Jesse Enkamp I cant do the "kime"... is there anything wrong with my dress...??? because I have done everything... only got a dull sound like "fuss"...
Man, your low kick is my high kick 😂😂😂
I use this workout every time I travel. It's awesome!
Thank you so much Jesse, I needed this.
I'm in university now, living in a pretty small room, and the sports center where I train only has one lesson a week.
I've always wanted to train regularly on my own, I just wasn't sure how, and whether it was possible in such a small, tight space.
I will definitely try this out. Oss.
When you are a real karate nerd.. You even train in your bedroom !!!
That home training is soo good Sensei! I really enjoyed doing this exercises and they really helped me with kihon, kata and kumite! I am winning the next competition for you! Oss!
I'm always practice this exercises! It's awesome!
the best about this...is that there is no excuse... not even a small place felicitaciones CAPO!
These are brilliant, Sensei Jesse! I have a housemate so when the weather is super miserable outside, and I itch to train, I try to do it at home but I'm always on my housemate's way... now I can do it in my room! ☺️
Boom! Awesome to hear - happy training! :-)
Fantastic video! You had so many great ideas all of which I can incorporate into my day to day life due to the nature of my job. I was recently thinking of different exercises for tight spaces so you just made my day.
Jesse-San... this is brilliant! I'm on the road for business and this is just what I needed. You are truly amazing!

Back in Hong Kong on business and doing this workout this morning! One of my favorite ways to stay in shape when I'm away from the dojo! BTW - Can't wait to see and hear all about your travels in Okinawa and the new series! Safe travels Jesse-San.
Thank's for knowledge. The training is perfect for travels and don't stop Seishin Gi.
Excellent training ideas, Jesse! We appreciate you working up a sweat for us! :D Nice way to do karate when cramped up in a tiny room. Please keep up the sharing of great training tips like these with your videos! Osu!

I’m in Vegas rn, and I enjoyed this video. It was really helpful thanks
I think this is your best video yet in a lot of ways, Jesse. Extremely creative! And a really fantastic illustration of Funakoshi's 6th precept: "6. Always be ready to release your mind." Keep up the good work, fellow Karate-Nerd! haha :)
Most excellent
Amazing video!! Always love your videos.
Ryan Webb Karate Thank you! Means a lot 🙏
Excellent video Jesse, great excersices!!💪👍
Appreciate it!
Wow, fantastic.. 👏
I-leg bed punch is my favorite! Love youuuu
Excellent tutorial Sensei Jesse. The interesting thing here is that I also do some of these exercises on my own initiative, as if we had already agreed before. I focus on slow-motion kicks at the edge of the bed to force the knees up. What I add in those exercises are weights for the feet so the muscles work harder. Of course I also do them only in slow motion because it is detrimental to the meniscus kicking normally with the weights. But equally without them is an excellent exercise. Congratulations for your great contributions to Karate-Do.
AWESOME
Looks great 👌🏻 thanks
Sensei superb 👌
Wow, perfect timing for this video. I'm traveling to the US after a few days!
Arkanin5 Safe travels! ✈️
I usually break up my kata into really small segments and practice at the small hallway at the door lol
So do I.
Thank you alot for this, i don't have a big home, so i usually do just blocks and punches in the mirror, but this will help tons thank you :)
Very nice trick
Wow this is bad ass.I will start doing more Karate as part of my exercises routine, especially the ones intended for higher mobility and flexibility. Thanks.
Thanks sensei
I reccomend sanchin kata.(no need room for that)
I definitley try this bed-leg-kick.
Thank you for an awesome video. :D
Very nice video as always. Some exercises are looking so easy, but are so hard to do. The one with the towel I was also told to do in my physiotherapy. Very helpfull👌 Thank you, Jesse!
Binilini You are right! Simple exercises are not always easy :) Thanks for chiming in! 🌟

Danke! :-)
immer wieder gerne ;) OSSSSS
Just yesterday i was cooking at home after practising at our dojo.
I started to do kata while guarding my food not to burn.
I took only about 20 centimeter steps and i focused on hand moves, and head and upper body turns..trying to memorize them. I guess every little bit helps 😄 and it took about 1squaremeter space to do that.
After that i wondered does Jesse have some tips for small space practising..now I know he/you does 👍💪
Muito bom esse treino. OSS
Osu! Sensei, this video is very useful! Thank you!
Taking notes for office workouts, thanks Jesse! ^^

The side wall punches are perfect I have been trying to get my student to keep the elbows down. That have already do a type martial arts. Retraining bad habits. I make the punch like a rock em sockem bots. Then I teach the twist. That is a fantastic drill for after I teach them it.

