  • The infamous ALL motor GT has TEMPORARILY got a turbo. We removed the 4efe n/a engine and replaced it with a 5e, a better clutch and a locked diff gerbox.

    what's the easiest way to get like 100-110hp to the wheels from a 4EFE? if it's really easier to do an engine swap like the internet claims, does my G162 transaxle mate to a 2ZZ? Because I really love my 6 speed. Any tips appreciated, cheers from Iceland.

    • @MattBerrymotorsport

    Hi Matt! Question: Does the 4efe oil pump + crankshaft sensor, the 4efe transformer work with the 5efe?

    • @MattBerrymotorsport
      @MattBerrymotorsport  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi do you mean distributor instead of crank sensor? 4efe don't have those...
      Only the second gen 5efe came out with cam and crank sensors which also use coil packs instead of distributor...
      The oil pumps are also different... some have the groove for the oil pump on the engine block and some are on the oil pump..
      As long as you figure that out you can use oil pumps from different e series engines

    How do you have 4 coil packs on your 5e-fe?? I have an american version 1997 Toyota paseo 4 speed automatic and I don't understand how you have 4 coil packs instead of a wasted spark plug design like the amercian kind. Are they different in certain countries and would I be able to do a conversion to gain hp?? Also I'd like to convert my 5e-fe to an ITB setup how would I go about it??

    • @MattBerrymotorsport
      @MattBerrymotorsport  Před 2 lety

      Cannot be done on stock ecu, you need aftermarket one with 4 x ignition outputs.
      You wont gain any power, it just supplies a better spark to burn the extra air and fuel thats all.
