This Colorado season is really just an advertisement for recruits next year. They showed you'll get the most attention out of any school, you have a great head coach, a great qb, you can become a ranked team etc... A great foundation, now they just gotta build.
Edit: #1 in transfers, ranked 21st overall rn...🤷🏾♂️
That's nice but they don't have the money to compete in recruiting.
@@Malgus87how do you figure that? You know how much money they brought in just the last couple weeks? They 100% have the money lol.
@@Malgus87Deion has more money than most of these schools with NFL friends to help as well
@@Malgus87 They don't need money, the publicity and broadcasting that Coach Prime has brought to CU in 4 games has been valued at 70 million dollars. So as a recruit, if you are that dude, you will get NIL money just from the exposure of being at CU. If a prospect cannot calculate that type of basic math, CU don't need you.
noone wants to come to a trash school. We will see net year what kind of recruits actually come in. This looks like the Cowboys fanbase in the making. The goal post is going to shift every year. Also, NOT a great qb.

Right! He was doin' what he had to do AND being strategic to get some of that Prime shine for his program; in a tasteful way.
Lets see if he screams and hollers before every remaining game this season. Probably not.
Saying nobody watches Oregon is a wild take because for the last 10+ years they’ve had an explosive and fun offense to watch

Oregon is consistently near the Top 10 of most viewed teams (12th in 2022, avg 2.2M per game). Now that we're finally in the meet of the conference schedule, let's see who gets the most eyeballs. The beginning of the year is full of cupcake games that people skip over, but now is when people get serious.

And because of a recent deal with NIKE, Colorado will now have new uniforms each week too…

Someone tell shannon oregon Colorado last year was on ESPN lmao
Oregon did what Oregon was supposed to do with a team in the top 10 with a 21 point line at home. However, let's not get this twisted. Dan Lanning walked into a powerhouse program and kept it running, Coach Prime is building his from scratch. Better get him now because this is as bad as Colorado is going to get.
No, it's gonna get worse for Colorado. They'll probably be able to score a decent amount against USC, but now's when the losing streak starts. Don't forget - this wasn't just a personnel issue. Deion Sanders was thoroughly outcoached, and no one regards Dan Lanning as anything more than an average coach. It wasn't like Jim Harbaugh or Kirby Smart beat him. Even with four- and five-star players, a team still needs a competent coach, and, as it stands, Deion is 0-2 in bowl games, losing both times as double-digit favorites. The media has embellished his actual coaching ability...
Oregon is not that good chief.
@@Zenigundam So the difference between you and a whole bunch of NFL hall-of-famers is that you're saying Deion Sanders doesn't know football strategy. I'll be 100 percent honest, this game went pretty much as I expected. Now, I did say in another thread that I thought 21-points was a HUGE spread when matching two Power 5 conference teams against each other. With that in mind, I did not think betting on Colorado to cover the spread was the worst decision if someone wanted to do that. But after this game, seeing how Oregon's offensive and defensive lines dominated that game ... I was surprised that Colorado could do absolutely nothing to stop it from happening. I knew those key positions were not up to snuff yet, but I had no idea that they were THAT far behind. Deion has already proven he can recruit skill positions. I am interested to see how long it takes before he can pull in the big boys.
Now all of a sudden people are saying they knew they were going to get blown out 🤡🧢
@@dadillonfulmost people have more than half a brain and know that the Pac 12 is no joke. I think everyone knew they were gonna get shredded lol, Deion is doing wonders for Colorado but he’s still a few years away. He’s not wrong when he says that this is the worst he’ll ever be, I don’t see how any kid coming up doesn’t want to play for him with all the attention you’ll get
Anybody who was being realistic about comparing the actual teams over focusing on the hype train knew Colorado wasn’t up that level yet. I didn’t expect them to get demolished to the extent they did but I didn’t expect them to win this game but was unrealistically hopeful it could happen somehow. But Oregon is an established strong program versus what Colorado is and I do believe this is the weakest they’ll ever be as Deion has time to continually recruit and build the team. I did think a 21 point spread was huge because that’s a ton to beat anybody by even if you’re superior to them. But anybody who thought Colorado would truly win didn’t feel that way based on any actual metric of talent but out of emotion. Rational people knew the wake up call was bound to come eventually and this was it. The same is probably coming against USC.
Acting like people would not watch just for Oregon is insane

