Saw TBDM almost by accident at warped tour back in 2013. They were in some tiny trailer stage with like 30-40 people around them. They were absolutely incredible, by far the best band there. The rest didn't sound like theyd ever played live together by comparison. Don't know how warped tour could do them so dirty.
@@jurassicturtle3666 in my small experience with warped tour... maybe 5 times (pre-2010) they *always* used to put the more "mainstream" bands front and center, and everybody else either had to play in the grass or had enough money to get a funky little stage going. I remember one year, I believe it was "The Used" playing at a major stage, and right next to them in a weird corner was "My Chemical Romance". This was wayyy back, clearly, as there was nobody watching MCR. I was running to see The Used perform, and midway heard MCR, stopped, as I was impressed and also confused by the small audience, and low and behold... I got a front "stand" of an amazing show from MCR before they hit it big. Now they'd be the band front and center while other 'up and comers' are on the sidelines. It's weird, but it kinda makes sense. Money & pull. Also, I'm not at all comparing MCR/The Used to TBDM 🤣, just saying it seems warped hasn't changed their ways and at least it does give us as fans an opportunity to see bands before they're 'larger than life' and beyond my funds 😆. I dunno. Just my anecdotal observation. Warped can kinda suck it tbh, it's incredibly $$ centric, and the soul of alternative music being performed for all to enjoy sort of got lost along the way. Hence why I haven't gone in like 15+ years 😅. Yes, I'm old. Nobody is gonna read this. However, much love to all ✌🏽🖤
