Hey there - you might remember I have the 19FD. Pretty much the same specs. Something to think about and check. I called Forest River regarding traveling with full water in the fresh water tank. They said they strongly recommend against it. They said the water tank can bulge and cause damage. I did it once and the tank was really deformed. The bracing bars holding the tank in are really weak and not designed for carrying the full 37 gallons. If you haven't inspected the tank, look underneath when it's full and see what you think. After seeing mine, I opted for carrying 5 gallon collapsible water jugs inside the camper until I get to the camp spot, then fill as necessary with a spout. I built a holding area underneath the murphy bed for them. Anyway, not trying to be critical, just hoping you stay safe driving. Another GeoPro'er had a welding/metal shop add some stronger braces underneath the tank and spaced them closer together which made a world of difference. Cheers - safe travels.
Hi Jason, found your videos last week. Thanks. My wife and I are retired living in Santa Barbara CA and did the Hwy 395 route last summer, but tent camping. We went all the way up to Oregon, over to the coast, then down the coast home. It was a great trip!. Now we want to get a trailer and we're looking at the Geo Pro 15TB. We're okay with small as we would be spending most of our time outside. We just want a bed, toilet and someplace to go if the weather turns nasty. I'd love to hear from anyone out there that has experience wit the 15TB. Thanks.
I lived on Tahoe's north shore for many years and agree with you; it's not only a gem in California/Nevada, but also anywhere in the world. I intend to move back to Incline Village soon and would be happy to give you some locals perspectives if you ever want them.
Margarita Velona Ugh! She took a corporate job with an anti-social media policy... I can tell you that she’s trade geo pro life for a office life any day of the week... I think I can say that lol. Otherwise I guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of Renee lol
Hi Jason and Rene! Great video! The cool thing is, we just Boondocked for our very first time at Travertine Hot Springs, just out of Bridgeport. We found a spot on Google maps in the hills just above Bridgeport. After we got set up, we took a walk up to the Hot Springs and you could see our EPro in the distance from there. Pretty cool place. We wanted to mention Alabama Hills to you. We continued down 395 to Keough Hot Springs (which is awesome awesome- don’t miss it!! And then we Boondock for three nights in the Alabama Hills. Marked one of my dreams off of my bucket list! It would’ve been cool to run into you at travertine Hot Springs. Maybe we’ll see you next year out enjoying the wilderness!
I also have a Geo Pro. I was wondering what kind of tires did yours come with and how have they been holding up? Mine are a brand that I never heard of called West Lake. I believe they're Chinese. We went camping near Seligman, Arizona for Thanksgiving and got snowed in! I-40 was 9 miles from where we were and the road wasn't plowed for a week so we had to leave our rig on my friend's property. We had to drive all the way back the next week to pick it up (6 hours each way). This was our first trip in our trailer and it was a real adventure!
Hey Jason, keep the videos coming. Always look forward to see where you're going next. I just bought a 19QB. Just curious about the mattress that you sleep on. Did you stick with the one that came with the camper? Or did you switch it out for something more comfortable.
Hi Jason! I have been wanting to buy a Geo Pro/ E Pro for a while. I plan to wire a MPPT charger on the inside storage compartment for the portable solar plug in and change out the one inside. I know that the inverter is hidden under the bed. What kind is the stock inverter? I want to change it out for a Go Power 2000 pure sine wave. I also plan to the change the batteries out for Battle Born lithium iron phosphate batteries.
I’ll be there soon! It’s been on my bucket list. Quick question, what are you using as a camera? I’m wondering if I could travel using mostly an iPhone 11 Pro?
Bill Sprague This and the last video we’re shot entirely on the iphone 11pro. It’s so easy I love it over any other camera including my canon m50 vlog set-up:)
Evolutionary Energy Arts Funny! We are getting the Geo Pro ready to move from SOCal to Florida (Miami Area) - Do you know the Florida area well - looking for great camping near Miami & near the coast:)
@@GeoProAdventures I am more familiar with the gulf side. We just bought a 2020 Geo Pro 19FBS and will be heading to the Sarasota-Venice area. The RV Odd Couple are wintering in Nokomis at the Royal Coachman. rvonthego.com/florida/royal-coachman-rv-resort/ It looks beautiful. We are super excited to embrace this new adventure!
How did the trailer handle on Buckeye Rd. We live in Yosemite and are interested in the geo pro bunkhouse model. Just curious how it will handle similar or worse dirt roads. Thanks!
We drive slow when we’re off roading otherwise everything in the cupboards will be on the floor when you stop. It has good clearance but really rocks & rolls if you’re truly off roading. We’ve taken it in some crazy places in Colorado that looking back I don’t know if we’d do again. A lot of the roads are single traffic, so one you start there’s no turning around:)
@@GeoProAdventures lol we would just be on old logging roads that are maintained! As long as it can handle packed graded dirt we are good. Also, everyone always says bring tools and keep them on board. Which tools do you reccomend?
Hello from Maine, how is your 19fbs only 3,000 Lbs? I have a 2020 19fbs geopro and it’s 3,800lbs with cargo according to the specs, then your pulling a full fresh water tank full of water at 37 gallons, X 8lbs per gallon water, brings that up to another 296 lbs so now your over 4,000lbs.
Fizzle Blink I was just commenting - I think it’s around 3000 pounds empty, then water, waste, batteries, propane a bunch of supplies - you’re correct. It would be more. I think the FD is 2,800 & not 3,800 pounds tho - that’s the one we originally wanted and it’s lighter than our FBS. I can double check...
Margarita Velona Oh! The sand/dust at Burning man is like volcanic ash and gets in every crack. I attempted to prevent having to spend 4 hours cleaning the inside... but it still got everywhere :/

TPD ALL VIEWERS = GOOD INFO!!!! I didn’t know this! It makes sense and I always want our viewers to have the most accurate info. Thank you:)

I'm thinking about a Geo Pro and hitting the road full-time so this and your other videos are invaluable so thank you for chronicling your journey!
And don’t forget to visit Bodie, the ghost town, also near Keoghs! 🔆
Where is Renee?

Margarita Velona Trust me, she feels the same way:) However, life as a gypsy doesn’t pay all that well lol...
Lmao! Well on a weekend we should hook up and camp. Going to Calico this weekend with cousins camping.
Margarita Velona Sounds fun!
I noticed you have tape on your window. What happened?
Excellent one - thanks Jason (makes me want to travel out west).

Was wondering what’s your towing capacity on your Jeep?
Thought the reason people got the Geo Pro was to boondock ???
What kind of inverter comes with the Geo Pro and is it pure sine wave?
My 2021 20BHS has the “solar package” it has 1-185w panel on the roof, two 6 volt golf car batteries, and a 1000w pure sine wave inverter.
