The presenter gives Jack some stick and he takes it in good humour but ultimately he’s played premier league and international football so fair play to him
and pissed it all away.
@@roathripper well he didn’t piss it all away. He isn’t a Gazza. Just been under minded by multiple career threatening injuries and as a result he’s obviously lost self confidence.
Shame to see how much confidence he’s lost in himself. Had incredible potential but clearly injuries took their toll over time. Never forget when he gave that prime Barca midfield the runaround
his attitude was a factor
One good game!
Jack doesn't let people forget about the Barca midfield either, he still lives off the back of telling the story
Bloody hell how many times does that game against Barca have to be mentioned? One game 😂
He has not been injured at all while playing for AGF (14 games and 2 vital point giving assists in the Superliga over 3 month), The main difference playing Superliga instead of in the Championship is that it not as physically demanding, there are two teams of PL (Brentford) level and only 12 teams so you do not play two games a week and 5 of the 12 teams get to play in Europa Cups, 2 in the Champions league qualifiers, 1 in the Europa league qualifiers (play-off's) and 2 in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, of which 2 teams are sure to play in a group stage (If not CL then EL, and if not EL then in the UCL). Last season Denmark had 4 out of 5 teams in a group stage.
These three are so good together. Love listening to them bantering each other
A comment to what Jack says (from a Danish AGF fan).
The club is actually getting a new coach, and the sporting director (Stig Inge Bjørnebye - former Liverpool fullback) is aiming for a more possession oriented style of play (unlike the counter attack Jack refers to that has been played).
In the matches Jack played (he probably started half of all games, and was substituted in in the rest), it was clear to see that his technique and vision was above the league and that of his teammates. But it was also clear to see that the many injuries have affected his pace... becuase he's not fast anymore!
I think I speak on behalf of a lot of AGF fans when I say that I hope he extends his stay at the club.
I wanna see U on the pitch again Jack and Wish U all the best mate. Greetings from Germany brother ✌️👊
yes jack good to hear your back
He needs to play here. Great shout to play under Rooney tho.
Too injury prone and has lost his form over the past few years.
They love there football in Denmark.. Great country 👌
This interview breaks my heart ... I'm a Liverpool fan and I loved this guy
I like Jack . He’s having a tough time but he’s also had a great time. Obviously should have signed that contract offer from arsenal that time rather than leaving for free
I think he made a good choice trying at West Ham was just the worst period for them
The arrogance from Goldstein is unbearable.
Well speaking as a Dane is was fun to see him here. A little unfortunate he came to a team that was falling a part and ended up fighting to to stay in the league.
Wilshere at one point looked like a superb talent as a 6
He's had a shocker hasn't he
Hard work listening to this
Best of luck Jack for whatever lays ahead in the future. Even if his best days are behind him he made his mark. Coming from a Spurs fan.
@KomodoDragon ouch!!
@KomodoDragon Agreed. He had the talent to have been in the mix at the last Euros. I'm surprised he's still only 30. As though he's been around for years. Top comment.
Nice comment to say from a Spud well done unlike some of your fans
Where Can i see the full interview?
I love the banter between these 3 lads.
It don't feel like banter
at least we have mr excitment back on talk sport
I stayed in a hotel by the harbour in Aarhus many years ago. I wonder if Jack enjoyed hearing the ship's horns sounding every morning at 05:00 as much as I did.
Any chance bringing Mo Salah on the show to meet Andy Goldstein and see if Andy is man enough to tell Salah he isn't a world-class player.
Not everything is about Liverpool
At least Jack paid attention during his time in Denmark! 'The manager was Norwegian but spoke Danish'. The manager was born and bred in Denmark but played and managed in Norway :D
I was really happy when West Ham signed him, he's a good player just always injured
Nobody is willing to pay someone millions to just permanently sit out injured, time to get another profession Jack, like anyone else would have to do.
