G'day from Sydney Australia. I just received my Ming Shi 2000s "futur clone" (same as Q shave) yesterday and I'm loving it after just two shaves. I'm impressed with it so far!
Chris-greetings from Naperville, IL; thanks for reviewing the Qshave; on setting 6, I find this razor the most aggressive I own, including more than the R41 (YMMV). Like the Futur, hard to shave under the nose given the size of the head. I do find the handle is slick when wet and would love to see some knurling on the handle in any updated model. I just got one of these in black. I watched a video on here about fixing the possible blade alignment issues which seem to be common with these razors, however for the price, the razor and shave quality are certainly in the good to very good range.

Hi Chris, Dave from England here again. Another great video! I bought this razor as I was intrigued by it and it was dirt cheap! My other razors are the 34c, 6c, AS-D2, R89, De89, King C, Executive shaving Outlaw and Braveheart, an AS & CO world war 2 open comb and a Parker Variant. I was really impressed with how well this Q-shave razor shaved me. Really close with no nicks using a 2nd use Wilkinson sword blade (black box), setting 3. I haven't tried the Merkur Futur but as I said this copy was impressive! Take care mate & stay safe. Dave.

The Future is heavier, more steady, and the head stays in place nice and tight. The head on the Q Shave was not firmly in place and was apt to slant a bit, though it didn't seem to affect the shave. Also the Futur is just a tad more effecient.

I feal the same about the q shave, the head is too big, blade change and adjustment is not very safe, and to me was a bit aggressively. Hello from ISRAEL
Thessaloniki, Greece as well! I have the Qshave Adjustable in matte black and I don't think it's a bad razor either, but I really don't like the way the head opens and closes, I much prefer a 3 piece razor. -Cheers :)
