When you lift independent suspension, you actually decrease body roll and trade that for jacking forces.
You could ise spring rubbers in the rear.
A have a 3 inch lift on my Subaru Outback and I Awesome have a Hitch gate solo and a winch I love my Subaru and I like seeing Other people have sun with their car to.
Love the snow driving video. Texas does not see snow often, mostly sleet & freezing rain.

Move your spare tyre to the roof and add stiffer springs to the rear end. Done ...
I have same sticker decal but didn’t put it on crosstrek yet cuz winter
Also don't forget behind it look squating but the wheel passage is smaller compare to the front

Not sure if you still check or answer comments but I've seen you had Toyo OPEN COUNTRY A/T III at one point and BFG TA KO'S which one did you prefer. I have a very similar set up on mine and string to decide which ones to go with. Thanks for any insight.

Hey I own a 2015 XT and looking at getting some tires like those especially during the summer. Do you like them quite a bit for off road? How do they handle in the snow as well? Up in Montana.
I don't have them on my Forester yet, but the KO2 is pretty much *the* standard, benchmark all-terrain tire by which all others are judged right now. It's well known to be civilized on the road, provide excellent off-road traction, and be very good in snow. I may cheap out and go with Kuhmo AT51's because a set in 235/65-17 is $150-$200 cheaper, but you can't beat those BFG's. I had an older version on my Trooper and they were money. Lift+ tires on my 2015 this spring or summer, can't wait! I probably won't go down to 15's because I don't go off-road that much and can't justify the cost. The rims in the vid look great though!
What's the suspension/springs your running?
Did you lose power when accélérating with the lift and the bigger tires?? I plan to do the same to my forester..i have the rims already but havnt decided on a tiré yet..i dont have a ton to spend do you have any suggestions ??
Raise the rear ,like u said we don't buy foresters to be a race car, also would love to see that thing in the mud .

I’m thinking about going with the king springs hoping that it will fix the problem. I have the mr502 wrapped with 235/70/15 but after I installed it, I feel like the suspension is a little bouncy. I was hoping that this springs would solve the problem. I have a baby on the way, do u think this would make it a bit comfortable than stock springs?

How many miles did you have on the car before you lifted it? I just lifted my outback with king springs and one inch spacers. I have camber issues, the car wobbles and now have a more noticeable vibration.....

FreedomSlaves I debated jumping to 30x9.5-15” but I like the on and off road manners of these. If it had a turbo I might think harder on it.

So what did you decide to do with the lift kit as far as the squat in the rear. I’m interested to no the amount of squat vs weight in the rear and how you plan to counter that. I’m curious to no how much squat it would have with the vehicle full of adults? I don’t necessarily want more height, just less squat.
Maybe a little more squat with your peeps in the back, but weight between the wheels don't have nearly as much effect as hanging weight off the back, like a hitch and spare setup. "Saggy butt" 3/8" spacers are pretty affordable and should work with stock hardware, or you can make your own for like $10.
@UMepher... ya, I think what I will eventually do, is a 1 inch spring lift, just to get some more clearance. Then eventually I do want to get a hitch mounted spare tire carrier. Once I get that all done. I’ll check the squat and maybe add a spacer just to the rear to adjust for the squat from the tire carrier. Then when I have a full car load, I’ll take the tire carrier off and then hopefully my adjustment will still be close enough so that the rear end sits close to level.

With a 2" or 3" lift, do you also need longer brakelines? Or just the 6pcs lift kit?
My 2" lift came with new extended brake line brackets. I didn't need new brake lines.

How did you install 15" wheels without interference with calipers
The factory calipers on the 2.5i are more than small enough to fit the 15" rally style wheels.
I have XT and they have larger calipers. Maybe I can get 16"

What’s the difference of using the lift springs to just buying 2 inch spacers?
The standard height King springs only give about 1/2" of lift. The lift spring version adds more height, but the factory struts are limited in how much height can be added via the spring. A spring lift is better, but the availability of the non-standard height springs was little to none at the time I did these mods.
In hindsight I'm not sure I answered your general question. Take 2... in general the lift spacers just give the vehicle more height. They do not give the suspension any better performance or travel. Taller and/or improved springs will give better ride quality and more travel at the risk of potentially overextending the factory strut. With these unibody vehicles there aren't many other options other than these two listed. As opposed to body on frame vehicles like Wranglers, Tacomas, etc the suspension options are great.
Have you taken it on a really windy highway?

My Forester seems to suck pretty bad in windy conditions, even at stock height. It's bad enough already that I can't see a lift making it much worse, haha. You're getting it off the ground a bit more but not drastically so, and the actual surface are of the side isn't increasing.
@@UMepher No complaints here in that aspect. My wider stance with +15mm wheels doesn't hurt.
