- I don't quite have the time to put out a super in-depth guide, but I hope this teaching stream covers a lot of things for you, including how to solve Colosseum waves, gear set ups and any other questions you may have.
My invocation video and preferences are not in here, just in-case in the future they change those, so if you need a guide on that, its uploaded.
I'll also be uploading a whipper friendly budget guide all the way through Colosseum.

For anyone looking to reduce the cost of the setup, using a Bellator with a Serp (Similar range defence) is only a 1.2% dps loss on boss compared to using Torva helm + Ultor, and saves 380m. Thanks for the guide Gno and good luck everyone!
There’s a chance he covers this later but for 11:18 you can also just pray range and run outside shaman’s range to drag it off the back of the stack so it walks closer and then return to the safe area and you can just take an isolated fight

Proof that it can be done even with a few mistakes. Granted I'm still stuck at wave 3 tops since I can't do Leviathan and that if anything is PRACTICE for juggling mantacores on top of everything else. Seeing things like the 1M run seem to prove it's less about gear and more about just god tier borderline bug abuse mastery of the game on par with things like the 3 combat fire cape.
is there a plugin to lower the text height above Sol? Like it's ridiculous how far out you have to be zoomed and i dont play with chat open

Thoughts on swapping the mage cape for magus ring? Same max hit and accuracy, and you get overall better defence from the inferno cape. only thing you lose is +3 mage defence which seems trivial
At 32:30 I had this same problem on wave 10, but the minotaur kept healing the mage so I couldn't just face tank the mage.

Solarflare gives you less tiles to work with on the boss though? I don't think that's good for beginners.

can you show how to set up the attack range for the npcs. I sometimes think I am out of range for a npc and get hit by it and lose the run

Not hugely no, right now my gear on stream is different because I am speedrunning, but for learning this is still solid.
Is it possible to make a guide just for "high waves" using shadow, tbow or other non-max setups?

The melee gets stuck on north pillar as well.
Because of the spawn locations, minotaur does NOT always get stuck on NW pillar. That's why it's worse.
@@GnomonkeyRS Are you sure? Do you mean in certain instances where you cant safe spot it? I've been able to safe spot the minotaur on the NW pillar 100% of the time but if I take reentry and rag the wrong tiles then I get shit on. I have really shit gear though so I try to force 1 v 1 every chance I get and I never meet dps checks with a whip. Your methods require a lot more mechanical skill.
Yes. The shaman gets stuck in front of the minotaur sometimes and it can't get past, ruining the mage block. It's 50/50 if it works on NW because of how they spawn from the gate.
Does the archer still max a 1? Did they change that? It definitely hits harder..

I did it with a whip and ironman gear as well. It's all definitely possible. Kirby did it with even less. Good luck!

There's not really a reason to, this covers pretty much everything and I did make an updated invo guide and chart in Discord

I don't recommend it without Scythe. Salad blade and whip are 30% worse dps and 2nd BIS
Hey was just wondering regarding the pray melee attack on the boss. you said that it's 3 tick 3 ticks then 4 ticks and after >50% hp it's 3-3-5. I'm just a bit confused because when i looked the wiki it said that it's 3-3-3 then 3-3-4 when under 50%. has it been confirmed which one it was? Thanks alot and thank you for this guide :)
Just based off what I've seen wiki would be wrong. The 3rd attack is definitely delayed in both phases

First wave is always the same for everyone. It's resetting waves 2-4.

No, just after wave 1 if you get shit invos and don't want them. Wave 1 is just the only static invo set.

Yup, just significantly harder and not worth it imo. Better off spending the month you'd spend in Colosseum grinding it, grinding Nex and getting the gear

Majority of the loot from the colosseum is crap too and will eventually be worth nothing. They made it way too hard for the loot obtained other than the quiver obviously. Very strange how they put this content together. I'm not a fan of either, it could have been way better
it just feels like you cant even do it completely unless your maxed and have the best gear

You're genuinely incorrect. PvP is extremely diverse and runs off of split second decisions in reactions to other players. This is simply pattern recognition. A top tier PvP player can contest top level PVm, but a top level PvM player cannot contest top level PvP