Real Madrid n gareth bale also juve and ramsey beg to differ
@@johnmcauley3042 No, that makes no sense, they both had long contracts and just sat on them until they ran out. Madrid were trying to get Bale out for the last 3 years of his contract and they will never get contracts like that again. Wilshire had short contracts at West Ham and Bournemouth and hardly kicked a ball because he is constantly injured which is why he was moved on and why nobody here offered him any deals and that led to him having to take a stint in Denmark.
@@johnmcauley3042 Yes but look what Bale already did at Real.
Someone give him a contract for the love of god. May not be a star player for most championship sides but he could deffo put a shift in
Are football clubs charities now to give the down and outs money for doing nothing?
But he can't cos he always breaks down
He will put a ‘ Shift in ‘ on someone’s treatment table , should have retired years ago ‼️
Jack was a good player. Not anymore below average could hardly run. I will be surprised if AGF offers him a new contract.
Put a shift in? Such a stupid turn of phrase, a shift is 8 or 12 hours of hard graft not 90 mins on a football pitch!
AGF Aarhus here, we want you back Wilshere ! so please return, it will also be good for your future career as a coach. The manager obviously got fired due to the terrible poor results, so a new manager is on the way, most likely the German Uwe Rösler. The AGF sporting director of football (and former Liverpool player) Stig Inge Bjørnebye also had a meeting with Robbie Fowler at Café Victor in Copenhagen, and Fowler also watched a Danish Superliga game while visiting, but he is not up for the job as manager, though he said he would like to work in Denmark, so I'm guessing he may become assistant coach or some kind of scout/ambassador for AGF, not least trying to strengthen the connections to the English market and both the young and good PL and Championship players struck by misfortune and on free transfers. it's a market that foreign clubs find quite difficult to work with, unless they have excellent English connections. So this is where Bjørnebye and assistant coach Dave Reddington and then also Jack Wilshere will be able to help out.
Go for a move Stateside, Jack!
Just think of where he could of been if it wasn't for injuries which is a god damn shame!!
What do you think of Wiltshire = Sh-t, what do you think of Sh-t = Wiltshire = Mug
Hes 31 which is mad. If he's fit, anyone outside the top six should just give him a one month rolling contract.
Derby would be perfect
The English Isco without the 5x UCL
Please upload a clip of that fan who came on and spoke absolute facts about the current state of Arsenal football club
The fact that he fails to realise that his manager is Danish and not Norwegian (although he played and coached up there) and overexaggerates the attendance figures (AGF's average attendance for the 21/22 season was around 10.000) is beyond embarrasing.
People do this all the time because most ppl won't look it up
He was talking about Brondby
@@dutz2116 no he wasn't.
I honestly thought when Newcastle got took over and Howe came in dunno why i really thought we'd of signed him on a free.
Hope he finds a club in England like
Newcastle can afford young in-form players they are not going to buy an injury prone 30 year old after resigning Carrol.
Welcome back Jack!
Newcastle!
Just pack it in now jack. Jeeez! Also He sounds exactly the same as the talksport producer. Can't rember his name 🤣
I only saw brief highlights but the pitches over there looked awful. And did he say the club he played for were a big club?? So big that most people outside of Denmark have never heard of them? With a tiny ground. I think he'd do well at Derby though.
No AGF is not a big club. That’s why they signed him. They gave him a chance to prove himself, but his performance was underwhelming! I doubt they will sign him again.
The way he talks gives a hint, he is not saying that he wants to go back, before AGF says they want him back.
I think his future is in coaching.
Most people have heard of AGF... You're just clueless
@@arsenalfanrichi The world famous Danish league that everyone watches eh?
I am 45 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns
I recommend to pick up and read a few books. Peter Lynch is where I was recommended to start. Learn different strategies so that you might develop your own
Shout me I’ll sort it for you melanie
Good luck for the future Jack
Live long live large jacky boy
Is it just me or does Jack Wilshere just scream ENTITLEMENT
Honestly he screams 'crushed by life'. He'll want to coach after retirement.
This is so painful
“The manager was norwegian” David Nielsen is danish, not norwegian 😅
Can you imagine what a conversation between Wiltshire and Kane would be like?
