    Every time I see a new chateau rennovation channel come up, I say I can't subscribe to another! (I am following so many journeys already). But then...I can't resist - each one is similar but unique in so many ways and has its own story. So...here I am and I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your chateau! Off we go!

    Would love to hear your back story. What made you decide to purchase a chateau? What backgrounds do you have and what is the connection between the three of you? I highly suggest that you reach out to the family from Chateau de Lalacelle. They’re awesome people and are a year ahead of you as far as being in France from the UK. I can only imagine that they would be happy to help with finding the materials needed to use. All the best!

      How do you know they didn't?
      The place you will pick up french the fastest, is by having boots on the ground.
      You can try learning on all the apps, but the biggest leap in gaining the language is by being immersed and interacting with people in the language you are wanting to be fluent in.
      Why be so negative?

  • @tinaclarke704
    @tinaclarke704 Před 2 lety +1

    Are you doing tiktok as well? You can use snips from the main video so not much extra work. You don't say, who the owners are, what led you to doing this? What the budget is, how much the castle/chateau? Cost? Have you got in touch with other You Tubers that own a chateau near you? Also contact the popular chateau owners on CZcams like Stephanie at Chateau Dairies. Micheal at Doing it ourselves and Billy at the pethrick's who will tell you about everyone else and give you so many tips to help. See if you can hire someone that speaks french and English that will also do another job...look at workaways like the other channels use...and think about a patron account. Watch the wind, its a problem sometimes with the mics. Encourage people to like comment subscribe etc. If you have a talent that can do something for another chateau who have a large following ...for instance one chateau one of the guys can do upholstery so he made a beautiful chair for Stephanie of Chateau Dairies who has one of the largest channels and she filled him bringing it (five hour drive) and talked about his chateau channel and put it in the description...that gave them a huge boost in subscribers etc. Part of all this is the personality of the owners and also that they don't ramble too much and speak clearly it all plays a part...also their knowledge they impart. I look forward to learning more. Are you doing a scheduled vlog? Certain days of the week, weekly daily or fortnightly etc? What's the score there? Consider doing a Q and A when you are few more video's along so we can learn more. Good luck.
