    In a moment of weakness, I almost moved back to America again to practice BJJ but then the heavy hand of racism once again hit me in the face, and I once again remembered why I left that hell hole and will never return.

    I bought a house and I want to pay it off, rent it and buy an apartment in another country. I already have 10 years working in USA so I have my social security set up. I'm planning to live off the rent from the house in USA and open my business in the new country. That's my plan.

    i do not have any family or anyone to leave my photos and keep sake 5 boxes with and i do not want to pay for storage in USA, what to do. for digital nomad visa i need to show this income from youtube and such resources or can it be money in my bank? how to check on safety as a solo female from USA when researching where i want to live ? you said you keep cash for flights from Lebonon how safe is that? also natural disaster areas safety how do find out about this?

      @WhereisMalikah  Před 3 měsíci

      all good questions! I think if it's important to keep your stuff and you don't have anyone at home to store it, you're going to have to pay for storage or a safety deposit box if the stuff will fit. Most nomad visa countries will accept either proof of income or proof of a certain amount of savings so you can just show bank statements. I only kept cash on hand in Lebanon because the banking system had collapsed, and credit cards were not widely accepted

      you will probably need to get some kind of insurance that works in the country you live! and yes, retirement income counts as income for a residency visa!

    Why is so easy for a American to move abroad but it's so difficult to immigrate to USA? As European, many Americans move here easily but if I want to move there I am blocked. It's a genuine question.

    • @WhereisMalikah
      @WhereisMalikah  Před 3 měsíci

      Good question! I think its way easier for EU citizens to move abroad than Americans especially within the EU. But each country determines it's immigration policy and the US is known to be one of the more challenging places, since our visa programs are very quota based there tends to be very long wait lists and not many employers willing to go through the sponsorship process

    • @nokturnna83
      @nokturnna83 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @WhereisMalikah yeah, it's easy to move within EU but I definitely don't want to immigrate with EU. I always had the American Dream. I understand the quota but should be reciprocal specially towards EU Citizens. Well, not your fault of course. You can't control the visa program within your country. Lol

    • @WhereisMalikah
      @WhereisMalikah  Před 3 měsíci

      @@nokturnna83 totally get it! I think it's also hard for Americans to move to EU as well, you pretty much only can legally if you already have a job

      @user-dr1ct5uy8c Před 22 dny +1

      @@nokturnna83 As an EU citizen you have universal health care, therefore, you don't have to worry about that aspect. But I imagine you want to leave because of the tax scheme. I've heard the taxes are horrendous.

    • @nokturnna83
      @nokturnna83 Před 22 dny +1

      @user-dr1ct5uy8c not sure how are taxes in USA but here i pay 40% of my income. I would love to move because i love the vibe. People are patriotic, families and neighbours look very close to each other. I never thought about NYC or LAX or the big cities. I love places like Nashville and smaller towns near by. :))
