Only a massive win on a chance, only cuz wood is proven average in prem obviously less than price tag but a relegation side should worry about making that extra profit, werner was more proven in bundesliga and flopped goal wise jn the prem so there's a chance weghurst will flop in prem. Its been shown that bundesliga quality doesn't always translate to prem quality, only time will tell and I don't think burnley should be taking that risk

Diaz is clearly the best player who was signed but for Liverpools standards, he isn’t starting over Salah or Mane (and arguably jota due to current form). He’s a good signing but not a perfect cos he does not slot into the starting 11 which is my definition of a perfect signing

Faysal is right with his take on Betancur based on his recent performances in the last 2 years. But I can see conte bring back the 17/18 Betancur under allegri, conte has been able to change davinson making him the consistent defender in the prem, same as he done in the back line. I would put him in the average signing only due to his recency bias but ceiling is high if conte can bring the best out of him

For someone who watches Bentancur. He is an Uruguayan Granit Xhaka! Can spray some passes forwards, but is very reckless in tackling and have no clue where to stand on the pitch in defense. He is also very slow and not strong enough in his physique. The only good year I remember him had was under Sarri in 2020 when he played that Jorginho role.

We’re forgetting who mane is, the guy was the best lw in the world for 3 seasons. Of course his form isn’t great however he is detrimental in our system. He waits for the overlap so Robbo can wip a ball in and get an assist. Diaz drives at ppl and causes problems, he will be a good signing anyway

Nah, the side will evolve, Diaz is a more dribbly kind of player with Porto. The guy will come inside and act more like a playmaker for Liverpool I presume. Liverpool as a team will need to evolve and they got the proper pieces to do so.

Luiz Diaz goes to Chelsea his probably praising the Portuguese league and naming the star players that have come from there, but rates Alvarez even though City don't always get it right with recruitment because he's watched a couple of "segments". You can watch segments of Giroud and you would think he's the best striker of all time.

The reason why we bought Chris Wood is because Wilson just got injured for at least two months and our only other option was Gayle. We triggered his release clause 48 hours before our game against Watford. After our performance against Cambridge we needed a striker. It was between no striker (/Gayle) or overpaying for Wood. Imo it was the right decision. As soon as Wilson comes back he wont start and he'll be a massive upgrade over Gayle for our bench.

Diaz was the best transfer this windows, hands down. Best player in Portuguese league, performance at Copa, the fact that he's going to be replacing MANÉ of all people, we're talking about the best left winger in prem for the last couple years. 100 goal w/out pens. All Liverpool transfers will have slow transitions.
I look at Jota, and not many were thinking he was a good signing let alone perfect, and now in hindsight he's been nothing else but perfect. Has wonderfully fought for his place in the squad, and Diaz is expected to do the same. Plus he's 25, plenty of time to replicate his form at Portugal.

Luis Diaz is definitely the best signing this window. I've watched all of his games at Porto and he's that type of player that makes something happen 99% of the time he gets the ball. Plus he just suits so well Liverpool style of play and for the fee they got him for it's by far the best signing

kulusevski is an underrated signing. He has said that he loves to play in the number 10 role rather than a CF or a winger, which is exactly what the Spurs need. He will bring good creativity to the squad which is much needed, considering Skipp, Hojberg, and Betancur have similar roles.

Okay so i talked with a friend from Brussels, USG supporter as well, and he explained to me that Brighton owners are in fact USG owners as well, it's a finance group. So that might explain the price and the choice of player. USG got him from German 3rd Div and he got them to the title. He's quality.

As someone who watches Seria A often, Bentancur is awful. Faysal is right, all Spurs need to stop getting happy. He’s very poor, his long balls are not great and very slow in transition. He will be exposed in the premier league.
Conte however can be a magician with his players. Bentacur does have playing ability, but at the moment a bit down on his luck and out of confidence. I feel like he is willing to fight for a starting spot and in a Conte system, a hard-working player will always perform somewhat. Think we need to give the guy some time before calling good or bad, he will still be able to improve, he is only 24. Can see him to grow into the side pretty neatly.