It's actually true, they played 14 games since he joined and didn't win one.
Jack should look into retiring and coaching. Get his coach badges whilst he’s young and attempt to have a long and successful career in management
Someone tell jack to lean back from the mic. 🤣🤣
He wud get injured in 10min with the intensity of the Premier league now
Wilshere reminds me of Shaw from Fast & Furious 6. Not Jason Statham the other one (obviously)
Luke Evans. I see it a tiny bit
World class EPL player in shock realization that footballers try in other leagues
Well Jack was another hyped English player.
IF his attitude has mellowed, would take him at Forest. Look at how Cooper has revitalised Colback...could be an asset if the wages and attitude are on point
Wilshere got offered a contract by Spurs to return to the premier league but turned it down. :)
Surely he's gd enough to go rangers or Celtic
Nah I don’t think so Celtic are in champions league this year and rangers got europa league final , don’t think he’s anywhere near that standard anymore unfortunately
What, Jack? The manager of AGF wasn't norwegian - he has danish. The sporting direction is norwegian. 🤣
Might seem a daft suggestion but if he is done playing I think he should come back to arsenal and manage the u23’s keep him at the club he loves the job position is open and he can pass on his knowledge. Shame because I really think he had all the talent to be one of England’s all time greats. He was every bit as good as foden if not better but his career was ruined
Pass on knowledge about not playing
In the middle of Aarstreet?
The manager is Norwegian. Hahaha. David nielsen is danish.
Jack seems to normal to be big shot "elite" sportsman.
You know what I feel sick about what's going on with Jack, Brentford gave a six month deal to Eriksson after a heart problem but no one will give Jack time of day ??
he smokes, and gives the impression that he isn't bothered, can't blame the clubs, always a fan of his awesome plays, once in 2011 he was the ultimate future
Why? Eriksen was at the peak of his game when he had his incident. He’s clearly still got it as proven by his Brentford stint. Jack has been bang average for a while. I wish him the best but clubs shouldn’t be obligated to give contracts to anyone based on them being decent nearly a decade ago.
He's been useless for years, why would anyone give him the time of day?
Work ethic and desire....that's the difference dear John boy
He's a star of his national team and was playing for Inter Milan,
It’s not bizarre. He was finished at 24. Absolutely garbage at West Ham
Would be a good move to play in Glasgow for Celtic or rangers massive crowds win trophies and play in Europe and great atmosphere's and great city (won't make as much money but would play for passionate fans)
Mr Glass part 2 was up at Rangers ffs his record isn't anywhere as bad as Wheelchairs keep those has beens down south where they belong.
Hibs or hearts at this rate
Lamela curse is no joke RIP
Too much of a risk for any decent club to take a punt on.
Jack I thought you retired against Iceland !
Plays left behind at Aldi now.
Poor craic that “beggars can’t be choosers” line attacking someone clearly low on confidence, admitted to being lonely away from his family.
Do find it crazy he hasn’t been offered something over here. I’d 100% take him at arsenal
Emotionaaaaaal damage
Big up Jack Forever an Arsenal man ❤️
Just enjoy your football mate, stay fit and healthy, and who knows. And if it doesn't work out .. never forget how you went toe to toe with Barca back in the day. Not many can say that, given who was in their midfield
You are great Jack and you have unfinished business in AGF! Please renew your contract.
Jack Wilshere To Fulham 🤷🏽♂️ Come Back To England Man
He should just retire, he barely played for Aarhus.
He almost played every minute and I watched all the games. What are you talking about?
People can say injuries ruined him all they want but the truth is he definitely had the talent but him off the pitch just like Rooney caused them to always decline really early. People slate Ronaldo but he's the one player footballer's should follow if they want to be great
So all the " Ronaldo is the problem" don't exist?
David Nielsen (manager) Norwegian?? Come on Jack you should know better dude. David is as Danish as it gets..
You clearly have deaf ears, he said one of the coaches is English, not the manager
@@free_wifihesinnocent5553 You clearly have reading problems he said that the manager was Norwegian when he's danish.
