Note: I brought the DFS cause I didn't have a crystal shield in my bank for tanking lol, they're about the same, could bring a dinh's if you have it even for tanking running between pillars. Most of the items here are replaceable, but SGS is very nice for dealing with fremmy warriors and healing up right after, but certainly possible without it. I barely used the ahrims, so you could just bank ahrims and just take off armour when barraging tbh, but mage switches are nice if you make a lot of mistakes and wanna barrage back up very often, I didn't really need it tho.

NGL im more inclined to try learning this than inferno. Mainly because its just way quicker to get through the waves and repeat them when needed. 12 waves total feels a lot more digestable than the amount inferno has to me. Also just feels like it'd take me so long to learn zuk, but getting to him each time is such a big time investment. On the otherhand, even if i dont finish colloseum i could still learn to get good at the waves to the extend of just doing it for loot. Where as inferno its u finish or you get nothing
@@kylejones1532 thats fine tho. To me inferno is a lot more of an endurance race having to sit through the same boring waves first just to get to the parts i need or want to practise. Very diff with 12 rounds imo

Not really, you can be skilled without enjoying the grind. It's definitely a grind to get a 200m+ setup, unless you get a few lucky drops. I think it's more the fact that he called a 200m+ setup "budget" when it's really not IMO. I would consider budget to be 50m or less, but there's lots of people that would think even that is not really "budget". It's all subjective I suppose.

Congratz Kirby, I'm really happy to see how much the PvM community has increased their skill lvl since the last 5 years. I remember when nobody could be capable of beating the inferno or tob the first days of release and now almost every PvMer have a good knowledge of game ticks and how movement works thanks to the end game content and allows them being capable to do stuff like this almost in release. At this point I'm excited to see how Jagex can create new difficult PvM challenges in the future taking as reference how good and capable the community is right now.

just a note on the ballista comment you made early in the video, I feel a lot of irons have ballista due to going dry on the zenyte shard grind. I personally completed 2 heavys and 1 light ballista before pulling all my shards. I feel it could be viable but to an extent LOL
Mmmm idk man. I went on rate for zenyte and have no ballistas made. Think completing one is decently tougher than all 4 zenytes, rng wise. Could be wrong though
57:56 you can get the tiny mager in the back unstuck by dragging it out 1 tile further than the manticore and ranger. Just be out of the mager’s range and you can pull it by itself

I had a couple questions. Why do you slowly rotate around the final boss, is there a reason or are you just staying mobile? My other question is, how do you reliably know when to turn melee prayer on to parry his stabs? Like... I can't distinguish an audio or visual cue and sometimes he holds it for so long.
I'll be making a boss guide soon to cover the timing in more detail, but I'm just readjusting position for when acid on the ground blocks me from being able to hit boss and dodge attacks properly. Quick tip for now I guess for the stabs, if you've ever played a dark souls game it really does feel like that, you kinda wait till the last second to click the prayer on, basically at the start of his stab animation, you could even practice by having the video open and doing it in your own client (though the ticks might be slightly out of sync). You can also see in my run I have a red flashing 1, 2, thing, that can help you see the the tick my prayer turns on, and the tick before it which is the window for clicking the prayer.
Can you make a video detailing the off-tick mechanics and how they actually work? I feel like a lot of guides teach 'this situation, do this' but they don't go into WHY you do it for an actual understanding. Also, great job. This show's that with enough time and skill, gear isn't a factor even in some of the hardest content in the game! No excuses!
ikr. Obviously budget is relative to the content. A viable setup on the affordable side for a player that is at the point in the game to realistically complete the content. Nobody would call a 200m setup budget for scurrius or barrows, but it'd be pretty hard to find a player that is experienced enough at PVM to complete the colosseum, but somehow can't afford a bowfa crystal set.

Yea, I'd say cheapest upgrade is venator, it's nice for fremmy mage warrior, and is really big dps on waves in certain stacks if you have a range setup for waves. Other than that just megarares, scythe for final boss (also for waves but melee only waves is very hard), shadow / tbow for waves depending which you have.
I know it might be too soon to tell but what’s the gap between saeldor and scythe? More substantial than the difference between say, bowfa and tbow in inferno?
This is so helpful as a budget noob, but at 15:48 - could you not camp south pillar with mage protect up to kill the mager instead of flicking the rangers too? Would their pathing reroute them or the furry? Looks like in that situation you could solve easier, unless I'm missing something

Iron here, use Berserker Ring and prims imo. Even with high defense the mobs are ridiculously accurate but the str bonus will let you simplify some waves before the extra mobs spawn. And if not meleeing the waves, I’d still use prims and B-Ring, good for the boss

