2 Red Bulls, 2 Ferraris, 2 McLarens, 2 Aston Martins means Mercedes expected best is 9th and that is exactly what they are getting from a driver that has been sadly let down by a team who have failed to listen to him, support him or deliver a car they promised. What a great call from Hamilton to leave them. Russel will follow soon as the penny drops on him that this team is going backwards.

Still not understanding why Merc went with this strategy; For such a team they are horrible in strategy the past years. It shows they lost key figures.

Mercedes is lacking in leadership, development and innovation. Those were Merc's three best trates that won them multiple Constructors Championships and it almost seams for the last three years that has gone out the window. Wolff has a failure to put the team in the best positions to possibly even be lucky. Thats a leadership failure. Russell lacks in giving the engineers the best info to make the car competitive, that a development failure. Without the first two, they can't innovate and thats a team failure. I think their best savings grace at this point is to develop a platform for 2026. They're done.

I agree, and I believe that this leadership failure is a direct result of Lauda’s passing away and Toto being left alone.

Time to replace Hamilton mid-season. He's underperforming miserably. Can't even match the pace of his teammate.
