I really love it that even when a dragon has declined to invest, they're still genuinely happy for the entrepreneur that some other dragon has taken them up.
The business is growing 10% year on year with zero marketing and these plonkers can't see the opportunity ???
They ripped him a new one taking 50% of his company :O
But after he pay off their investment they drop 10% leaving him 60%. I would take that anyday with two dragons Theo and Debra.

@Speciman exactly they all do it. Love or hate him, there's a famous businessman turned politician in the United States that's done the same thing too. The successful businessmen will double or multiply what they originally had by hundreds, thousands or more.
A biblical story talks of how 3 men were given money, 1 guy buried it, the other invested it and consequently doubled it and the other spent it all. The one that doubled it was the real winner. Same thing today.
Liam I donât think Trump grew his wealth. He is rich, but his Dad did the right investments firsts. I honestly donât think he is a billionaire, he lives a lavish lifestyle built on debt from the Russians and the Chinese as American banks wonât loan him money due to bankruptcies and defaults.
@@sloppynyuszi I'm not here to start a political debate, so I'll respectfully disagree ahah.
@@Alto53 He's right though. Trump is actually a failed (bankrupt) businessman (who the banks wouldn't loan to again) with a good brand (TV personality). He kept himself ticking over with that. Now he is president and i am sure he's doing ok for himself. Nod nod, wink wink, say no more

"Mrs. P wouldn't be happy for me to invest"
The Dragons are multimillionaires and deserve to be as they have taken risk themselves. But taking 50/40% of someone's company is just pure greed.
Without them his business will just about put food on the table. Where as with them he could possibly become a millionaire. 50% of Millions or 100% of thousands? hmmmm not rocket science is it đ
@@thorpskirocks8993 I know it's not rocket science, I'm just saying how greedy the Dragons are, it's not like they need the money. Get your initial investment back and make money but 50%???? They are like payday loans.
Wai Lee business is business, his company hasnât made a profit for a decade, I think it was a reasonable offer.
@@1234Cheesus not saying he should not have taken the deal because I would off. It's just that I stand the greed of the Dragons, like I said to a previous response it like payday loans.

When peter wants to invest I've noticed he never speaks first he always listens to all the investors then gives the friendliest offer and makes all the entrepreneurs choose him instead of the other investors
Brilliant product, I cam see it becoming compulsory on health and safety grounds.
You can tell, thatâs a hard working man. I wish him all the best
One of the most level headed entrepreneurs in the den
F****** Theo playing the 'my kids inheritance' card... again, give it a rest dude....
what a bloke, never routed for anyone more than him on this show! YORKSHIRE
It seems like whenever someone is visibly nervous, everyone is automatically on their site. Even the comment section is full of love and best wishes for that guy and I feel the same way.
It makes you wonder why we even try to appear confident and without weakness ...
Some pull off confident some pull off being a lil wonky depends
There are different types of nervous. This guy was literally shaking but you can tell he believes in the product and has an honest sense about him, and he even started to get a little more comfortable as the pitch went on. Others may start out appearing confident, but as the pitch continues and they are investigated by the dragons you can see their energy change. The pitfalls of the operation that they try to sweep under the rug are being given the spotlight and a lot of people's nervous energy starts to come out. This entrepreneur was open and honest about his business model and downfalls.
@@monir6834 And some pull off being an overbearing douchebag. How is that working out for you?
I was in the Den for 2hours they only show 15minutes of it on the show, yes I was very nervous
Glad he made it thru that shivering and shaking.i been there done that
Watching Dragon's den/shark tank makes you at least realize its okay to be nervous, its natural sometimes
The thing I hate about dragons den is how small the investments are compared to shark tank because the investments are mainly 50 or 100k whilst shark tank invests millions into businesses with good potential
you probably won't like irish dragons den then ..
the reason that i don't like shark tank is cos they are all ill-mannered greedy ass-holes and bullies..
And I think Shark Tank US investors are more smart, innovative, respectful and ready to take the risks. However, nobody is more entertaining than Peter Jones especially his pissed off face đ€Ł
You can't really compare the shows tbh. Shark Tank is all drama and people who have already made their businesses. Dragons Den is more ordinary people with good ideas or smaller businesses looking for experience and guidance to help them grow their small businesses.

Hello Shane how are you doing today hope things are fine there
Please stay safe from the Covid 19 . Wish we can be friends and know more about each other
Good on him, donât give up your dream people.
Debra didn't fully understand. It isn't just so that you can keep using lights while you are refurbishing. An electrician does the re-wiring. They can then leave, you can replaster and repaint without getting plaster and paint on the cables. Also, you don't need to use an electrician after plastering and painting as you just screw things into the walls. But it is the protection of cables that is key.
