unless you really want to. Whatever you say, keep it very general, and never say anything negative.

What about including your managers name and what position they have and also the name of the company, the address and all that general information?

You include your manager's name in the greeting, like in any email or letter. No need to include your manager's position, just yours, if you are writing an email. If you are writing a letter, and not an email, then you would include the general information, such as the manager's name and title, company name and address, etc.
