I've got a business which turns over five million pound a year, and I am looking for investment of £100,000 for 10% in a new business with zero turnover. Deborah was correct, the man is off his head even if he offered 50% in the new business the deal makes no sense.

At least when Dom cooks the books it’s done in a squeaky clean oven 🤔🍻
He mentions £5million and all of sudden the dragons drop the attitude begin to smile at him.

His franchise model is a scam since he does not really have anything unique expect the idea

He might have done up his collar and tie before he came into the Den. He's looking so scruffy!! Maybe it's a reflection of his business mindset!!
They messed it up, immediately trying to laugh and giggle amongst themselves, he should of cut it short himself, it was very obvious early on they were just lengthening it out for TV.
You such a (jack or )Mary of trades ❤
I don't understand why he thinks this is a franchise business. First, if he's so confident that it'll work for the franchisees, why doesn't he just employ people to do it for him, so he gets 100% of the turnover instead of 10%? Second, people open McDonald's or Starbucks franchises because those are well-known, market-leading brands. What's the name of his company, again? OK, that's slightly unfair because his customers aren't members of the public so you wouldn't expect me, a member of the public, to have heard of his company. But I don't think it's _very_ unfair -- it's not like he ever says he has this amazing, successful brand that's known throughout the industry or something.
Ethereum
It's crazy... why don't they ever offer up part of the successful business? I know there have been a few who did do that, but awful when not, it's so disingenuous.
Imagine the greed from Peter Jones and the other dragons if he mentioned his 4.5 million turnover business from the start. They would have stolen his business and used their usual tactics “we have contacts and expertise” to try and win it.
This guy is a chancer, would hate to do any business with him, he an example of someone who takes someones money and runs away.

I like how the "Dragons" claim the entrepreneur's experience and product knowledge and already setup organization are not important, and anyone else could do it, BUT - when it comes to themselves they demand a premium because of the "wealth of knowledge and experience" they bring to the table - HAHA!
Because they're some of the most successful in the entire country. It's like comparing a amateur to an expert. Both have experience but one has much more.
@@lukesworshipgearreviews8171 to be fair though they probably only became rich through this .. most of them run chains like gyms or it or telecommunications companies .. the majority of their money probably came through their contract with Dragons Den and the BBC and the ability to invest in thousands of potential people like reggae reggae sauce, probably not from their own business (they were probably millionaires or close to it , but pretty much everyone's a millionaire nowadays unless you choose to be poor like me). What I think governments should do is give everyone 1million then see what happens. Then people can't complain that they have no choice to do anything and can't complain about the disparity between rich and poor. People will then do things for pleasure and passion instead of for cash - grab reasons and not ruin things I like because of their greed (art, animals, music, cinema)
@@underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 Alright, sounds like you didn't take an economics class in high school. If you give everyone a million dollars, then that causes inflation and ruins the value of money, which doesn't help anyone. Also, "pretty much everyone's a millionaire"? Really? Can you cite your source on that?
