O Jesus, speak a word for Us that they may be made Clean! ….. ‘O you Seekers of Truth! I have come to manifest the Christ to men. Bear witness to the Truth I speak, and rebuke the scribes, the priests, and doctors of the Law - they know not anything. That is why you do not know the Christ! Behold the Light and witness for yourself, and you shall know the Truth! If John is not the Christ, whom Allah Promised to reveal to men, will he do greater works, as does this man? He is the Messiah of whom all Us Prophets said would come!
Bear witness to the Truth I speak! If you believe me not, you will dwell in Darkness. From where did he get his Wisdom? You scorn it at your Peril! He beholds Allah at every moment, every day. He must do, and does, the Will of Allah! False Prophets come and go; they claim to know the Way, but they do not know Allah's Word! They say that John is dead; listen not to what they say! John is Alive, and John's words are not the words of one Obsessed; these are the words We received from Allah!’ …..
All you who still have doubts! Did We not say unto you: ‘At the mouth of two or three Witnesses, shall every matter be established?’ ….. Blessed are your ears if you Hear these things! In the age that has just passed, many desired to hear and see and know these words. This is an Age which Allah has Blessed. Recognize and give Salutation to Him!
I was the last on watch, and by the blessings of the Lord, I excelled! I am indeed a Messenger of Allah, whom Allah sent to pave the Way! Now the Christ has come. Do you understand? O you who have followed me, now be followers of John! Deceive not yourselves, it is my time to depart - Truly he must follow me! He shall shine forth as a Sun of Knowledge, to destroy the darkness and illusions in this world! Hear it and know it for your good!
O you who harbor Doubts! Take hold of this Book with might. Hearken to what is said herein, and it shall serve as Spiritual Food for you! In what has the Messenger done amiss? It is written herein that Allah by His Word, Created All Things! What is it he declares? It is written herein that Allah has no needs; that He eats not, sleeps not, and suffers not! O you who are Stubborn and Hard-headed! I have told you this before and will tell you again, for the constant dropping of water wears away the hardest stone: ‘Now let this be your Book wherein to study Paradise!’ ….. He teaches not as do the Scribes, but as a man who knows, and has Authority to speak from Allah, Who also caused me to speak! I tell you, whatever the Messenger gives you accept it, and whatever he forbids you, forbear it! Thus Allah Wills and Commands!”

Adnan tried to make his points clear when the debate got heated but james started saying, "Adnan you can't even read those notes, let alone understand it," and in the debate about bible he began bragging in the middle of the debate, "I have been talking about these concepts for years, teaching them to students and writing famous books about it." Adnan never starts bragging, "Look all these people who admit I am a historian, look at my degrees in history."

This was a beautiful debate.
in my humble opinion James not only failed to stay on the topic at hand but also failed to produce evidence-based from the bible of the Trinity. Instead he went almost into preacher mode which a lot of these debates turn into by the Christian brother(s). It turns into passive insults and switches of subjects by the christian brother(s) while the Muslim(s) remains due course.
I would love to watch and or hear an honest debate about the topic (Trinity) without hitting a folk on the road (meaning no changing of the topic)

in the min 40:55 James quote Thomas saying "My Lord and my God" (John 20:28)
Now for you saying "Thomas, spoke to him about his unbelief, and Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God” John 20:28"
The context of the verse talks about an unbelieving Thomas being surprised when Jesus offers him the evidence.
John 20:28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Notice the exclamation at the end of "My God," it means he was surprised and astonished.
We use such exclamations if we encountered something of a sudden that we did not expect. I hear the people around me using "my God" exclamations every day while talking to people. Does this mean they are God?
Let us read the next verse
John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
If John wants to say that Thomas testify Jesus is God, then how he did see Jesus as God and lived? The scripture teaches us that nobody can see God and live.
Thomas was not claiming that Jesus was (1) his God and (2) his Lord. If he did then the church and the disciples would have stamped him as a heretic right there and then because they are living the LAW which asserts that there is One God.
Deuteronomy 4:35,39 - Unto thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. (39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
Deuteronomy32:39 - See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
Isaiah 43:11 "I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me.

