What I can't help but love about this is that, in the end, Hürrem was merely trying to unseat Mahidevran. That the position of the head of the harem could then be passed to her doesn't seem to have occurred to her. On the other hand, there's a reason why I cite this as one of Mahidevran's worst spirals as a character. It's also understandable that this would be her darkest hour as, not only has she failed under a major scandal, the alliances on which she relied upon are crumbling before her eyes.

The difference between Mahi and hurrem like why would mahidevran bow to ibrahim once she bore a prince the dynamics changes he has to bow and top of that he even said her shut up lol once hurrem had princess ibhrahim always bowed to her as customs till the end even when they had arguments and hurrem always acknowledged him and funny part like valide sultan said mahidevran relies on other brains and hurrem uses her own even the enemies take her side and when mahi said would ibrahim allow u to rule like gurlll the difference again when hurrem replies no one asks his permission she had all the chances because she had the eldest son yet she wasn’t strong candidate 😭😭😭I guess this is why mahidevran was liked by valide because she’s easily controlled or ibrahim could easily manipulate her and that’s why mustafa was his fav his means to be vizier twice because hurrem wouldn’t allow ibrahim with his manipulation near her sons and she liked bali bey and others instead of him
