Jollibee came to be with the KIDS in mind. The food is on the sweet side because of the KIDS. So you see, almost all grown ups now have their fondest memories celebrating their birthdays at Jollibee.

Pinoys love them sweet Spaghetti, it's a common to be a part in the menu in many Fastfood outlets throughout the country. Even McDonald's in the Philippines serves spaghetti, For Pinoys (Filipinos) rice is not considered as a separate dish/side dish, but it's part of the meal. That's why it comes with most meals. It's eaten along with every bite of the food.

It's inside the Mactan-Cebu Airport Terminal, not a mall. Well, yes, it's inside a domestic terminal. Jollibee has two branches inside domestic terminal one each at Arrival and Departure halls.

That Chicken and spaghetti combo you got is what we call in the Philippines as kids food. if a child is in a bad mood the parents usually bring the kid to Jollibee and buy that combo. it makes the kid smile.

Unfortunately, the Jollibee back in the states were not as predictable as here. Some locations the food were good and others not so good. But here, in the Philippines every Jollibee I've been to serve the same consistency in food quality. It may also be that they have a fast turnaround here and food don't sit too along before someone buys them.

in the philippines, gravy is treated almost like a soup.... should have gotten the yumburger with cheese though... or the try the more premium ones like "the champ" burger or the "aloha"... the spaghetti originally was designed as a childrens dish hence its on the sweet side, which is a characteristic of Filipino style spaghetti, some foreigners though does not like it because wrong expectations. what you should try is the "pancit palabok" a seafood pancit with special orange sauce or its dry version the "pancit malabon"

That is true, I've live in California for years as well as Arizona and the food in their Jollibees are not as good (Greasy and cold). Here in the Philippines the consistency in quality is clear, every Jollibees that I have gone to always serve hot and perfect food, not greasy or cold or mushy. But then again, the food never stays long enough on the shelf.

Lechon is not fried but roasted. The whole pig carcass is roasted over hot coals for up to 4 hours. Cebu's lechon has its own unique flavor that it stands out from all other lechons in the country and even in the whole world with no less than the late celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain, declared it as the world's Best Lechon. But there are two home origins to Cebu's best lechon and they're found in Talisay City and Carcar City. The lechon chains in Cebu City are recent development since 1990s. But the traditional origins of Cebu's best lechons for decades are Talisay City and Carcar City. Talisay is a border city south of Cebu City while Carcar City is 40 kilometers further south. I suggest you visit both cities and sample their lechons. Starting off with Talisay City as it's close to Cebu City. Visit Talisay City's Lechon Food Park which is open daily from early morning till early evening. The head south to Carcar City and visit their Public Market where there's a dedicated area for all lechon vendors.
