If the brisket needs sauce, that's bad brisket.
Nigiri sushi is actually Japanese
Japanese salmon is not used for sushi. It has a lot of parasites so its always cooked. The raw salmon you get is actually typically imported from Norway. Salmon nigiri is more of a Western thing but its picking up in Japan
Personally, i prefer my salmon in general cooked and I think raw fatty tuna is the better one for sushi
"Lasanga is just improved pizza"
Im sorry...
WHAT???
That's like saying a burrito is the better taco
It's because Garnt doesn't like PIzza Crust.
First of all, Lasagna is closer to a casserole. Second, spaghetti not only has the ability to add many different extra ingredients, but also keeps you from cooking for like a week. It is the budget savior 💀
As a Texan, aside from the lasagna bit, this clip feels like a win
If your brisket needs sauce, you're eating bad brisket
Lasagne is pasta casserole
It’s a common misconception that American chickens are pumped full of hormones to get to their size. That’s been illegal since the 50s. Broiler chickens, as they are called, are fed high protein diets constantly to grow fast and large.
16:08 I like the smaller portion of most SEA instant noodles. 85 grams of Indomie Goreng is perfect for me, as I can add other things like eggs, sausages, rice without it being too much. Korean noodles usually are above 100 grams up to 150 grams, and once I add other sides its just too much.
1:58, Garnt Was so quick With that "When?!" Had me a chuckle. Mr Bone man lol
In Canada we have our own Smoked meat as well! Our signature smoked meat dish is Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwiches! If you guys are ever in Canada feel free to try it ^^
As an Italian Garnt took an L saying lasagna is the best pasta
I think a properly done Northern style lasagne could do it. But in general lasagne is far from the best
Its definitely top 3
Which pasta is the best then?
@@CheekyHaggis gnocchi imo or a classic carbonara
@@CheekyHaggis There's hundreds of pasta dishes so it's impossible to know for sure
Mama noodles are probably the most bought brand here in Finland. Some of the flavors even have jumbo packs. The jumbo packs are the best.
I love BBQ brisket. BUT I can see where the boys are coming from. Brisket is delicious but needs fat, otherwise it can easily become dry and tough. So Texas brisket can often be quite rich and a lot to take in. If the boys are ever in Texas again, they can maybe eat a brisket sandwich instead. Put the fatty brisket in between white bread with a MODERATE amount of pickles, onions, slaw, and/or sauce. The extra stuff should help balance out the fattiness without overshadowing the brisket too much.
P.S. As a Korean American, I loved seeing Shin ramen on Garnt's 3x3 lol
Yeah, I love a good fatty brisket point, but can totally understand it's a lot. They probably prefer leaner meat.
They can request the lean cut of brisket, the fatty cuts are the most popular anyways, also the sandwich thing is a good idea, that's what I do with a portion of my brisket.
On another note, I feel like their dislike of spaghetti comes from the non-Italian versions, every dish that uses spaghetti usually the sauce is coating the pasta pretty thickly, unless it's a type of dish where the sauce is meant to be thin. So in the American style the sauce is quite thick and just spooned on top of the pasta, but I see in Italy they would usually mix the spaghetti into the sauce to coat everything
@@prodigypennYessss, exactly. They kept talking about spaghetti bolognese but they seemed to be thinking about the globalized version. The traditional Italian bolognese is quite different and they actually frown upon using spaghetti for it. They usually go with tagliatelle, pappardelle, rigatoni, penne, etc. And like you said, the Italians are probably cooking the pasta in the sauce a little. Rather than just ladling it on top.
Pro tip: If you want to know if your sushi is authentic (eaten in Japan) look at the menu. The Japanese sushi will have Japanese names and the American sushi will have English names (Dynamite, California, Philadelphia, Dragon ect.)
I thought this was obvious tho
food is always evolving
Nah, gnocci is without a doubt the best pasta dish.
