Thank you so much Jesse, I needed this.
I'm in university now, living in a pretty small room, and the sports center where I train only has one lesson a week.
I've always wanted to train regularly on my own, I just wasn't sure how, and whether it was possible in such a small, tight space.
I will definitely try this out. Oss.

Excellent tutorial Sensei Jesse. The interesting thing here is that I also do some of these exercises on my own initiative, as if we had already agreed before. I focus on slow-motion kicks at the edge of the bed to force the knees up. What I add in those exercises are weights for the feet so the muscles work harder. Of course I also do them only in slow motion because it is detrimental to the meniscus kicking normally with the weights. But equally without them is an excellent exercise. Congratulations for your great contributions to Karate-Do.

Just yesterday i was cooking at home after practising at our dojo.
I started to do kata while guarding my food not to burn.
I took only about 20 centimeter steps and i focused on hand moves, and head and upper body turns..trying to memorize them. I guess every little bit helps 😄 and it took about 1squaremeter space to do that.
After that i wondered does Jesse have some tips for small space practising..now I know he/you does 👍💪

I'm not really a karate practitioner and I'm actually training muaythai -although I'm about to try tang soo do-, but when you practice the hook kick at the corner, you create the hook kick with your front feet? I mean I'm not really that flexible so perhaps I'm the one who can't utilize the hook kick with the dominant leg. Btw, I like your videos about karate! I'm inspired to try some, even though I haven't found a good place to train yet :)
