I can't hate on any coach that's able to bring back football energy into a program and school. This was definitely a reminder of where they are REALLY at. Colorado did give us three very exciting weeks. But, most folks knew once they started conference play, they find out who they are.

As someone that played college football. The biggest gaps between schools is not the skill players, it’s the big guys upfront and having depth at that position. Even Deion said it himself that he needs about 7 to 8 dawgs at the O line and D line position. To be honest he’ll need more. During the season, they have to go recruit south of the Mason Dixon line and get some beef upfront before they can compete with the elite schools.

There are plenty of big men above the mason Dixon line that are “dogs”. Well not dogs but talented human beings with fight.
Wisconsin consistently has big white men that can play OL and DL better than ANYONE
So does OSU- year after year, top big white guys from the north that go top 10 in NFL draft

This is one of those moments. An overhyped CO team meets a wall. How they bounce back is far more important than how they played last night. 3-1 isn't a bad look. Let's see if they're going to build off this loss or if they'll fall into obscurity.

Their schedule doesn't get any easier. They made it thru the easiest part of the schedule. Now it's against teams that are and actually should be, ranked. Colorado had no place being ranked. And this game exposed that. Media propelled this team to being in a top 20 spot and they didn't belong there to begin with. Oregon did what they were expected and Colorado did what I expected. Now "prime" will just replace half the roster again and wonder why there's no chemistry

This game had the best play calling I’ve seen this year. Oregon was truly firing on all cylinders. While Colorado was embarrassing all around they couldn’t get anything together even in garbage time.

The only way Colorado ever makes the college football playoff will be if Deion recruits the #1 class a couple of years in a row, and those classes just so happen to coalesce into a monster team. It certainly won't come from his coaching. He's been outcoached two weeks in a row by two average coaches. For all of this "quarterbacking tutelage" that Shedeur Sanders received from Tom Brady, you'd think he'd know how to stay in the pocket and take a hit or get rid of the ball instead of running backward fifteen yards and taking a sack. This team will only regress as it loses more games. The only saving grace is the move to the Big 12, which will be little more than a mid-major conference once Texas and Oklahoma leave.

The ducks have had battles over years vs the best CFB has to offer, Auburn, Ohio state, LSU, etc... and when the ducks sniffed championships it was always them getting beat in the trenches. They can compete but had to get bigger. COL is learning this. There's levels. The ducks have been the best the pac12 has to offer overall for over a decade but often has games where they beat themselves.

Such a classic beat down. Loved every second of it. And Sheduer Sanders, like a pouting baby, says he wasn’t impressed by the Ducks play. I’ve watched this clip many times. Reminiscent of the Ducks beat down of Florida State in semifinals. I love my Ducks, but I do have to admit they haven’t been tested yet, haven’t play a top caliber team. Hopefully they’ll win against UW, USC, Utah, as well as WSU and Oregon St. They have one of the toughest schedules this year.

Gotta admit Oregon was balling. When your offensive line is able to bully the opposition’s d line and create wide open lanes for the running game like they did, it opens up the pass game so nicely. You can tell how comfortable Bo Nix looked compared to Shedeur. Really excited to see what this CU team would really look like with some better talent on both the o & d line tho. They wanted to embarass them on national television, and they did. But they also had mercy, because they took some of the starting players out of the game near the end. The score could've been well into the 70s. Lastly, the Prime Effect goes both ways. It either makes teams cower, or it makes them want to dominant you. The latter happened today.

Deion Sanders has been outcoached two weeks in a row: once as a massive favorite against an awful team and now as a massive underdog against an above average but not championship level team. It doesn't matter if he gets 5-star players at every position because the fact of the matter is that he's still being outcoached. Talented players still need a competent coach. Shedeur was costing his team any chance of a comeback by running backward out of the pocket instead of standing in there and throwing his wide outs open. Why wasn't there a quarterback change? That's typically what you do to create a spark when the offense isn't moving the ball.

If you watched any of their press conferences you would know that they always talk about how there is more work to do and they are looking forward to the next one. This game showed to me not that Colorado was overhyped but that Oregon belongs in the playoff.
Colorado was tremendously overhyped. They struggled against a bottom tier team in CSU and this Oregon team struggled against Texas Tech. Oregon is really good and CU is really mediocre

This will humble Prime and the media. Oregon and other college coaches were tired of hearing about the Buffs and their program, while their top ranked Ducks were getting ignored. The coaches took it personal. Prime is doing a great job, but this game shows how far he has to go to be great. Oh and no wonder Oregon is good, seems they have a few SEC transfers.

The reason people and the media gravitated to him was his personality. This has always been the case in sports. It doesn’t matter what other coaches think and want. If they’re boring and their programs are boring, no one will want to see them win or lose.