@@free_wifihesinnocent5553 you've had a shocker man 😂🤡
His son plays for Norway. Maybe Jack heard that somehow who knows ;)
No he is not. He is not ethnic Danish. His father is from Congo.
Sunderland
Darren Bent thinking a CDM is a 'number 4' 🙄
It is / has been in England . My Technical director in playing 4:3:3 with the 4 being the deep lying playmaker … like a busquets not a CDM defensive midfielder. Now coaching some coaches say 4 some say 6… Depends who they’ve been educated by
For me a 5 and 6 are centre backs in England. 4 is the defensive midfielder and the 8 the box to box type.
Doesn't surprise me really. Hodgson always had an unnatural obsession with Wilshere. Taking him to Euro '16 after making 3 appearances all season was my personal favourite Roy n Jack moment.
Jack was incredible for England, show some respect.
And then he had a right pathetic little tantrum when he didn’t get selected for the 2018 World Cup!! Guys a joke
@@burgey9662 just admit you're a spurs fan
@@BigDome1 well I’m not so what now?
@@burgey9662 I guess you want me to ask you who you support
Growing up as an Arsenal Fan, JW was my fav ever player and seeing him this low hurts…
Just for men
*WASTE OF SPACE*
How can he not be playing champ or league 1 at least?? Or is he asking for too much dough 🤷🏻♂️
Made a fortune at Arsenal & West Ham so surely it’s not down to money alone
Reckon he's on about 10k a week now, mad how things change
how much are you on a week.?
@@johnwoods2775 250k
He can easily play in the Prem, problem is he can’t run anymore & perpetually injured, he’s a top quality player, its a joke how clubs in the Prem have turned their back on him.
Jack should lower his wage demands and work his way back into football like Eriksen, he will never lose his touch & vision.
He's the most overrated player of his generation
Please don’t compare him to Eriksen ‼️
There are four other top leagues in Europe he can go to. I'm guessing none wanted him.
Good old Jack Wheelchair, stole a living as a "footballer".
You think he wouldn't rather have played??
Massively original, nuanced and insightful comment.
Why on earth have they brought him back
Come on ffs, a fit JW can at least play in a decent Champs team.
Such a shame to see someone with so much talent wasted
what happens when you are so frail not even championship clubs want to chance it not his fault but when he was realeased from pay per play contract he should of hung his boots up
Jack Wilshere = binman... #COYS
Jack and Benty are great :)
Why can’t he get a English club in premier league or championship
He isn't all that
Hype
Cos he was only good for 7 months of his career
He came to West Ham, did nothing and always injured
I'd have him at Leeds all day long. Class is permanent
He's been through a lot, I hope he finds happiness again, wasn't meant to be
There is a case to be made that Wilshire could be the most over hyped and over rated English player ever ..
Case made by people who are oblivious to the injury problems he had. He had bags and bags of talent and had a lot of great moments, but he never got an extended run... He was never the same after injuring himself for england
Jack seems like a nice lad who just needs more luck with injuries & for someone to believe in him. I find it difficult to understand why there isn't more interest in him. I remember wondering why Everton didn't bring him in when we were desperately bringing central midfielders in this past January. Goldstein & Bent did not cover themselves in glory here. Jack's self-esteem is clearly shot & teasing him about his prospects on national radio is a disgrace.
Guy is just so uninterested and boring, why would anyone want to sign him, terrible attitude.
Enthusiastic
Jacks boring! Won’t bother on Thursdays now
Played at the highest level all of his career....he never played lol
Ouch, A little unfair perhaps.
He’s finished ✨ let him retire already
He was another English hyped player from the scandalous media they got!!
He’s always been a good player at best , but not a great player
👏🏼
Good luck on him in his future retirement
Nah bro, Jack was special in midfield. He could of reached the heights if the injuries wasn’t so prominent. Players talk on him in that manner.
@Jock Odd Sock i Dont get your point. It wasn’t hype, it was facts.
