👁👄👁 same. Ive literally been blocked by all the shitty people i sorrounded myself with and i think that says alot about how shitty of a person i probably am.
I have all of them but the sixth and seventh traits.
You guys are aware you can change that?
It's sad to think these people learned to act like this somewhere else, and very often they were neglected or abused physically and mentally too but learned to mirror this as a defense mechanism, to fight back. But they were powerless against the people that hurt them, so they begin to hurt other people to feel like they have any kind of power.
They learn to shift the blame to everyone else for whatever happens to them and for their own mistakes. All but attack their problems from the source or accept they did wrong because they're too afraid of it.
It all becomes so deeply rooted in their being that they can never grow out of it and just keep on hurting other people throughout their lives. And that's how we end up with self-entitled parents, power-tripping teachers and bosses, bullies, and many other terrible people out there.
And the saddest part is, these people with evil hearts are the ones who become those abusive parents and treat their children as a way to have the power they didn't have earlier in their lives. They abuse them physically and psychologically as their parents did to them when they were younger. And then, these children often become evil-hearted people too and then begin to hurt other people.
It's like a chain that just keeps on and on.
If you were, or are, a victim of the abuse of these people but chose to break the chain and to become a better person than they could ever be, then I want you to know that you are stronger than you could ever imagine and you have all the right to be proud of yourself.
And if you were one of these abusive people but realized how much damage you were doing and decided you wanted to change and become a better person, then pat yourself on the back, because you're an exception. Many other people wouldn't even begin to care about the damage they're doing to everyone around them.

@@floofypastel686 It's not always, and that's why made sure to say "Often" instead of "Always". The acts of these people are inexcusable. For example, no matter how much Hitler suffered in his youth, he's still that genocidal bastard that brought pain and suffering upon millions of people.
Not everyone tries to be different from the people that hurt them like you, your brother and your siblings did, and though the abuse might not have been as terrible, it still harms, and that harm is long-lasting. But these people won't try to do something for themselves, won't try to better themselves, and instead will do their best to share their misery with everyone else and pin the blame of all their mistakes on other people. That's why we have power-tripping teachers and bosses, abusive parents, bullies, among other people.
Another thing I meant, is that just like this, the chain keeps going on, and on, and I feel powerless because I know it and I can't do anything to help break it.
That being said, I'm very, very sorry to hear that and I know how terrible it is. I'm glad you and your generation of your family broke with that chain and are seeking to become better people than those before you ever could, and I completely understand if what I commented came out as an insensitive bastard.

It's just that it's infuriating and painful to see people like that girl in Mark Rober's third glitter bomb video, where a girl tells a child: "It's okay for us to steal this package because everyone else would've done it", and then hear the child say: "It feels good. Stealing."
Everyone was a child like that one, and most of us if not all had a person like that girl trying to influence us to act like that

After you let it play in your memory and deal with how it made you feel, don't let your brain rewind and push guilt on you. It's over, you made it and a better life is calling to you. :)

Sounds like me for some reason... Good thing, I temper myself and stopped on actively manipulating others(I do sometimes do it unconciously, I blame instincs). I can never curb my true personality tho... I'm still quite a demon but not that much agressive. I learned to just internalize many things to be quite tame. I still can't feel anything for people tho, and that's the problem. 😂
well, if they make it this clear that they're evil, it's easier to avoid them and not let them hurt you, but if they hide it well and manipulate you by creating a good opinion of them in your mind and tell you exactly what you want to hear - this is scary.
They do tend to show their true colors of you do something they don't like though.

The problem with this is that a lot of narcissists and ‘evil’ people are incredibly good at luring you in and manipulating/gaslighting you into thinking they are the best person you could possibly have in your life. By the time you finally realise how fucking worthless and low they make you feel, it’s already too late and escaping is almost impossible. Once you’re finally rid of them, it’s completely liberating at first, however the mental scars and the hand print they left on your life are so prominent that you still feel trapped and haunted by the way they treated you. It’s been almost 2 years since she left and she’s still in my dreams being horrible to me. It takes a lot of healing and personal growth and some really good friends to finally be able to let go of that pain and try to move on.

I actually believe there is no such thing as an evil heart. We are simply more or less sick. Our own pain can make us blind to other people and we can sometimes develop cruel behaviour to deal with our own emotions. It's not ok but it's not that we are plainly bad people. At least that is what I find to be the truth to me.

Hmm, well when I'm in my "apathetic state" I guess I have an evil heart?
I don't feel remorse when in that "disassocitive" state, but once I come out of it I start feeling guilty.
Cptsd got me fucked up, I'm trying pretty hard to be normal though. Consequences catch up to everyone, no matter if you try to be bad in secret and hide it.
My motivation is to have a normal adulthood, and that's motivation enough for me to try and act as empathetic as i used to be before my trauma. If the me before my trauma even still exists.

These people do NOT have "Evil Hearts". Knock it off. They are ill- not inherently evil villains. Misery loves company, looks for it and perpetuates it. Of course its wise to be able identify this in others, theres no reason to live in a toxic atmosphere/partnership. But villainizing these people has GOT to go. It continues the cycle of pain.

Yes, I think it's possible to be both but, remember, guilt is pretty close to nothing without action. At least, that's the way I think (Although I'm pretty sure I don't apply this in real life).

One big thing I always ask myself.. I mean I dont care about other people's suffering and even sometimes find joy in it. But I still am able to sympathise with anyone I want.

