I’ve read that when your life flashes before your eyes, what’s happening is you are in a situation where you don’t have a ready response for the danger you’re experiencing, so your mind literally looks through *everything* you’ve ever done in your entire life to figure out some kind of answer.

It's funny, I actually think the biggest reason the Monopoly man with a monocle thing exists because of that scene in the second Ace Ventura movie where Ace meets a snooty couple, the male of which is wearing a tuxedo and a monocle and Ace says "You must be the Monopoly guy." Therefore causing confusion ever since cause the guy does look like him, but he has a monocle.

That Pikachu Mandela effect has always baffled me. I’ve been into Pokémon since I was a kid but never once do I remember the end of his tail being a different color. Same with the Curious George and his tail one. Curious George with a tail just looks cursed

I have an explanation for it, the original sprite the tail has a black horizontal line across the top. Instead of being interpreted as the border of the tail, we interpreted it as part of the tail.
It’s essentially just mass misinterpretation of black and white pixel art from the 90s.

The scariest thing about Deja vu, is that in order for it to exist, all criteria for what you know of that specific Deja vu has to be met.
And, because it has to do with time, that will only happen once in your life. For example, (little story) When I was younger, I had a dream ( I think) that my mother had said specific words that I never heard her say before. As some of her words were hitting close to what I heard in my dream on that next day, I wanted to say those words as well and I could feel chills running down my spine! Would you believe that I could not speak and I could not do anything to change it even if I wanted to? Because in my dream, I was only listening. When I realized that knowledge, it kinda made me... feel awestruck.

The Magic Mirror on the wall dissonance was caused by Shrek. Because for copyright reasons at the time Farqwad couldn’t say “Magic Mirror on the wall” to watch some 18+. So they changed it to “Mirror Mirror on the wall”. And if you know Shrek, he lives and loves in our subconscious.

The specific Mandela effect that bothered me is the switching of the two Zodiac Sign symbols of Pisces and Cancer
    Cancer's symbol is ♋ which is a rotated 69
while Pisces is ♓ which is 2 forks, but I always remembered it being the opposite, cuz Pisces is represented 2 fish swimming in a ♋ motion, while Cancer is just a crab so the ♓ fork symbol makes sense cuz it looks like a crab

Another point that you started getting into at the end of the video "higher dimensions" is a completely different topic. Our culture hasn't really created the vocabulary yet to establish a difference between timelines/dimensions (alternate simultaneous realities at the same vibration range) as opposed to "higher dimensions" which in some circles are more correctly called "higher densities". Because then we are getting into variations of realities that are different through a completely different parameter, namely the density of matter and its correlating frequency pitch. The following information comes from people returning from NDE:s (Near death experiences), but it is also the same information that comes through telepathic communications with spirits or for that matter aliens (in other words "channeling"): In "higher dimensions" as you call it or higher densities, beings inhabiting them have a higher sense of awareness, in all manners. You have more senses to start with. More colours. Often you have telepathic abilities so that you instantly can connect with other beings and even your environment. You feel them, they feel you. There could be other ways of interacting with your environment, such as what we would call psychic abilities: teleportation, levitation, telekinesis etc. etc. Because of this increased sense of awareness, everyone realizes that hurting one and other hurts yourself. In effect, the higher the density the more benign, compassionate and harmonious it is. At some point we end up in what we would call "heaven". Some circles would call this the 5th density. We are living in the 3rd density. This is all "New Age" stuff, but the more you study spirituality, the more you see how all roads ends up just there.

The parallel worlds theory that Garnt says is not actually widely supported anymore, it's called Everett or many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. The interpretation that we actually use is the Copenhagen interpretation, which states that the wavefunction is probabilistic.

Copenhagen interpretation came much earlier and has always been the mainstream interpretation, many-worlds interpretation is proposed as an alternative as Everett was dissatisfied with Copenhagen. MWI has never been widely supported, just one of the strongest competitors to Copenhagen.