1. Jesus says THE FATHER
2. Jesus tells Mary who is THE FATHER by saying MY FATHER AND YOUR FATHER
3. Jesus tells us who is MY FATHER AND YOUR FATHER by saying HE IS MY GOD AND YOUR GOD
(Jesus' God and Mary's God) THE SAME GOD
Here we find Jesus telling us that THE FATHER IS HIS GOD which is the God of all of us.
DO YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE THOMAS OR JESUS?
How about Revelation 3:2 and Revelation 3:12 where Jesus after more than 70 years in heaven keeps calling the Father MY GOD?

You mean James EVADES questions with slick retorts and not sticking to the subject. He cried about Muslims not treating the Bible like they treat the Quran. And how Bible Scholars are not Christians and presenting the Bible in an unfavorable light. And then stretched the meaning of Bible Verses to try and present them as representing the Trinity when they weren't.
I now this is not the subject but I've been asking this question to Christians without a satisfactory answer, maybe you might have one.

You have to stretch, cherry-pick, distort, or just plain ignore passages in the Bible if you are to contend that it teaches that Jesus is not God. Which is exactly the point James White is making.
If you like I can provide plenty of information which would show the Qur'an in distinctly less than favourable light. But I'm guessing that wouldn't achieve much at this stage.
You will have to be more specific about Jesus "lying" to Pilate. Are you referring to John 19:11?

It seems you must be a member of this Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church. Which means that you don't even have a Uniform Theological Faith. As long as someone says they Believe in Jesus, such as Muslims do then we can be a part of this same Church with our ideas of Jesus NOT being God. I'm sure that they will not change their open door policy just so they can keep Muslims out. And you do know how Muslims will be interjecting every time their Preaching goes contrary to Muslim Beliefs.

@@Toronado2 Not sure you understood me correctly. I quoted a leading unitarian who admitted that the Bible teaches Trinitarian doctrine. Not just that, he admits that in order to make it do otherwise you have to resort to devious methods.

James' approach to that answer was around the lines of "let the book speak to you and it will reveal the Trinity", which isn't a satisfactory answer. As far as I can recall, Adnan had only a single question: "in the entire bible, where is the concept of the trinity that White believes in (three co-equal, co-eternal persons) espoused?". White never answered the question. Aside from repeatedly quoting verses which he interpreted to mean ascribing divinity to the son and the holy spirit, he did almost nothing else. But that is not answering the question, is it? Even if we would grant him that those verses mean what he wants them to mean, it still leaves a gaping hole: "the relationship between them is not defined". It could be surbodinatist or of some other type. Adnan was clever enough to push James onhow he could scripturally prove equality between the father and the holy spirit. James failed to. To me, the debate was done when Adnan claimed and somehow managed to prove that no one before the Nicea thought of trinity as White believes it today. Again, from White, it was only more quote from scripture and an attempt to interprete them.
If James were making a presentation at some Sunday school, I would say he did a good job. Unfortunately, this was not Sunday school. Being eloquent and employing superb rhetoric does not replace sound argumentation in a debate.

The Arabic word Caliph comes from the Arabic word khalifa "خليفة", meaning "successor" or "next in line." Abu Baker was the first leader of Muslims after the Prophet Muhammad's death and Uthman Ibn Affan was the third leader of Muslims.
*In the life of the Prophet Muhammad*
Allah granted the Prophet Muhammad the power to memorize the verses He revealed to him. Immediately, the Prophet under his supervision gathered his scribes and orally dictated the verses he just received to them to be written on whatever writing material that was available at that time. Since the Prophet Muhammad was illiterate, he directed his scribes to read back to him what they wrote to avoid writing other than what he received from God.

The Quran at the time of the prophet was preserved in two places:
1- The written pages.

Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan, companion of Prophet Muhammad, warned Uthman bin Affan about the future dilemma of having the Quran written in different dialects. Uthman bin Affan acknowledged the dilemma of Muslims starting to fight about in which dialect the Quran should be recited. Uthman ordered the collection of all the written copies of the Quran. He burned all of them and preserved only the Prophet Muhammad's Qurishy tribe dialect copy of the Quran. Afterward, he assigned scribes to write many copies of the Prophet Muhammad's Qurishy tribe dialect copy of the Quran and redistribute it to all tribes.
With Allah’s help and guidance to Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan and Uthman bin Affan, the Quran we have today, wherever you go, is the same original Arabic Quran that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad in the Quraysh dialect.

