What we will teach you about diodes
A diode is a semiconductor device that allows electric current to flow in only one direction.
There are two types of diodes: PN junction diodes and Schottky diodes.
A PN junction diode is made of N-type and P-type semiconductor materials.
The function of a diode is to allow electric current to flow in one direction and to block it in the other direction.
Diodes are used in rectifiers, clippers, clamping circuits, and other electronic devices.
The V-I characteristic of a diode is a curved line that shows how the current flowing through the diode changes with the voltage applied to the diode.
Diodes are used in radios, televisions, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
