      My reply I think is applicable to character creation sliders as well as real life in that such changes need to be done in small increments with a bit of time between major changes. Many have been the times where I've been working on a character/model in a game and after staring at it for too long I lose all sense of objectivity and need an outside opinion. Moderation in all things tends to be a good life motto.

Most likely getting much of your booba taken, some chemo here and there, but eventually you're able to come out on top and survive the endure. Additionally, Polyethylene is considered non-hazardous by normal routes of exposure, and rejection of it is very rare. Furthermore, Polyethylene is not the only material used in implants.

    I got a breast reduction the moment I turned 18 and I couldn't be happier. Went from a 34J to a 34F(DDD) and I'm beyond relieved I won't have breast-related back problems in the future, and I only hate my body for reasons other than my tits!! My surgeon found a benign growth in my breast that was (without a mammogram) intracable pre-op because the tissue was so dense. If it was cancerous my surgery could have saved my life. Crazy how plastic surgery can be so fantastic for some people and ruin other folks' lives

  • @leia3772
    @leia3772 Před 2 měsíci +315

    My breast reduction was the best thing I ever did. When I graduated high school I was 5’3”, skinny, and a DDD. Everyday I wore 2 bras and started wearing back support at work. It was that or laying on a heating pad every night in tears. By the time I got my reduction at 23 I was an E cup. I weighed myself before going to the hospital and the morning after. I lost 3.8 lbs and that’s without taking into account how swollen I was. Even then I was still a D cup. I didn’t feel weighed down anymore. I could wear cute bras and tops and actually exercise. I would do it again with no hesitation. My plastic surgeon changed my life.

      I was in the military with a girl who got a breast reduction as soon as she was able, right after basic training. She was the same as you, about 5’ tall and wore two bras and sometimes two shirts. She really struggled in bootcamp cuz there was a lot of running, and she’d always get yelled at for not doing pushups properly since her breasts kept her from being able to press all the way down. I saw her after her surgery and she was so much happier, plus she was a lot skinnier than I thought she was, as her breasts and all the extra layers she wore previously made her appear heavier.

    I honestly hate when people who look perfectly fine become horrible, monstrous abominations, because they thought they needed to waste their money on plastic surgery to become an uncanny valley looking gargoyle. It almost always makes you look worse and unnatural. The ONLY time plastic surgery should be used, imo, is if there's some deformity or damage to your face, like a broken nose, cleft lip, deformed jaw, burns, etc. Or, for quality of life treatments.
    Its your money, do what you want with it, but, just look at someone like Simon Cowell now, and honestly tell me he doesn't look like an alien wearing a plastic mask that vaguely resembles Simon Cowell, and trying to pass itself off as Simon.

BUT I have the severe joint condition EDS which hypermobility of my soft tissue leading to tears and frequent dislocations. So insurance decided that my back pain can't be proven to just be my breast saying I would have back pain anyway so I was denied coverage for a "cosmetic" surgery. Bruh...
    I was almost heavily inconvenienced for getting a tube put in my ear cause, I also have chronic ear infections because I'm "overweight" and the closer facility doesn't have the proper room to deal with the complications overweight people could possibly have while put under. Luckily the doctor could see I'm not big, it's just over 10% of my body weight is boob! So he fought for me to get the surgery there and not 2 hours away at the main hospital he worked at. But man it sucks when like I can't get help, but then you see these people somehow have the money or assistance, and these doctors for some reason are willing to turn people into your cartoons irl.

    I've always been very self conscious about my face. I broke my nose when I was eight and because of that, my nose grew with a hump in it. (Look up Cleopatra's nose, it's exactly what mine looks like.) In a world of perfectly pleasing button noses, mine feels huge. But! I found a botched plastic surgery subreddit that cured that dysphoria in record time. My nose might be large but it's not whatever the hell it is those people got going on.

    Excessive plastic surgery and body modification in general are things that genuinely terrify me, from both the impact side effects can have and the social ethics of it.
    Like, the idea of people using medical advancements, typically made with the intention of helping people who actually need it due to birth defects and genuine health conditions, to just completely reshape and rebuild themselves... idk, It just gives off dystopian vibes. Feels like some _Brave New World_ kinda stuff.
    I'm all for allowing freedom to chose, but I think it's something that society shouldn't openly condone or encourage.

    • @Ihelpertricks
      @Ihelpertricks Před 2 měsíci +5

      I think it really depends. The bigger issue imo is that people are getting these surgeries based on what society is telling them is beautiful. Which regularly changes. I think tattoos are dope because they offer individuality and expression. Other things like piercings can be used in a similar way, or even other body mods. But getting some intense surgery because the guy or girl you like is into it, just for that thing to change socially later seems mad unhealthy. Just because some surgeries can be undone doesn't mean you should do them willy nilly

    • @differentbutsimilar7893
      @differentbutsimilar7893 Před 2 měsíci +7

      It does brush against the creepy sort of transhumanism... this whole idea of changing yourself to become an improved specimen, a borrowed facsimile of youth and cultural beauty ideals.
      I mean, I guess there's two sides to it. There's making changes to yourself to express on the outside, what you feel on the inside. Clothes and makeup are really no different. We change our 'base' appearance to something that better matches our inner perspective. But that is to say, I agree with the other commenter that it really most runs afoul when the reason for making the changes is to meet an external standard. That is damaging. I guess the question is, what are you thinking beforehand? Is it, "I'm not looking my best self, what I see in the mirror isn't congruent with how I see myself and so I'm going to explore ways of making those things better meet." ? Or is it more like... "I don't look good enough for other people, nobody could ever like this or that feature."
      I think the latter outlook is pure poison a lot of the time. It's the difference between you personally just not liking your nose, and only wanting to change your nose because you're afraid other people won't like the one you have. With the former, one adjustment probably changes everything for you, you finally have a visage that better matches your spirit. With the latter, no adjustments can ever be enough.

      @warbossgegguz679 Před 2 měsíci +4

      @@Ihelpertricks I mean, like I said I'm not against people having the ability to choose, but it's more I just feel like it's kind of a slippery slope. I mean, the stats in this video kind of demonstrate that: the better the techniques and tech gets, the more people do it. And slowly, what seems absurd and weird becomes normal or even enviable. I'm not like someone who's always aboard the "slippery slope" bandwagon, nor am I into "body positivity" since the latter is being used to justify unhealthy habits more than anything else lately, but when it's treating something as deep as the literal human form in such a disposable manner I do think it's worth being a bit more concerned about.
      And seeing the way tech is advancing and people genuinely trying to make computer neural implants and cosmetic cybernetics real, I think it's something we should try to course-correct before we turn cyberpunk and/or system shock into a reality. I'm EXTREMELY misanthropic but even this is something I would like to be avoided.

      @@Ihelpertricksplastic surgery largely wouldn’t exist outside of reconstruction and breast reductions/implants for mastectomies if it wasn’t for social standards. It’s not just abt trying to be attractive for one person, it’s living in a society in which the common lexicon of beauty tells you to be terrified of aging, and that certain characteristics are (falsely) associated with lower health. The intense beauty industry largely gains from shoving this in our faces, there’s a reason it’s gotten amplified by social media.

Just staring into his computer talking gibberish, every so often talking to chat (mostly talking shit) you could tell he was so high he didn’t know where he was. He was staying in hotel rooms during all this. He would finally stumble over to the hotel bed while still streaming and pass out, most time just half way on the bed.