The problem with Christianity is that they bring so many doctrines that are simply not present in the Bible, for example no where in the Bible does it say that son, Holy Spirit and the father are ONE, no where in the Bible it says that the son being a human is limited but out of the human body is unlimited but after son death he gained the body back again and became all knowing and we can literally go on with so many doctrines that cannot be backed up by the Bible. Then you have some doctrines contradicting the old testament, such as the original sin. Also the example that was shown by James White of the Al Quran being different, firstly he never verified the meaning of what was added and he himself cannot read Arabic, plus yes human being do mistakes when writing the Al Quran, however Muslims are able to recognise that mistake straight away due to many have memorised the Al Quran and can also compare it to the many first generation of Al Quran written during the time of Muhammad (SAW) or Uthman (RA), which then Muslims are able to scrap or remove that Al Quran that has that mistake, hence you cannot find that mistake in the Al Quran after or before that period of that Al Quran that has the mistake. The Christians have firstly got the problem with discovering corruption made in the Bible when comparing from the 4th century scripture, which the corruption was discovered in the 15th century some even in the 18th century, and then Christians cannot be sure what further corruption there is in the Bible since they don't have any manuscript before the 4th century, while Muslims have manuscript from the time of Muhammad may peace be upon him that is exactly the same as the Al Quran that we have now. Also the Christians are not able to show that the Bible is word of God since the authors were anonymous and written many years after Jesus and in a language that Jesus never spoke in. Muslims know that the Al Quran came directly from Muhammad may peace be upon him mouth from historical evidences, hence Muslims just need to verify that Muhammad may peace be upon him was telling the truth that these are the words of God send by God the Almighty, which Muslims have managed to prove that through prophecies that came true, through miracles of the Al Quran and the fact that Muhammad (SAW) preached what all prophets preached, and most importantly we have the history of the life of Muhammad (SAW) to test whether Muhammad (SAW) was telling the truth. While Christianity cannot verify or proof whether the anonymous authors were telling the truth or were they just writing fiction of the Bible, and where they got their sources from, plus which Church father (which none believed in the Trinity) was correct when each Church father accepted or rejected different Gospels.

In Acts 5:4 Peter is telling Ananias you have lied to the buyer of his property (A HUMAN BEING) and at the same time, Ananias lied to God.

• If Peter believed the Holy Spirit is God, why he did not mention this in his writing?
• Why none of the earlier Gospels did mention the divinity of the Holy Spirit?

This is one of the most pathetic attempts to misinterpret the Bible that I have seen.
The meaning of the verse is clear. Peter is referring to himself as the human being there and pointing out that Annanias has actually lied to the God,the Holy Spirit.
If you read these portion, you will find that Annanias did not lie to the owner of the property. Totally pathetic.

Read again what is under the control of God CAN NOT BE GOD because it takes the order from God what to do and other are many examples in your Bible where the holy spirit is controlled what to do by the Father. (the Father = God read John 20:17)
Here are some verses where the Father controls the holy spirit and what to do, for example:

in the OT, notice how God says Besides Me, there is no God and Trinity teaches The Father is God + the son is God + the holy spirit is God (# GODS BESIDE EACH OTHER) it is contradicting God saying "Besides Me there is no God"
Isaiah 44:6 "Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.

If Jesus is God, WHY does he direct people to worship the Father, why does he ignore worshiping the Holy Spirit and himself?

God SENT his holy spirit to enable the transfer of Jesus' life force from an angel into a human form (Philippians 2:7).
If the holy spirit was God, it would state that God CAME as the holy spirit.
(Galatians 4:4) But when the full limit of the time arrived, God SENT HIS SON, who was born of a woman and who was under law,
God can only SEND an angel as there are only angels WITH him in heaven.
Paul shows that Jesus was CHOSEN from among the angels.
'To which of the angels did God say....' - Hebrews 1:5,13.
Now we can understand why God identifies Jesus as his SON (Matthew 3:17). Never as HIMSELF.