Would the light ballista 1-shot the mage? It probably isnt worth it normally but my iron doesnt have a bowfa and ive been using atlatl instead (which takes two hits but i have to remember to use eagle eye). I do save the mage for last so it's the least important one but there are some scenarios where I've died due to killing the frems too slowly (would be nice to have their damage nerfed (again) but alas). I'm thinking I just need to wait for better gear to do it on the iron but currently I do fang, toxic trident, atlatl (and tent whip for Sol). It's just so much less smooth than the main where I have been using SGS and a bowfa.
52:45 I don't understand why the two manticores weren't attacking at the same time? I saw this earlier to when there were 2 manticors stacked on a pillar. Is that a mechanic?
Yea manticores will purposely wait until the other one finishes its 5 tick attack cycle before it begins attacking. Though very rarely they bug out and attack at the same time / slightly off-ticked, only seen that happen a few times.
Sure I'll add them to description and pinned comment, and I think they were guardian boots, but boots aren't too big a deal, I'd recommend either guardian or prims to speed up boss, but even devouts could be nice for easier prayer, or pegs to speed up waves for bofa, really whatever your best boots you have.
Is this actually harder than inferno? As some1 who didn't do both it totally doesn't seem that way. But the boss is super hard obviously. The upside of this is that it takes far less time to finish than inferno at least.
I've had mixed results with it, but I've also gotten a bit distracted reading chat and been late getting back to b5 tile sometimes, so I need more testing. The thing about b5 it seems to usually give really easy spawns, but rarely can give a really really horribly brutal spawn, at least from my experience. I gotta try more runs with it tho lol.

this is the most realistic budget for most people that are close to max combat skills and during the process have been doing some gwd and other mid-to-high-end combat stuff. Most people don't have money for scythe but have done some raids, so they surely have hundreds of mils of money not billions but enough to complete these mega hard tasks like inferno and this, If they invest their time to learn mechanics.
@molgoatkirby I'd think doing coliseum pre inferno would be best because you get alot of 'later' wave practice without spending so much time in the early waves...
if ur bringing blood barrage, why not save fremmy mage last to heal any mistakes or leech hits from the other fremmys? would allow you to save sgs spec when you need or bank entirely
The melee Fremmy maxes very high like 40s, and he's the one you wanna kill with barrage, so good to kill right away. The mager can also hit like 20s or something so leaving it alive is also kinda scary. The rangers max a 1 though, so you can leave the rangers alive and sgs spec them later if you wish.
Customizable xp drops, tho the predicted hits are off when new bosses come out cause new bosses have various bonus xp multipliers, so until they update it it's giving the wrong values inside the Coloseum. You can hold alt to drag the xp drops tho after you install customizable xp drops plugin.
the fact that so many people are complaining about 200m being budget you do realise its 500k death cost right? 200m is literly nothing these days u can make 4-6m/h at alot of places so if 200m is alot to you reading this i wouldnt even recommend you do not go anywhere near the colosseum cause its gonna cost ya alot.

It takes a lot of people dozens upon dozens of attempts through 60 waves to just fail unless you are tick perfect in some situations and there is no stopping. I got my quiver in three days. I am not the best pvmer by far… I don’t know many average people that got their infernal cape in 3 days.
I like it because when running to southeast the NPCs align their southwest tile witih me, so by standing in the middle or southeast tile of southeast pillar, very often I can get all the NPCs safespotted, maybe I need to corner trap one. Rarely it does fail and I need to run southwest, but overall northeast just feels good to me when playing for safe completions, but I'm playing around with all the pillars as I do more runs so as I get more KC I may change my mind as I find more strats. I will eventually make a waves guide once I feel 100% confident on the best strats.
SGS is very comfy for supplies and for healing while dealing with the fremmy warriors, but certainly doable without it, just gotta be a bit more careful with supplies, maybe more blood barraging or maybe consider blowpipe speccing the mage fremmy since you always max with right style on them. The fremmy warriors can really hurt so may need to focus more on flicking/running them without SGS, but once again certainly doable.

Replace whip with scythe. Ahrims top with virtus top. Ahrims bottoms with blood fury. Replace 1 brew with a dihn’s and bring a crystal shield over DFS.

Hey! someone has a build/weps/armor for up to lvl 6? I'm not remotely close to getting the Quiver, however I am able to get atleast wave 4 in void/venator with a simple melee switch with bgs for faster clear (In 5-10 hours of this I can get SGS iknow ok.) And of course Kirby, great video and insane skill as always, making osrs actually look easy when every osrs player knows its not, at all. I wish I could give a max acc with BIS gear to my friend, and bet him lots of money to clear the inferno in a year. He would quit, or never gotten it. Seriously. Insane skill is shown here I ask here because honestly people havent made anything about it yet expect browsing thru youtube but thats for 12 waves mostly and not a "unique lvl 6-7 wave guide". For irons without an SGS, you can use dmace spec to one shot the ranger fremnik and save yourself some ticks. Dmace spec is only 25%

You can do mage and melee. Not sure how good it is without heart and ancestral though compared to bowfa.