My top in no particular order
1- gnocci
2-margaritta pizza
3-cauliflower wings with a spicy sauce
4- boston cream cake
5-andy capps hot fries
6-insant ramen
7- a good tofu curry
8- this ones more a topping thing but this place i like to go has this shug sauce (not entirely sure how to spell it) but basically its pesto but made with jalapeno instead of cilantro
9-hashbrowns, shreded topped with onions and pepper gravy. So good
never thought that my favorite podcast will mention Indomie. trying to supress my overproud indonesian self here
I come to prefer noodles thicker than regular spagetti. Fettuccine or linguine are my go to most often. Also prefer 100% chickpea compositioned noodles if i get the choice.

Only bad dry Brisket needs BBQ sauce
Well its called trash taste for a reason ig
and the british one has the worst of all them
Get these men some Carolina or Alabama bbq
Naws that cap. Brisket doesnt need sauce. American bbq doesnt need sauce. They'll often served it on the side, but not drench. It already has all that flavour from the rub or marinade coupled with a long smoking process its full of flavor. The more I watch the more I feel that Connor is an anime villain
Angel hair is infinitely better than spaghetti
Korean Chicken is awesome. Best in the world.
find this even more funny bc of the ongoing situation with the salmon here in Norway rn…
What’s happened?
@@anika666 ok this is just a few instances so this is not a huge issue, but the salmon businesses here are regulating themselves, and most salmon breeding businesses are doing a well job at keeping the salmon healthy and safe for consuming. but there are a few companies that have let ill salmon continue to be sick and not gotten rid of it (like they should do when the salmon is sick and not safe), and there was also an instance of selling already dead sick salmon for consuming… sooo … there are discussion about laws and regulations these salmon companies have to follow…
this is just what i’ve gathered from the news, but hope this answers!
alternate name of KFC is Korean Fried Chicken
Yeah, BBQ in america is great, but it's hit or miss. It's best to cook yourself when you can.
Connor is getting too bald
Salmon is great on the west coast. I don't get why it's terrible in Japan.
Different species
Is it still Japanese if the owner is Japanese and it's not a glorified "WOW JAPAND BATCHEST" even though its in the UK? because if so my favourite sushi is the "Dream roll" at Shiki in Norwich England. Prawn Tempura Futomaki deep-fried (minimal batter) with sweet chili and mayo on the top. SO GOOD on a cold winter night, just sweet filling goodness. I know its not made for a traditionally japanese pallet, but i dont care it tastes amazing. Every time I go, I say I'll get something else, but I never do.
It's Western style sushi. But it doesn't matter if it's Japanese or not if you like it
Spaghetti is ok, but yeah, other types/shapes are better. Penne is my go to.
From Texas 🫡🫡
Tip: watch on 1.5 speed
Lasagna can never be good it can only be acceptable
Bone in is superior
It seems to me that the Boys need to do an urgent trip to Italy to learn about proper Italian cuisine, because their references sound extremely off. Like, gnocchi are bougee now? Come on mate, they're basically bite sized potato dumplings and are totally peasant food.
Most brisket bbq is wack honestly. And im a life long texan. Theyre usually tasteless and dry even at popular places. Overpriced for a cheap cut of meat.
Brisket is great but america sucks at brisket. They make the same tasteless overcooked issue with roast beef thats often brisket.
Have you never had good brisket from Hill Country or DFW? My god I’ve had some damn good bbq in north and central TX 🤤
Indomie > Mie Sedaap
Wings are mid
Spaghetti is just a type of noodle & simply just a peasant dish that you eat to fill you. Like polenta, or bread. The sauce depends on the person, it can be god tier with grandma's sauce, or sh*t tier from the supermarket. Freshly made noodles are delicious, & are often just enjoyed with olive oil. Marinara was meant to go with sausage, or bread, or pasta... or pizza. Honestly it goes with everything, & home made spaghetti is somewhat difficult to do (the thinner it is, the more manufactured it looks imo). I think you need to leave the restaurants behind and go to the countryside with an Italian grandma who doesn't speak English- she'll give you a dish that will knock your socks off.
Lasagna is bottom tier pasta dish. Way too much effort for what it is.
Of course a bunch of jojo fans love smoked meat
The way they pronounce pasta will always be disturbing to me
how do you pronounce it?
@@IDK_0402 paa - stah
why are these degens calling lasagna pasta?!1?!
because it is.