I've been a fan of Oregon football for a long time. All the one time use uniforms are cool and all, but I couldn't care less about them. I watch because of their game play. They don't have 1000 uniform for clicks. They just do it because they can thanks to Phil Knight and his disposable funds. The uniforms didn't bring players to the team. Their success and facilities did.
I’ve asked a lot of my football friends about this. The consensus is that this is exactly what we’d say if we were the coach, but we know we don’t mean it and have respect for CU and Coach Prime. Gotta get locked in

love this show!
It very clear we all see Colorado's biggest issue is that O and D line. We all knew Oregon and USC were going to be trouble. Besides that Deion is doing a good job coaching. This loss gives Colorado a guide on whats needed to work on for the Trojan game next week. Sanders has to stop holding on to the ball to long. They know what the o line is capable of, they need to make a change to their offensive schemes.
They don't play good teams and lose to ok teams, great job😂
The OL is so bad, there's not much they can do differently. Oregon got pressure with just their front four, not blitzes. Colorado has allowed 23 sacks in just four games, while last year's 1-11 team allowed 23 sacks the whole season. Colorado is on pace to set an all-time record for sacks allowed. That should be their motivation. Put away any thoughts of beating USC. Try something achievable, like limiting hits on Shedeur to single digits and maybe 1 sack allowed. Have a goal of not being shutout in the 1st half. Work on not being embarrassed. Baby steps. The PAC-12 schedule, especially in this last year of the conference, is way too much for the Buffalos to handle, so they need to work on not looking like a high school team playing a pro team.
@@clottadams5028a good amount of the players that Deion kicked off the team were from his previous O and D lines because he wanted to start fresh, and that mistake will end up injuring his son, because all it takes is one good hit by a player that the line left alone and he's out

Did he say 7 or 8 dogs away? You need more than that. With depth on these top schools, you need at least 20 dogs because rotation can wear down your team against Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, and USC, for example. Colorado only has 3 dogs, in my opinion, QB Sanders WR/CB Hunter and WR Weaver.

Good for Oregon
Deion said before the season that the game is played in the trenches and he's correct. You need somewhat of a competent offensive and defensive line. If your QB is getting sacked the most in college football then you obviously aren't gonna have any success. It takes a few years to actually get your guys who you recruited yourself. Give it two years and I'd say Colorado will be winning the nationally recruiting thing every year when they rank their incoming classes.
LMFAO
He also said that he about 7 players from being good. That mean he 7 players from his defensive and offensive line being good.
Colorado will never be pulling in elite recruiting classes in the same way that Ohio State, or Michigan, or Alabama, or for that matter even Oregon do. Oregon is almost always in the top 10 for recruiting classes which is saying something for a PAC 12 team. Colorado will take a long time to get there if ever. The fact that you called it the 'national recruiting thing' tells me you should probably watch some more football before you go giving opinions buddy.
@@princeofgreece9054 yeah I don't watch that much football. You also aren't suppose to put the word "or" in front of Alabama or Ohio St. in that given context. Only before the last in that series' of commas. I'll watch more football and you go back to school, we will both come out better. 😉

