I love ❤️ congee lol it is a rice porridge literally Put the rice in a pot with the chicken stock and bring to boil. Give the rice a good stir, scraping the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking, then lower the heat and half-cover the pan. Simmer gently for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes, until the grains have burst open and you have a thick congee. Keep an eye on the pot to make sure the rice doesn’t stick to the bottom. Toward the end of cooking, when the stock has become integrated with the rice and is the consistency of oatmeal, season lightly with salt to taste.

Serve the congee with a sprinkling of soy sauce, spring onion and ginger and a few drops of sesame oil to taste

Hey Jessica one humble suggestion or request whatever you wanna say is when you are coming to India please do not start from a big city like delhi mumbai or kolkata specially delhi and kolkata mumbai is still fine if you have to have start from a big city in India. As you guys are used to less crowd in your countries and being myself from North India I will suggest you guys to start from south india like fron a city called kochi which will be easy on your senses and food of south India will be easy on your stomach and prepare for north kndian food as well then after spending a week or two as your schedule permits you can move to north india. Hope it helps. Here are few suggestions in south though a indian from south can give you more better locations but here are few kochi, hampi, varkala, sri rangnatha swami temple in sri rangam tamilnadu, sri lakshami narayani golden temple in vellore tamilnadu one thing you guys must do is watch the dance performance of local dance forms in every state of india as their are different dance forms in different states as you both are dancers as well two few dance forms you must watch are kathakali, bharatnatyam, kathak and odissi. Puppet dance shows in udaipur will be awesome for lottle alfonso. One last thing is the golden triangle of delhi to agra to jaipur is very much overated, i would say jaipur is still worth the visit. Best wishes for travel to Philippines and India one last thing is please upload a video on your channel few days before you visit a city in india so that if there are your followers from that city they can help you.
