The way Casey talks about David is gross. Completely disconnected from the fact the guy is a total psychopath. David wasn’t the centre of his content, he was puppeteer holding the camera and bag of money in front of his “friends”. Release the documentary Casey!
The documentary was celebratingDavid, then things changed because all of the scandals. That's why it has not been released. I've read people commenting that the documentary is gross because David was saying that it was the victims fault etc. not sure the truth of that though

love casey but pretty weird to hear him say "i had to tell the truth" and talk about journalistic integrity in reference to a documentary that he hasn't put out yet has now clarified he can easily put out on his own youtube channel whenever he wants. if having their words speak for themselves and the truth is so important to be known, just put it out there.

I think it’s far more weird to have issue with Casey’s opinion of David…given Casey actually knows David very very well, and made an entire documentary about David (that was critical of David).
You can love someone as a whole, and still be critical of mistakes they’ve made in their past.
You guys only know these people through the meticulously edited tiny snippets of their lives you actually see.
You only know them as a well as a headline about them…but Casey knows the dude personally for like 8 years. It’s not that hard to see how Casey would have a better judgement of David than anyone in a CZcams comment section would.

Casey is an artist, from an artist and a filmmakers point of view David was brilliant. His vídeos would get 20+ million views and crazy interactions, he was basically a self-made superstar. That takes some kind of brilliance
David was a brilliant editor and story teller. Was very innovative. But not as a human being. Lot of people in Hollywood are brilliant at their jobs, but not as human beings.

I grew up being told I was a failure at running by every PE teacher I've ever had (just bc I couldn't run an 11min mile which is insane???) so I was a "I can't run, I hate running" person... until 2020 when my ex roommate asked if I wanted to run a 5K with her. I humored her and did a couch to 5K program and was EXTREMELY surprised when I could do 10 second intervals! I thought I'd die if I ran even 2 steps but I was able to do 10 seconds of slow shuffle running, which was enough of an accomplishment for me to keep going.
Unfortunately I didn't finish the plan since we moved away from each other and didn't end up doing the 5K so I stopped running for a while.
Cut to now, I decided to pick it back up when I was inspired by Cody Ko's training videos, and I've done 2 5Ks this year and signed up for another in January! My next goal is to do a half marathon next January.
I don't have that big of a success story (yet) but I went from being a "I can't run no matter what" and "I will die if I run" person to being someone who frequently gets runners highs and could run everyday if I could! Anything is possible!
FYI 'Something about Casey implying that the "fun film about his friend David" being "ruined" by the SA allegations and Jeff's accident is really gross. Also Casey saying that he still loves David to Jeff's face is like wtf.'

Its pretty clear that David’s podcast didn’t work because he had to show his true self & coming out from behind the camera opened him to criticism he couldn’t deal with. Jeff, my husband and I decided last minute to run a 40 mile marathon when we lived in Italy and I will never forget it. It will always be something I'm so proud of!! You never know how far you can push yourself!!
Also I would run occasionally (prior Army) but was NOT an avid runner when I did this!! If you got the heart, go for it!!!