He's doing it to convince recruits to pick Colorado over those other schools to beat those other schools and those coaches at other schools get paid not to let that happen. So when the Oregon coach says he what he says to his players in pregame, yes their is emotion involved but its also competitive strategy. He has to counter what Deion is doing to beat him. He's playing the same game that Deion is playing and they're both trying to win. People are trying to make it deeper than what it is. The business of sports is attention, winning, and revenue. And all coaches are trying to accomplish those things.
What you people are also not getting us that Deion Sanders NEVER FORCED YOU AT GUNPOINT TO SUPER GLUE YOUR GPS ON HIM 24/7/365!! You have the power to stop tracking CU and Deion Sanders. But you choose not to. Don't blame another man for what you refuse to do.
Why is Colorado ranked 75th for the incoming class? They have hardly signed anyone. Deion focuses too much on the skill positions. He needs to focus on getting some hawgz not dawgz.
yep , deion is working hard to get all the publicity he can to draw the players he needs to win. It offends many people but it needs to be done to get kids to wanna commit
Talk to’em Ryan!!!!
Thank you for dropping that truth bomb on Dan. I couldn't sleep that night.
Why is Shannon always trying to create a psedo race war using Colordo?
That speech was spot on and 💯 accurate.
Molly with the random "mhmm" at 3:37 supporting tf out of CU and Deion 😅
That's a real coach
Its not that people hate prime, we hate how the media talks about colorado 24/7. Prime is a great man and coach, the media just rubs your nose in them to the point you get tired of it
I understand but you rather talk about the negative of college sports or the good this it's good
Because he generates money
That’s why people hate on LeBron fr it’s because they talk about him every segment you get tired of seeing him 😂
@d.r.fromutu0929 nah LeBron is hated for his personality too.
Yep hit the nail on the head idk why Shannon had to make it so personal it’s just sad the narrative their pushing 😭
I like how Shannon is calling out Oregon for their uniforms. Even tho Jackson State was coming out with new uniforms like evey week because of their deal with Under Armour. Shannon even called them the Oregon of the south on Undisputed. 😂😂😂
If you pick against Colorado, everyone in the media and Deion call you a hater.
JSU won tho. I know you avg college football fans don’t watch hbcu football but JSU won. What has Oregon won? That’s the point you missed out on.
For them it's about Black versus whatever.
I've never seen a white player or coach or anyone in life and thought to myself "that looks like my cousin I root for him!"
That said I love Deion Sanders is doing and I root for the program to succeed it has nothing to do with it being some kind of win for an entire race or anything like that. It's a former great player helping boys become men.
You missed the point
This is why i cant what shannon and steven a its always a black and white issue they should just go work for cnn..
RC on it like always.
Preach RC
The Oregon vs Colorado game proves the difference between one school that recruits and the other that takes transfers.
As a new HC, he had to take transfers. But best believe, he’s recruiting now.
Colorado is good for college football but everyone doesn’t have to root for em
If you don’t root for them you’re racist apparently is what Shannon was alluding to. Sad
RC went back to streets for about 30 seconds at the end. You did it for clicks to bruh 😆😆😆 i love it. 😊
i Heard Deion told his players to hit the portal after game lol
Only reason I liked Oregon back in the day was because of the nice uniforms.
Facts
shoutout nike, that team was just an advertisement for YEARS
y’all act like the team wasn’t good too. If Oregon had nice uniforms but were winning 2 games every season nobody would’ve cared.
@@dmor9717 you realize they got blew out by Georgia last year right?
@@HKstxccthat has nothing to do with his comment. We’re talking about Oregon back in the day, not contemporary Oregon
I agree it isn’t Deions fault people hate on Colorado, as a Colorado hater I lay the blame on the media that has been constantly overhyping them when it was obvious they couldn’t compete in the trenches with any top team this year. Also I’m an FSU fan and Deion stole Travis hunter from us so there’s that 😂
Facts, the reason I hate Colorado isn’t because of Deion or nothing it’s because of the media keeps pushing it on us
I don't like Colorado, but I hate FSU. Looking good, but I wish the Seminoles had lost to Clemson to knock them out of the playoffs.
Deion has done as much to fuel the media than anyone else..
Very well said my Ryan Clark 🎉
Butthurts flock together
"they got no chance in recruiting, going against prime" hey Shannon, you got that backwards
Stephen A Smith try not to make everything about race challenge (impossible)
I am so tired of these national media people not understanding and disrespecting, Oregon. Shannon Sharpe I like him, but he does not know diddley squat when it comes to college football or at least when it comes to Oregon. Oregon is top 15 every year in viewership, so yeah bro people watch Oregon it’s not because of Colorado. The speech that Dan Lanning said was because everybody in the media on ESPN and Fox Sports on the shows just like first take we’re picking Colorado, so they felt disrespected. Also, for the record, we didn’t change our jerseys until we were winning Pac 12 titles. Yes, we were trendsetters and had style as the jerseys but we release those in 2009 2010 we were competing for Pat for championships and rose bowls and national championships around that time. We got media hype for changing the game of football, and that’s when we changed our jerseys which was wins. People be talking about Oregon or their history not knowing anything like Keyshawn Johnson and Shannon Sharpe 277 jerseys and zero championships they haven’t done anything. Not knowing Oregon is at the very least a top 10 program the last 15 years.
I forgot Oregon was non-existent before CU came around this year. lol
The better coach out coached Deion and his staff. Give credit to Oregon where credit is due. They showed up and Colorado didn't and ESPN staff can take this L😂
Deion said that .. but this ain’t no championship game Coach Prime gonna get a o and d line no worries