Whenever we've thought that we had a special place in the universe, it's always turned out to not be the case.
The sun did not revolve around the Earth. Our sun was not the center of the universe. We're not even located anywhere special in our own galaxy and our own galaxy is one of many and is itself not that special. There are other planets and moons with water. We're far from even being the only habitable planet in our galaxy.
Yet somehow, we live in this one special universe that just so happens to have every variable dialed in to let life be possible and there's only supposed to be one of them. I'm with Garnt on this one in thinking there most likely are other universes just from a philosophical point of view.
Now if you want to go into mind bendy science theories about it, the one I like is that our universe was or is on the other side of another universe's black hole which neatly answers "what was there before the Big Bang?" and "how did something come out of nothing?" questions. Other black holes birth other universes ad infinitum until every variation of a universe is born. There's no way to directly verify this but maybe we can indirectly verify aspects of it one day.
If you want even more mind f**kery, our universe is just somebody's computer simulation and the Mandela effect and people remembering different things about the Berenstain Bears and the Monopoly man are the effects of computer glitches similar to bit rot on hard drives lol

Everything in quantum physics is based on different possibillities and the chances of the possibillities happening.
If we observe something, like trying to measure something, we change what the outcome is going to be. This means that, even if a thing in quantum physics can have two outcomes, we only see one outcome, because we affected what the result was going to be.
This is why everything is weird and difficult to understand in quantum physics. You brought up an example of this, being Schrödinger’s cat. The cat has two possibillities, either being dead or alive. Because of us observing, we will see just one outcome, but in reality the cat is both dead and alive.

I honestly did start believing in the Mandela effect though when my friends would remember things differently from me, like not completely differently but just little details I was so certain of. And streets as well, I'll like walk down a street I have always walked down and suddenly all the details would be different to me in an uncanny eerie way and I would wonder if the street somehow got swapped out or if I just didn't remember the street as well as I thought I did. Something fucky is afoot and I'm not quite sure what it is or if it is even worth worrying about. • @otaku_trash1491
    @otaku_trash1491 Před 7 měsíci

Maybe it’s due to my paranoia and overthinking but I also slightly believe that sometimes I have daydreams of what is happening to me/going to happen in a parallel universe. For example- I’ll be in the car and my mom or my friend will be driving (to preface this I live in America but there isn’t any gun violence of any kind in my town) and I will get a daydream but it’s almost like.. if I’m seeing a memory or something that plays out almost like I’m watching a clip from a movie.. and I’ll see my friend/mom/who ever is driving get shot in the head through the windshield. Or I’ll there’s times were my cat will be eating and I’ll “daydream” that she starts choking and dies or I’ll see that she starts acting very odd and again.. dies- a lot of these things I see are correlated to death and I see these things SO beyond vividly- my dreams when I sleep are also what I believe are considered lucid dreams where I control everything and create whatever I want to create and the scenarios in them genuinely feel real.. so real that when I woke up after a dream I got killed in I woke up in a panic and even after I was awake I felt the pain of my “death”. But back to what this is actually about- I really do sometimes believe I’m seeing things that are happening in an alternate reality and they feel so real but when I snap back to reality my heart is racing bc what happens usually is terrible and I just think “woah that was freaky. Hope that doesn’t actually happen”. My other “theory” is that by thinking of the worst thing that can happen before it actually happens I’m therefore preventing that event from happening in the future. I do have a lot that have absolutely nothing to do with death like ones where kids are running and they bump into strangers and they get scolded or something but a lot of them are still scary nonetheless 😭💔

Monopoly is easily explainable. It's cuz another mascot has a top hat monical and a cane that being the mascot of the planters nuts snack. The peanut guy has a monical and is similar looking to the Monopoly man which is why everyone thinks that Monopoly man has one but they are just confusing with the peanut mascot.

Both are right when you argue if Vader said "No" or "Luke." It is different depending on the version.

I’m usually not super tinfoil hat, but after listening this clip- and realizing these are mostly American-based I’m suddenly sure there was some small scale technology that accomplished a mindwash/resetting memories that didn’t get tested on everyone. (Like there’s a control group who remembers the real version, and then some who had memories of the alternate version.)
Or, alternatively, some companies did very very small prints of the “other version” of their logo to use this mandela effect to their benefit. (Like suddenly you need to check if your bologna is Oscar Meyer or Oscar Mayer… but 2023 probably only has one print version).

The Star Wars one is the most trivial to explain. Nobody who quotes or parodies that scene is going to say "No, I am your father". They say "Luke, I am your father" so that people recognize it as a quote from a fictional work and get the reference. If they said "No, I am your father," practically nobody would recognize it.
And since people have been quoting that scene like crazy, everybody remembers the quotes and not the original, because we hear the quotes more than the original.

Who knew that Connor is the least spiritual and most resistant to bullshit... there are no parallel universes, it's just something that lots of people are able to talk out of their asses about because it's not provable or disprovable.
