The line "Kösem Sultana sends her regards" is placed to show the masive influence she achieved all those years and that she's the most powerful figure in the empire at the moment. The army and the people are as loyal to the Sultans as they are to Kösem.
But she destroyed the empire😢

Yes, after osman’s and mehmet’s death, she losted a part of herself, but not everything. But when she losted Murad, if we add Geverhan, she became a monster thirsty of power, even thougth she was really powerful, she wanted more and more. Finally she sealed the death of her own son, and she tried to kill her grandson and her daugther in law. Idk for yall, but honestly, i felt bad for her. I love Murats facial expression so convincing! What a talented young man
I guess that the comparison between kosem and hurrem should be judged according to their times. During hurrem's reign it was just an unimaginable thing that a sultan will have his own legal wife. But hurrem achieved it. Again it was also unimaginable that a woman will attend the royal court. But hurrem achieved it. Again in the time of kosem,it was already a normal thing for a sultan to have a legal wife or a woman to attend the royal court only because of hurrem while nurbanu of safiye sultan followed them. So kosem didn't have to fight a lot to achieve those as those were common things. But it was unimaginable at the time of kosem for a woman to rule an entire sultanate as a regent. But Kosem achieved it. Therefore I think that both kosem and hurrem were magnificent sultanas in comparison to there times. It is totally meaningless to debate about who is more powerful and bla bla bla.....

Watching all the people who had a hand in Osman's death get their comeuppance is so satisfying. The only thing I found sad was how long it took poor Mustafa to realize that something was really wrong with Halime. He was traumatized multiple times throughout his childhood which resulted in severe mental illness as an adult. He's one of the few characters I actually feel bad for. He never wanted the throne. He just wanted to be safe and not live in fear of being executed all the time.
exactly.. and if his mom and sister weren't so meddling and greedy for more power, he would've been fine, neither kosem and ahmed wanted him dead. they should've known after sultan mehmed died, mustafa's chance of becoming sultan was more narrow than ever. also, it was halime's own fault her first son died, in history and in this show. she ate way more than she could chew.

'Kosem sultan sends greetings' wow I loved Halime and Dilruba's end Well deserved...
She totally successful rid all the enemy... the formidable, influential, and arguably powerful Haseki and Valide Sultan( Empress Mother ) of Ottoman for three generation.
Totally agree!! Her and Hurrem sultan were the most powerful Empress Consorts !!!!!!! Sadly Hurrem died before reaching Empress mother 😔 but at least she opened the gateway for other women!!!! Even then Hurrem And Kosem were the only Powerful Empress Consorts cuz with the other sultanas the empress mother was alive/not exiled which limited their power so Kosem and Hurrem were very lucky !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love it😘
In the Ottoman tradition a free woman could not enter the harem so that Christian girls and boys were kidnapped in order to become slaves. Kosem Sultan was indeed the most powerful woman in the Ottoman history. It is us humans who write and tell the history sometimes different to the reality.
Anastasia was the daughter of a Greek priest possibly from the island of Kefalonia or from the island of Lesvos. Her father was told several times to scar Anastasia because of her beauty. It was a tradition in many Christian nations occupied by the Turks, to scar or make a tattoo on the face of their children in order to avoid kidnapping. Tattooing was a tradition for that reason among Greeks Armenians and Bosnians. In the end as we know she managed to rule the Ottoman empire. In the Vatican archives there are letters signed “Regina Anactacia” it is believed it is from her to the Pope. Also the secret garden in the palace was not a garden at all. After her death a secret church of St George was discovered in the palace. Kosem was practising Christianity. She was paying the taxes of the Greek people who could not pay and everyone knew that. The turkish public did not like Kosem at all, they were calling her a whore and other insults. This is why they built the Blue Mosque in order to control the public. She was powerful because she had the favour of the jennisaries and this why she managed to rule for a long time. Kosem was the most powerful woman in Ottoman history and for this reason there is a huge cover up of the reality in order the turkish public is not provoked.
Also i forget to say that during her reign they completed the list of the nations that could hold high posts in the goverment, guess what the turks were in the end of the list.
Love from Greece 💙
I am just speechless 😨
Christian hahahahahahahahah
Have you ever read the history? Whatever you are saying are just nonsense. First, ottoman never kidnapped girls from other nations (please read the history to validate it). Because the girls always want to get an education in palace of ottoman to have a chance to become a sultan. Who wouldn't want to be a sultan. Just imagine that you go to America get a good education and then become a first Lady. It is the same. Thus, the families were willingly giving their kids to ottoman empire to make sure they get a good education and position in ottoman empire. As i said please just read the history.
@@huseyinkose888 but in Kosam's and Hurrem's case, they both were kidnapped along with many other girls...
Were they an exception then??
The lannisters send their regards
Beren saat (kosem sultan) is very beautiful
This clip reminds of the Godfather movie, where Michael Corleone has all his father's enemies killed during the baptism of his sister's son.
