Sir, aap ke explanation bahot hi achha tha. Ek concept ka baat kehna chahunga ki, input section me jo ac ko dc kiya jata hai, yeh ac ghar ke outlet se aata hai, jo 230v aur 50hz ke hota hai. Isko step dn karnebka sabse asan tarika hai stepdn irom transformer. Lekin isme efficiency kam aur losses jyada hai due to eddy current and other coil resistance losses. Iron transformer high freq ke liye suitable nhi hai.
In SMPS, pehle ac ko directly high voltage dc me convert karten hai. Is me losses bahot kam hai. Ab, is high voltage dc se, low voltage high current milne ke liye switching cct use kiya jata hai. Is switching cct KHz me hota hai jiske karan switching transformer chhota size ho jata hai, aur iska core bhi banta hai powdered iron se jo high freq handle kar sakta hai.
Ab freq-core-desired output voltage and output current decide karta hai ki switching transformer ki specs kya hoga.
Sir, aap se req hai ki ek video is transformer ka specification aur calculation based on topology (fly-back/no air gap) aur skin effect konexplain kareñ.🙏

Bilkul sahi baat hai sir duniya ka koi bhi transfarmer Ac volt per work karta hai dc volt per not working kiyuki smps transfarmer ke ek leg ko dc volt deten hain lekin doosre leg ko mosfet yaa pwm ic ke dwara frequncy dete hain to transfarmer me magnetic fild efect hota hai uske baad transfarmer ke secondry coil se Ac volt out hota hai

Music system 220volt main chalta hai.Transformer nahin hai usme to SMPS hi hoga.smps use karke koi music system bana sakta hoon kya.Sir Kaunsa board acha rahega.smps ka voltage kaise increase karoon.plz batayen
If some one wants simply AC-DC then you will require big transformer compair to smps transformer and total size of power supply will be big size and working voltage will be have to be fix at 230 v AC if voltage goes down say 110v AC out put voltage will go down by 50 % and power supply will not be possible to deliver the load

Nicely explained. Pulsating wawe called here squir wawe. I request you to kindly make the vedeo on calculation of resistance used to optocupler and tl 431 and start-up resister. If these resistance burnt then this is big problem to repair, if technician knows the formula, he can put the proper resistance here and solve the matter properly. Thank u so much.

I have on question about snubber circuit in this stage use capacitor electrolyte if you used polarity bassd capacitor in normal situation polarity will be wrong kindly explain.

Diode is required at auxiliary winding. Startup resistor is of high ohms not low ohms.

Sir we use diode full wave circuit for smooth dc but in out put only one diode we use here also we use electrolytic capacitor & in input also we use capacitor but in input weuse big value capacitor in out put small value capacitor.
Primary me AC ko DC me badalne ke liye hum bridge rectifier ka istemal karte hain jisme do diode positive pulses ko aur do diode negative pulses ko rectify karte hain, lekin secondry me hum pulsating DC ko hi rectify kar rahe hain jisme negative pulses nahi hoti. isliye secondry me hame ek ya do diode lagane se hi kaam ho jata hai. Input section me filter capacitor bada lagaya jata hai kyuki wahi se poore SMPS ko power Dee jati hai, jis se aapka switching section bhi kaam karta hai aur transformer me Switching current bhi wahi se supply hota hai. Jabki output me sirf Kam power ka ek load hi chalana hota hai...

why dont we use bridge rectifier in output instead of a single diode half wave rectifier..... full wave rectifier will give pure dc in output as we are rectifying dc pulse or say square wave.
Because the output is pulsating DC and not AC wave. There is no negative cycle. Hence we only need to rectify the positive pulses. Small SMPS boards use just one diode to keep the cost low. Big supplies use two diodes to get positive pulses from both the ends of the output winding...

mostly 3 type wave use hota hai, sine wave-square wave and triangle wave, but all wave ac main work karte hai, dc main sayed nahi .
but ap ne jo dc pulsetting ke bare main bataya..,,, dc puls / wave ko multimeter se keise check kare .. ac ya dc ranch main.
Q ki all smps are work AC-DC-AC-DC. jo ap ne last main bataya...
And mostly same work also inverter DC to AC . inverter main DC input voltage ko AC main convert kiya jata hai driver section se.
then transformer se high voltage output milta hai...

Mujhe lagta hai pwm ic sirf + duty cycle pulse bhejta hai tabhi ek fast recovery diode use Kiya Jaata hai.
