It’s 3am and the stress of my job has me unable to sleep. I cannot go on any longer. I’ve made a definitive decision to resign and this is the first time in my career. I will leave with class and dignity. The uncertainty of life stresses me out less than this job. Thank you.

Some companies may also not want you staying around for 2 weeks if they think you are going over to a competitor. Be prepared that the day you give them your resignation letter may also be your last day and that you may be locked out from accessing company computer networks or even your company issued phone.

Yes! Very good point. Some companies will want you to leave once you've given your resignation. Hopefully, though, you have a good relationship with them and it won't' be an issue. Thanks for watching!

Hi, I've been under investigation for a few days and also suspended from work for suspected call avoidance. I was told I'd be invited to a disciplinary by now, but that hasn't happened. This is a poorly paid remote call center job for an outsourcing company, but it's stressing me out badly. I now want to send in my notice and hope they let me leave the day after, just for my peace of mind because this period has been very stressful.

Brother...you almost described my exact situation even tho I have been given the date for my disciplinary hearing.
How did things pan out by the way? Any advice?

@@chefwhitneynothouston8124 The hearing never happened. I handed in my notice at the end of May and they let me exit straightaway. But that was a really shitty job with a really shitty company, so I knew sooner or later I would need to leave. I would advise you to resign also, but since you've been given a date for disciplinary I'm not sure they'll let you walk just like that; they might though, it depends.

Thanks for sharing Dana! I get ya! It's knowing that you're letting them down if you leave. Remember, at the end of the day, you need to do what's best for you and your career. :)

Thank you Professor Austin! I have followed this template before and I am following it again because it was helpful in the past. The hardest part of resigning is feeling like I didn't complete something and feeling like I might be letting go of an opportunity.💖

There are some circumstances where employee(s) were treated like less than a dog. So the happy ending is not always possible Unless a person has been bullied or mobbed at work they will NEVER understand. Some people have no choice but to leave with short notice or no notice at all. All facts. Employers burn bridges when they mistreat their employees.
