      Nah fr though when I was sick af earlier this year pretty much on my death bed I just binged all these episodes and it helped make time go by a bit faster, was sick for like 2 weeks haha so I got all caught up and even rewatched some

      I would argue mixedmolley is best mma youtube but they do completely different types of videos so hard to compare. Weasel is best for fight break downs though.

    I think gane doesn’t necessarily make the division exciting. He makes the division more intriguing. He’s a breath of fresh air in a division usually dominated by wrestlers or ko artist. He brings a different element.

      Muay thai and judo seem like the best to me. Street fights usually have fools rushing into you full speed so clinching is inevitable. Elbows, knees, and sweeps all day. Then stomp the face after a sweep

      Any kind of actual martial art like boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, wrestling, kyokushin, jiujitsu, will put you MILES ahead of any random street brawler. But, the greatest martial art of all is running.

    People are sleeping on Ngannou's wrestling. I will say it now: Ngannou will take down Gane and ground and pound him.
    Ps: we may be in front of the best heavyweight Trilogy of all time, and we don't know it yet.

I don’t see him shooting a whole lot of double legs but if manages to crash into range I definitely can see him grabbing a clinch and working to a cage or for a takedown.

      You hit the nail on the head. I'd pick the Gane that beat Lewis over the Ngannou that beat Stipe, but that Ngannou was miles away the best we'd ever seen him so who knows how much better he might be his next showing

      Technique? Francis dont use technique he knocked stipe out with his dam eyes closed........Francis cant fight but he is such a physical beast it dont matter. He will have trouble hitting gane

    I understand that you don't want to get a copyright strike, but can't you show short distorted clips or gifs to give context to what you're saying sometimes? I see many other MMA youtube channels do it. Like at 3:06 shifting combinations, I have no idea what they are and a short gif of it in a fight would add so much more to your videos.

      While I’m not sure if he can or can’t do that or if he just chooses not to, I can tell you what he means by shifting combinations. Shifting combinations are when a fighter throws a series of punches and/or kicks and during this combination switches stance from orthodox to southpaw or vice versa. Dustin and TJ are 2 of the best examples of this

      @@Zzutubez if you want further reference, look at what Masvidal did to Darren Till, and what he tried on Usman in their second fight. The shifting combinations are like an ace up his sleeve that he occasionally pulls out.

    Here’s a question for the next podcast. How did Khabib go from unranked in your GOAT list, prior to the Gaethje fight, all the way up to #2 on your GOAT list, after the Gaethje fight? How does one fight miraculously catapult someone that high up the ladder.

      Maybe he didn't look at all the angels in his first goat list.
      People with the right time can look at all the angels and criteria and can make a more accuratz answer or opinion.
      But once you consider lightweight to be the greatest devision especially khabib generation and khabib sominated all of them and finished the majority like it was a walk in a park without facing any adversity. I say hold on and you realize you looking at a special talent.

      Silva is definitely an all time great and his record is solid but before he came to the ufc he already had 4 lose and some of them were by finishes.
      His title defense run was on of the most impressive and the opponent he faced were considered verygood for there time or era.............. But in today mma standered (chael sonnen, Chris liven, thales leilet, forest Griffin, rich, okami) would be considered below average fighters.
      And silva lost a lot of rounds against them and even got dropped by some of them.
      Still silva is great.

    I still don’t understand the notion the Stipe “deserves” an immediate title shot. He was KNOCKED OUT in his last fight and lost the title. All because you’ve defended said title more than any heavyweight(which really hasn’t been that many defenses), mean every fight from here-on-out should be for a title. I get him and Francis are 1-1, but he should at least get one other fight in. He acts so privileged and always like he’s been wronged

      @@emilianosintarias7337 the "perks" of the belt involve $$...more views from being a persistent main event=pay per view money, and I've heard a belt holder makes a substantial amount more each fight for being in championship fights.

Of course I could go on with the what-ifs that are never going to happen, but you get my point. Between the win over Alvarez and the ankle break there was plenty of time for Conor to get better as a fighter, but he wasted it in favour of money.

Money brings out the person you always were but your personality meets less resistance now that you're rich..(the yesmen) he surrounds himself with.. he got the nickname "notorious" because he was a pain to deal with at the gym.. he was very driven but he clearly wasn't a humble man... The only thing that humbled him was his circumstances

    43:10 Nah man. Refs get paid per assignment and the amount is fixed. There's no pay increase depending on the magnitude of the fight or whose fighting. That would be cool though.
