Thiago Alcantara is a horror shout. He’s in the starting 11 when he’s fit, him and Fabinho are the cemented places and we haven’t lost a match with both of them playing together. Thiago was crucial in us getting top 4 last year, he’s been solid this year and only recently injured again

I'm a City fan and I think Jesus is our most underrated player. Never shown much love by our own fans . But his runs ability to play in space good passer obviously can score and his WORKRATE is phenomenal
His pressing is so so important. Anytime we need a goal or need energy, Jesus comes on and changes the game. Foden too, the only reason Jesus doesn’t get love is because he was incorrectly named a striker.

Ederson is a terrible shout tbh. There is the occasional mistake, but let’s not act like he hasn’t saved City with saves on multiple occasions. City aren’t City without Ederson. He is one of the main reasons that teams are scared to press City. It’s ok for his best attribute to be his feet if he’s the best in the world at that.

You shouldn’t judge ratings based off price tags. Sometimes clubs get held to ransom & just pay the money bc of fan pressure & bc they rlly want the player. I’m sure the City bosses know that Grealish was never £100M but they firmed it bc they wanted him & they have the money to do so (same goes for Newcastle & C.Wood)

Faisal is wrong about reguilon. We didn’t sell because he wasn’t good it was to raise funds. Gutierrez hadn’t played a single minute for us at that time and wasn’t part of why we sold him. He was outstanding for Sevilla but we had to get some money and we chose mendy over him because of how good he was.

I respect the Thiago shout to point since he obviously performed better before he came to Liverpool but because of his status right now, I think he is underrated. Last season he had the most tackles of any player at Liverpool and this season in the prem Liverpool has won every game that he has played 7/7. He’s just injured all the time so we don’t get to see his impact on a regular basis.
@Real Alpha that’s not true because they play different systems. I can’t talk about pogba since I don’t exactly know what his role is in that aspect for Man U but if you watch Liverpool you can see that his main job is to pump the left channel as well as winning the ball and keeping it tidy in the middle. Not to play balls over the top or run down the left flank to put crosses in that’s Trent and robbos job. And even if you disregard all that his 7/7 record still stands, which tells me he is an elite footballer and is definitely cemented in that left midfield spot
@Real Alpha maybe, but when pogba plays they’re giving him more creative freedom than Thiago gets. He’s not going to try and play balls over the defensive line because that’s not his job. He isn’t going to go rouge and do something different than what is asked of him. Liverpool creates from the wing and Man U creates from the middle of the park so that’s why Thiago isn’t supposed to try those passes and it’s also why pogba is more often the second to last player to touch the ball before a goal is scored. And thiago is also much more defensively minded than pogba you can’t deny that. He has made some mistakes but pogba is almost unacceptable in defense, although that might be because he has to cover so much ground at least when ole was in charge.

He's just a flair player that Liverpool fans get excited about because they're not used to seeing a midfielder that can actually pass. That's not enough to play for Spain. The Ederson take is horrendous. Most of what Shaun said is rubbish.
He said Ederson is a big guy... he's 188 cm... that's not tall for a keeper at all. People call Pickford a midget yet Pickford is 185 cm ... so Ederson is only slightly taller than Pickford. Shaun also said that Ederson only wins golden gloves because of our defense... ok explain to me then how he won the golden glove in the 2019/20 season when we weren't good defensively at all. Laporte out for most of the year and Kompany leaving ment we usually played a washed Fernandinho next to a washed Otamendi at the back... plus Rodri wasn't good that season either so we didn't have no good dm either... yet somehow Ederson won the golden gloves because of our defense. He also said that he has never seen an amazing save from Ederson... literally just go on CZcams and watch some fucking compilation and you'll find some. He also said in the few big moments when we need Ederson to show up his concentration levels let him down... literally can't remember 1 mistake by Ederson that cost us in a big game this season and even before there aren't too many... not more than Alisson that's for sure. And last but not least he then tried to use Ederson's elite ball distribution against him... like if I didn't know any better I'd say Shaun's a United fan with all the bs he's talking about Ederson.

@@BenCreaven what a load of shit. He first of all is easily the best keeper when it comes to playing out from the back. This matters the game has eveolved. Second of all he is elite when coming off his line. Better than both Alisson and Mendy when it comes to that. I will concede that due to his height both Alisson and Mendy are better at catching crosses or corner and at saving shots from longer distances. When it comes to penalties Mendy is by far the worst like it ain't even close. Mendy has a 6% penalty save rate, Ederson has a 15% penalty save rate and Alisson is by far the best at 36%. I watched every game this season and last season and Ederson has been elite. He made a few mistakes in the 19/20 season but that was because we had no defense... same reason why Alisson looked dodgy last season. I think ya'll just hating but at the end of the day it's ok. Ya'll keep hating while Ederson keeps winning golden gloves it's all good
