At this point he has a moral obligation to release the movie. He says he’s not protecting David but that’s exactly what he’s doing. Either that or he’s waiting for the biggest paycheck he can get from it

Casey is a legend in the game and I liked watching his Vlogs when he was more active. The fascination that Casey has for David Dohbrik is almost nauseating. Dude is in his 40’s talking about a kid like he cured cancer, but reality he was a cancer and affected some peoples lives in such negative way. There are so many examples of David taking it to far. I think if Jeff had died then maybe Casey would have a different perspective on how dire the situation really was.
At this point even if Jeff died Casey would have still spoke of dobrik like this lol

Casey is trying to find other justifications to why no one is willing to distribute his film. If he genuinely did not want to release the film he wouldn’t have “very recently” considered that distribution offer.
He just contradicted himself the entire time. I think Casey is a little too out of touch right now.
Casey side stepped an opinion & real answer regarding how DD inexcusably nearly killed our beloved Jeff Wittek.

Nobody knew who Jeff was until he joined the squad.

This is probably a roll out for his documentary to try and pump up the anticipation!
From what I take away: Casey initially separates himself as the story teller from the friend and is ok to show the film to select people, but then when a distribution deal falls through (and more than likely, additional, compelling forces such as reactions to Dobrik's sketchy behaviour begin to reveal) he re-thinks and decides he cannot actually separate himself from being the friend to being the story teller?
Perhaps Casey isn't so suited to making CZcams videos as we all thought he was?

What a poor attempt at a natural way of bringing it up 😂 this was def all pre planned conversation
The day jeff got hurt, everyone is to blame.. not a single one of the 20 something people on the scene thought to have a more secure and safer way of swinging from the arm of the excavator.. and it's on record where jeff says something along the lines of "man we have been here for 4 hours taking selfies and cute videos, we came here to do something badass." and proceeded to up the ante and ended up getting hurt..
tldr; the only thing people cared about on the day of the accident, was clout and having *fun* if even 4 of them cared about injuries, it could have been prevented..

Along with everything he said I think Casey also wanted relevance like he used to by having David dobriks name in his mouth as he made this documentary.
David Dobrik knew what he wanted and knew how to get it at any cost. He knew exactly what he was doing the entire time and is pissed off because it stopped.
No one bought it so he needs to come up with a reason why. The best thing to say is it's his own personal feelings about David.

When it comes to the Jeff injury, why is no one comparing it to Jackass?? To me it's the same example. A group of friends making dangerous stunts for entertainment. Yet when Jackass members got hurt, no one was canceling them. They knew what they were in on. All the guys in the vlog squad knew what they were in on.