I don't know a lot about this stuff but one thing that can help you a lil bit is writing. You should write it down and let it all out. Sometimes it just happens when you're holding a lot of it in and you just want to get rid of it but you don't know how, so you get it out but in the wrong way and then when you're kinda exhausted (*idk in what way to put this*) you reflect on it, Acc to me,.

Its not exactly what I hoped to find. I thought of a term for this state of mind.. I mean I do fall in some areas of psychopathy, sadism and machiavellianism. But then again, I empathise with people, understand what others feel, can set myself in other people's situation yada yada.
I read something that empathy is more like a "switch" and that psychopaths _do_ feel how others feel but simply dont care.
I mean it kinda explains my situation.. but on the other hand it just is an half-answer. I mean, am I a psychopath now? Or does this mean I am some kind of hybrid? That just picks and chooses to be what I want in any given situation?

It’s probably a social construct that stems from media, tv shows, portrayal of crimes eg is someone evil for taking someone’s life? It might also depend on upbringing and individual beliefs

Sadly, I know someone with these traits, and he is my friend. I wish I could just wish I could stop being friends with him and move on but I see him in class everyday and I am afraid that he knows a secret of mine that he could tell everyone. And I want him to change because I still care about him and not become a hateful person in the future

here where I live you have the perfect example those kind of people are for thousands in my building and around my neighborhood some of them are really heartless savages extremely cruel , sadistic and selfish here finding someone with good heart is like finding a needle in a haystack . but one thing I know even when evil can destroy a life they never prevail and one day they to have to die and they will die miserable like they are.

I don't like these new videos that Psych2Go are putting out. I feel that their too "labelling". Humans are not perfect and I know there are toxic people out there. But there are also humans who have made mistakes. And this video about evil hearts and what not just seems like we're all either good or evil. As if there is no in between, and that's bothering me. I want videos about how humans make mistakes, how we can be toxic (but not always and not to everyone), and how we can heal and learn from our mistakes. We are not perfect; and I think when we say other people are evil and labelling them we are dehumanising them (even if they deserve it). They are human, and they're simply choosing or on the wrong path... the same way an "evil" person can eventually become better... "good" people can also become worse. I would like videos about the good, the bad, and the ugly side of ALL humans and not just "the evil and toxic" ones.

I never liked the term "evil" or "evil heart", they maybe should have called it "sociopathy" or "lacking empathy".
I sort of agree with you, but when going trough the comment section I realized how many people just identified with these traits and some actually call for help, realizing something is wrong with them, so it actually serving a good purpose. I do agree we need to focus on solution, anyone can heal if they want to.

I'm a 17 year old and i really wonder why my generation is suffering "mental health". I'm really sad to be part of a generation of glass who cry at everything mean said to them. My generation cant take a joke. Mental health is a first world problem just like having trouble picking out the clothes you wear. What happened to my generation??
mental health has been a thing since forever. it wasn’t till NOW that people are actually speaking up about it because 20 years ago if you showed signs of mental illness you’d be sent away and harmed. mental health is certainly not a first world problem. as i said before it wasn’t till now that we began to share our experiences. i’m sorry that you feel the need to say that something fuck up our generation just because we want everyone to be treated well and for people to get the care that they need.

People who experience other problems in life like poverty just like what i've gone through here in the philippines for most of my life have other things to worry about. People who are depressed are just making problems for themselves and for some stupid reason they suicide for it. I dont know what happens in america but u got a roof over ur head and food on the table. I srsly dont know how this is a serious issue, no one is messing with u but urself. @@br3nt368 again it’s not just in america. in other places people don’t have the freedom to express their mental state unlike here in the states. that’s why we’re so vocal about it. people with depression don’t make up their problems and for you to say that is extremely ignorant. many people, including myself suffer greatly from depression and it’s a pain to wake up everyday knowing that i live with in illness that can’t be fixed not matter how much effort is put into trying to be better. yes i have a roof over my head as well as clothes and food but that doesn’t mean that my issues aren’t valid. you can’t assume everyone with basic needs will be happy and not suffer from any mental illness. and again you saying suicide is a stupid choice that many ill people make is ignorant. suicides happen when someone is at their lowest and can’t seem to find help no matter how hard they try. personally i feel if you haven’t experienced anything with your mental health being harmed you can’t say if suicide is stupid or say anything negative to do with their heath. you won’t understand what they are going though until you go through it.
As a Christian I believe that all people have good in them and that no one is born a bad person.Evil people exist but they can always find the right path and change.I’m not talking about seriously mentally disturbed people of course.The first step to change your heart is to realize how much it affects you and others.Self realization is the first step to get out of the darkness and enter the light. ❤️✨Great video though as always💖

That’s partially true but not altogether true. Since you are a Christian I’m sure you’re familiar with the Bible, which is chock full of people who are indeed lost, malicious, foolhardy, insensitive, wrathful, prideful, lustful and yes even straight up evil. They also do things in evil’s name. Either this is solely a teaching tool or perhaps some people are just rotten apples (pardon the pun). Believing that everybody is equal parts good and evil is nice but it doesn’t fully explain people’s actions, especially if you believe God gave everyone free will. If that is true, then it would stand to be considered that good people are more likely to do good and evil people evil. Your viewpoint is welcome.
@@JD37 That’s a good point.I’m orthodox and our dogma along with the Bible and Jesus’s teachings believe that all people are created equally good by God and that evil people get influenced by the devil later in life.It’s their responsibility to be saved and follow the light.We also believe that even if we (good people) can’t help the (evil ones) we can always pray for them or spread the gospel.I would like to leave a few of Jesus’s words that perfectly describe the way we must behave while being aware that evil exists and that is temporary in almost all people: “Love your enemies,
