    This is how videos should be - we look at the engine the whole time. Well done. Excellent narration.

    It always looks so easy on video. I remember the very first time I tried spark plug changes on my m235, it was supposed to be an hour ended up taking me 3-4 hours.

      I just did this on my N55 135i not exactly the same but the hardest part was re-installing the radiator fan. I kid you not this job is even simpler than it looks on video. Did my tensioner in 15 mins.

    Love your content brother, my 2016 M235 is at 53k and the belt looks in good shape. I am seeing wobble on the tensioner like in your video though. I did this exact job on my E90 a few months before trading it in. Now I ask myself WWFD, What would Fritz do?

      Nice! I'm glad to hear that. When you traded in your E90, did they do a full on inspection and look at the tensioner?

      @@FritzRamosthey didn't even look at it. The sales/paperwork girl at Carvana went and checked the car out while I was test driving the new ride in the rain. She moved the car and we did all the paperwork. I went out to get my plates and saw that she accidentally rolled all the windows down, in the pouring rain. I feel for whoever got that car because it was soaked

    Dear Firtz, Firstly many thanks for such perfect videos.
    I was changed both pulley bearing with belt on my n13 BMW F30 engine. After that engine was Rough idle at first start especially on cold wheather. Also tensioner was shaking. Problem was at cold start especially on cold wheather, engine rpm was fluctiate until it warms. Im thinking of may be releated with old tensioner spring cause this problem or belt itself. Dou you recommend change both tensioner whole and belt again? If you interest I can send video about that

    Fritz now that you have used liqi moly molygen for a while. Do you recommend Castrol over molygen? Or molygen over Castrol.

    I have a question about vsrf Intercooler and charge pipe on your video which is extremely helpful. All part are in place but when my ac is running it is making a louder than normal sounds. Do you think there might be a boost leak? Or louder fan noise is normal due to bigger Intercooler?

      You should have a before and after to compare it to. A little movement is fine. If it seems excessive try asking for a replacement

    Hey men question i have a bmw x5 e70 with a n55 engine the car runs rough at idle i found that when i unplug the maf air flow sensor the rough idle goes away what could be the problem someone told me that it can be a faulty maf air flow sensor or a vacuum leak 🤦‍♂️

    • @richardggeorge
      @richardggeorge Před rokem

      When you disconnected the MAF sensor the ECU uses the MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor instead to fuel the engine so you may have a faulty MAF or a leak nearby (unmetered air)