Iron here, use Berserker Ring and prims imo. Even with high defense the mobs are ridiculously accurate but the str bonus will let you simplify some waves before the extra mobs spawn. And if not meleeing the waves, I’d still use prims and B-Ring, good for the boss

Defender a good amount more DPS, I just brought DFS for defence was too lazy to grab a crystal shield from prif.

Would the light ballista 1-shot the mage? It probably isnt worth it normally but my iron doesnt have a bowfa and ive been using atlatl instead (which takes two hits but i have to remember to use eagle eye). I do save the mage for last so it's the least important one but there are some scenarios where I've died due to killing the frems too slowly (would be nice to have their damage nerfed (again) but alas). I'm thinking I just need to wait for better gear to do it on the iron but currently I do fang, toxic trident, atlatl (and tent whip for Sol). It's just so much less smooth than the main where I have been using SGS and a bowfa.

Yes
Yea manticores will purposely wait until the other one finishes its 5 tick attack cycle before it begins attacking. Though very rarely they bug out and attack at the same time / slightly off-ticked, only seen that happen a few times.

Sure I'll add them to description and pinned comment, and I think they were guardian boots, but boots aren't too big a deal, I'd recommend either guardian or prims to speed up boss, but even devouts could be nice for easier prayer, or pegs to speed up waves for bofa, really whatever your best boots you have.
Is this actually harder than inferno? As some1 who didn't do both it totally doesn't seem that way. But the boss is super hard obviously. The upside of this is that it takes far less time to finish than inferno at least.
Also doy ou recommend on using/not using the b5 tile for first clear?
I've had mixed results with it, but I've also gotten a bit distracted reading chat and been late getting back to b5 tile sometimes, so I need more testing. The thing about b5 it seems to usually give really easy spawns, but rarely can give a really really horribly brutal spawn, at least from my experience. I gotta try more runs with it tho lol.

this is the most realistic budget for most people that are close to max combat skills and during the process have been doing some gwd and other mid-to-high-end combat stuff. Most people don't have money for scythe but have done some raids, so they surely have hundreds of mils of money not billions but enough to complete these mega hard tasks like inferno and this, If they invest their time to learn mechanics.
@molgoatkirby I'd think doing coliseum pre inferno would be best because you get alot of 'later' wave practice without spending so much time in the early waves...

if ur bringing blood barrage, why not save fremmy mage last to heal any mistakes or leech hits from the other fremmys? would allow you to save sgs spec when you need or bank entirely
The melee Fremmy maxes very high like 40s, and he's the one you wanna kill with barrage, so good to kill right away. The mager can also hit like 20s or something so leaving it alive is also kinda scary. The rangers max a 1 though, so you can leave the rangers alive and sgs spec them later if you wish.

Customizable xp drops, tho the predicted hits are off when new bosses come out cause new bosses have various bonus xp multipliers, so until they update it it's giving the wrong values inside the Coloseum. You can hold alt to drag the xp drops tho after you install customizable xp drops plugin.

It takes a lot of people dozens upon dozens of attempts through 60 waves to just fail unless you are tick perfect in some situations and there is no stopping.
I got my quiver in three days. I am not the best pvmer by far… I don’t know many average people that got their infernal cape in 3 days.

I like it because when running to southeast the NPCs align their southwest tile witih me, so by standing in the middle or southeast tile of southeast pillar, very often I can get all the NPCs safespotted, maybe I need to corner trap one. Rarely it does fail and I need to run southwest, but overall northeast just feels good to me when playing for safe completions, but I'm playing around with all the pillars as I do more runs so as I get more KC I may change my mind as I find more strats. I will eventually make a waves guide once I feel 100% confident on the best strats.
How big of a set back would it be if you have no sgs
SGS is very comfy for supplies and for healing while dealing with the fremmy warriors, but certainly doable without it, just gotta be a bit more careful with supplies, maybe more blood barraging or maybe consider blowpipe speccing the mage fremmy since you always max with right style on them. The fremmy warriors can really hurt so may need to focus more on flicking/running them without SGS, but once again certainly doable.

There's a lot of ways, I prefer shift-rightclick tag all, then shift-right click and pick colour, most customizable that way.

Replace whip with scythe. Ahrims top with virtus top. Ahrims bottoms with blood fury. Replace 1 brew with a dihn’s and bring a crystal shield over DFS.
Leaves you with leftovers to pay for supplies and deaths :P

Hey! someone has a build/weps/armor for up to lvl 6? I'm not remotely close to getting the Quiver, however I am able to get atleast wave 4 in void/venator with a simple melee switch with bgs for faster clear (In 5-10 hours of this I can get SGS iknow ok.)
And of course Kirby, great video and insane skill as always, making osrs actually look easy when every osrs player knows its not, at all. I wish I could give a max acc with BIS gear to my friend, and bet him lots of money to clear the inferno in a year. He would quit, or never gotten it. Seriously. Insane skill is shown here
I ask here because honestly people havent made anything about it yet expect browsing thru youtube but thats for 12 waves mostly and not a "unique lvl 6-7 wave guide".
