We bought a 2005 Titan LE with every option at the time right off the show room floor in Tulsa, OK. 14 years later and almost 200k miles, still running and driving like a new one. Original brakes (yes, original brakes), shocks, everything original except tires. Only issues have been the infamous power steering leak, and some diff leaks through the years. It’s amazing what routine maintenance and care will do.

@@lastwhtknight3002 that opinion is really biased nissan definitely changed styling to look like the big 3 hence they change from a semi cab over design to a more domestic look. Engines built 2017-2019 have an issue with #7 cylinder scoring causing a knock which caused a tsb to be sent out requiring replacement of short block. It's just a good value is all I've ever been able to say about nissan. I love my old pathfinder just like I love my Isuzu they are just the most reliable rn to me when it comes to their warranty and drivetrains. If I had the money to invest in nissan I'd take the risk I see their stock plummeting in the future and then rising out of the ashes. There are rumors of bankruptcy and the killing off of the commercial vans maybe a sign of the truth to those claims.

At 9k ft elevation it towed it like a champ. Truck really performed well. I think there extremely under-rated. The only issue I've had with mine is the dash board rattles a little. Dealer is going to fix it next week. There's been some complaints about engine knocking, but that's mainly with a hand full of 17-18's.

I love my 2018 Pro4X. It was the only truck I didn’t need to change something on from the start to be happy with it. I love the style, manly, but classy without too much flash. That V8 is awesome, but I don’t care much for the transmission. The gear ratio spread just seems weird to me. But it works, and it’s not a CVT thank god. Handles quite well for a big truck, and can take being worked. The tires are the weak point, 100% agree with that. They absolutely do not fit the theme of the truck. Plenty of other tires Nissan could pick that aren’t that much more aggressive but would give the truck more attitude. But like you all in all it’s a great truck.

My only gripe is that I wish it had an actual key instead of a FOB, I live up north and when it gets cold and when the FOB battery is a little weak and cold it makes for some stressful situations.

Great review from someone who has actually used it! I am looking to upgrade the pappy fronty within the next 2 years and have been debating the titan vs titan xd diesel. Ya know, a big boy truck. Love the utili-track in the fronty. Already test drove the gas version but still need to for the diesel model. Tons of space! Turning radius is way better than my extended bed fronty. One ding from me, they are still using the same front sunglasses holder/light that they have been using for the past 14 years. Time for an upgrade there. Definitely looking at a Pro4X regardless. Cheers!! PS- Love that graphic at the end ;-)

The 2004 titan I gave my son was given to his brother and he went out and bought a 2018 titan also...he drove the other competitors trucks and thought they were all nice...the difference for him was the same for me, 5 years bumper to bumper warranty or 100,000 miles.
Ford was 3 years-36,000 mile warranty. The ford dealer said he could match the warranty...for 2,800 bucks extra...really.
Having painted some show cars in the past, black was the worst, showed every little imperfection, road chips were like big zits on your forehead ! The gray I have does pretty good, but the white my son has on his titan always looks good, even when dirty !

Trailer tow mirrors awesome. I took off the pro4x stickers. Spray in bed liner plus, no spray on tailgate why? Cargo lights in the box on the cab a plus. Tie down hooks a plus. The interior is great. The audio awesome, no apple android, fail. I find the paint real thin all over the truck and to me that's a fail. Heated seats in the rear are great, cargo storage also awesome. Around view cameras, that's a win. Over all it's a great truck, and like any truck some minor annoyances. It's sadly under rated and imo better than the chevs Ford's dodges in the same price range. @@leardi58 Nissan claims one of the tires can't be balanced which is a common problem with the Goodyear sra. Goodyear has the warranty on the tires not Nissan. They wanted to sell me a new set of tires at half price but I said forget it because they wouldn't sell me a better set of all terrains. I'm just going to wait until the Goodyear SRA are worn out and by BF Goodrich or Cooper tires. Which won't be long because they are wearing faster than any tire I've ever seen.
