I rewatched this game. Oregon had help like it was perfectly schemed to the fact they went for it on 4th down and a fake punt.
I don't think even Josh realizes that the only time a large percentage of new Colorado fans watch football is during the Super Bowl, so they think football consists of two good teams playing each other. They don't understand the talent imbalance in College Football. They don't even know who Caleb Williams is.

Honestly the most sound and reasonable take I have heard all year. Definitely got my subscription. Also I feel as though a majority of the people who were rooting for Deon and Colorado to lose were just sick of seeing them in the media. My SportsCenter feed was just straight Colorado for a week straight.

The real fans were not stunned. We knew that Colorado's team is not on some levels yet. It is a feel good story , but it came down a few notches after this loss. The people stunned are the same that thought TCU was going to win against Ga . learn to watch the games and know what your looking at and don't pick with your heart.

They have a couple guys who were overlooked by p5 schools, but football is a game of 1 vs1 battles and eventually the better guys win enough of them... Utah for a long time had 2.5-3 star kids and eventually a 5 star roster got them... that’s how it goes
As a Duck alum, I think Deion has been good for college football because he increased the interest level in the sport. 25 million viewers watched Colorado's first three games.

For me, it’s not even Deon. It’s the crazy fans and some talking heads. For example, some talking heads said it was disrespectful for Vegas to have them as a 21pt underdog. And I’m thinking, they barely escaped that csu game at home. It was the same for me with LeBron. He would lose a game or something and someone would pull out some really obscure stat just so they could talk about LeBron, “like did you know LeBron had the most points while standing directly under the rim with 2 minutes left in each quarter?” I can see how always making the focus on one person can grind people’s gears.

I can easily tell the long time fans from the bandwagoners by how they talk. Real Colorado fans, they were nervous coming into the game. As they should be with how we've beat them around since they entered the conference. The new ones were always acting like this was going to be a win. A simple look at Colorado State playing them last week was enough to know that everything they did on both sides, we could do better. And we wouldn't get worn down after three quarters.

This is the most unbiased and fair take on Prime & Colorado on YT or any other media. Sanders has brought casual and new fans to/back to the sport who are unfamiliar with the game and culture. This man just explained it in a way a child could understand. Unfortunately, only a small % will get what he said.
CU has been together 4/5 months. It takes more time than that to build a quality program. They’ve already won. Anything else for this season is just a cherry on the top. They will be a better team next year

I think Oregon fans felt disrespect myself included because everybody in the national main stream media on ESPN and Fox Sports would talk about this game. Only about Colorado didn’t really talk about Oregon. The only time they talked about Oregon was saying how she was disrespectful the line, and that Colorado was going to win. And so we kind of felt disrespected by the media . I did get a lot of the hater comments before the game because I said it was gonna be 51-24 and the bench would be in by the fourth quarter, and they would get a couple touchdowns to make it look closer against the back ups. I agree with you on the Deion tax, but the media does have a part of play at least the national media. I really like your channel and other college football channels that actually will talk about the game and give a fair assessment. I wasn’t surprised that it was a blowout. I was surprised that Oregon made Colorado look like an FCS team. It was 42-0 they had 34 yards with six minutes in the third quarter when they started to put the backups in. Then it took a quarter against the back ups to get a touchdown for Colorado. The score doesn’t even show how dominant Oregon was. The real outrage was win after the game. The media was called on their bias and they faced ignorance and acted like no one picked Colorado to win when in the national media It was pretty popular.

Y’all ain’t getting media attention because you’re quite mediocre for a “Top 10” team. Lanning hasn’t done jack for Oregon relative to Deion at Colorado. He inherited a stacked team from Cristobal that Mario and past coaches had long built a strong athletic culture for going back decades. Deion on the other hand completely revitalized a dead program who surely would’ve failed even worse had he not come to Boulder. He’s instituted a new culture and laid the groundwork for successful recruiting for years to come. This is only year 1, no one is arguing that Oregon has better talent and size overall, but wait a few years and watch it change.
Lanning says you don’t play for clicks, appearances, and flash but your 18,000 uniform variations say otherwise. Every team needs to be big and flashy on social media for recruiting, but you don’t need to be so two faced about it.
Enjoy your first and only week of fame and media attention. And stay mad when Colorado’s ratings stay better the whole rest of the season no matter what their record ends up being. 😂😂😂😂
Deion Sanders and Prime (be it ‘Time’ or Coach) are two different personas of the same man. The former is introverted and the latter is MASSIVELY extroverted. Only the people who knows Deion, truly know him. Prime, on the other hand, is larger than life. Confident, bold, self-assured and an all-out winner. But far more than all of that…
Prime is, unapologetically, the same… every… time. He isn’t a production, as Josh pointed out. He doesn’t fit into anyone’s narrative or box; and people tend to hate what they can’t control. They loathe it, in fact.

Colorado had fewer than 100 yards of total offense after 3 quarters. That's how lopsided the game was. That said, Colorado is definitely making strides under Sanders.

The players and coaches will look back on these experiences that created relationships and bonds of trusts becoming productive members for our communities. Being authentic is the best thing we can do interacting with each other. Having the real person, not the "produced person" is ideal. Thank you for calling out the "hype agents" and helping to make them accountable for their actions all for profitability. Being a true fan of the game, there will be some wins and loses, the end result is the forging of character of young men as they begin to participate in life. The Huskies game will be the real test for both teams. I think Oregon's pass defence has been honestly pretty good. I will be curious to see how effective Penix will be in that scenario. On the other side, Washington's defense has also come up huge in the last few games. It will be two great offenses and two strong defenses going at it. Will be a great stress test for both teams!

I hate that they made it about race. Those are not the TRUE COLLEGE FOOTBALL fans. The truth of the matter is you have 132 other teams besides Colorado that have been watching Colorado get all the praise and glory since week 1 after they also worked hard during the offseason, been winning 10+ games per year, and they don’t like it. They want the praise in recognition too. Its not a bad thing, it breeds competition, it puts a new team on the national map and ultimately adds to everything we love about college football, THE CHAOS, THE PAGEANTRY, THE UPSETS, THE FIELD STORMING, THE FLASHINESS, THE UNIFORMS. My next question would be, can someone do some research from the last 10 years on the top 5 or 10 first year coaches to be hired by a program with a losing record from the last 5 seasons? I'm just gauging the the levels of expectations those programs had (in their first year) vs Colorado this season.
This win ain’t gonna stop Coach Prime and what he’s doing at CU. This train is just getting started. They just gonna get better. Oregon can enjoy this win probably will be the highlight of there year as they fall short in the playoffs that’s if they make it.
