    The added torpedoes are perfect. They look great, sound right, reload time and amount plus damage are great. Now I can finally sleep well again 😂

  • @chadwickst.clair-smythe4217

    The torpedoes are spot on.

    Nice! So what's the difference from Type III (aside from torps)? Hull seems about the same, weaker shields? Or weaker beams?

      @adamlee2111  Před 28 dny +1

      A bit of everything really, slightly weaker shields, weaker beams and hull is 25k vs 30k for the type 3

      @@adamlee2111 Yea, makes sense. They would upgrade it across the board, given the chance. Not just any 1 aspect of it. Looks good.

      The Galor Type III is actually a completely new ship from the Type II. The Galors only really have a common hull in common. The Type II was built in the 2340s into 2350s. The Galor Type III appeared in the mid-2360s as a counter to the growing number of more advanced Starships. It is not a progression, like a refit Excelsior. People get confused about Galors, but really what the Cardassians did with the Type III is use the same hull and built a completely new ship inside it. *The Galor Type III is a proper mid-2360s vintage ship, appearances are deceiving.* That is why the Type III is a big step forward and a ship that even in a pair outclassed an Ambassador or Nebula.

      @@crownprincesebastianjohano7069 Ambassador maybe. But a Nebula is basically a compacted Galaxy class. No way two of them would be a match for a Nebula. They would give it a decent fight, to be sure, but in the end it would be two dead Galor Type IIIs, and a very alive (but somewhat battered) Nebula.
      There's a reason the Cardassians use the Keldon for their heavy hitter. Two Keldons are more of a match for Galaxy or Nebula.
      Oh and btw, if you think there's anything of the original Excelsior left in the refit Excelsiors, except maybe the toilets, you don't know how ship refitting works. That would be like modern navy updating a WW2 era battleship. Only thing it would have in common with the original, is the hull shape. Excelsior refits are a completely new ship, inside an Excelsior hull. The only "progression" there is, is from an Excelsior Refit, to the Lakota-Type. That could be called progression, since the technology isn't as far apart, time-wise.
      It'll be interesting to see how Adam balances the Keldons. I feel they should be significantly more powerful then Galors, but still below the really top-dogs. The Obsidian Order Keldon subtype might be a match for a Nebula 1 on 1.

      @@necroticavalon5176 I’ll split the difference and make 2 Keldons superior to 1 standard galaxy. 2 type 3 galors will fight a standard nebula to within an inch of its life (same deal as the Ambassador vs Devore warship). 2 type 2 galors will do the same to a 2370’s ambassador. I think this will make cardassian ships viable but still show their technological limitations?