Cool stuff ! The bed punch would be a good way to practice your chinto kata. You could also punch or block in front of a mirror working your technique 🙂
Man man man, I just became your fan, I just do the same but I am not as professional as you are..but your video inspires me now to train more hard, by the way iam 54
When I was a kid I used to practice my bo katas at home with a pencil cuz there wasn't enough room! Even used pencils to simulate other weapons as well!
So should we do each exercise 10 rep 10set ?
Damn, I literally came back from vacations yesterday from the beach, this would have been perfect. Although I practiced a lot of Kata in the beach, old school style
Fernando Sosa Beach over hotel room any day! 🌴🌴🌴
Thank you 🤗 just had some one laugh at me because I said I work out like this at home or outside during this virus LoL 🙏
Always watch your videos... Love them. My question is how can I train my toes to curl back when try to use the balls of my foot? I find it difficult to bend my tore backward because of habit poor technique. If you can do a video for that it would be so helpful and awesome.
RAzOne3 The neuromuscular connection between toes and brain is notoriously difficult. The key lies in daily, deliberate practice.
Very Useful Mr. Enkamp!!! Empirically, I did some of these sometimes!! But the real trouble is with the Katas training and with the "Kiaiiii" at the midnigt :)...
José Lamparelli Haha the kiai is always "appreciated" at hotels, especially at night! 😜
❤️
what kind of karate did you practice?
Muito legal , queria poder entender o inglês kkkk
Holis q bonito ss😍
teach me how to warm up in karate
I have no dojo and my house don't have space for practice martial art so this video is really help me,
BTW where do you get those Ideas?
donoteatmymeal Wow Awesome! 👍 When you've been learning, practicing and teaching Karate your whole life, ideas are not a problem. I have many more 😊
I like the shoes
Some cool exercises there I'll definitely start trying them before bed :-) I just wish I had the guts to do something like that in public lol, there's no way I could try this in an airport. I'm too self conscious lol. Thanks for the tips :-)
Same here! That's why I hide in my hotel room ;-) Good luck!
I usually practice my Kata and kihon kicks in my small room lol. I'm a brown belt in shito Ryu karate do
If you take the train then there is a good chance of finding a James Bond villian in your compartment to spar with.
Haha, I love these red and green socks! You are/were in Leipzig, right? I'd love to see you at a competition once, but I had school during this one. Well, one day...
Btw, how well can you speak Japanese? You said you lived in Okinawa for some time, so I wondered
Gra130503 Watch my previous video about how to write "KARATE" in Japanese to learn more 😄👍
step 0: Put the Do Not Disturb sign outside your door! You and the Housekeeper will be glad you did!
Which belt are you
green
can ankle weights make our kicks faster?
Benedict Angelo They "can" but it's not a great idea (the resistance vector is not 100%). Plyometrics are generally better
why are your socks different in colors?
Haha. I do these things (most) in my room as I don't have space in here my house.
What is a hook kick called in Japanese ?
Sonup Rimal Ura-mawashi geri
Jesse Enkamp . Thanks. Was looking for it for quite some time.
What about inner roundhouse kick ?
Gyaku-mawashi geri
Jesse Enkamp great.
Thanks so much.
Great vid, and remember everyone it is super improtant to not kick the T.V. lol
Bryce Keeney Could become an expensive kick! 😜👊
Michael Saunders Oops! 😜
I'm confused with the corner hook kick :O
Anita Djie How come?
I'm not really a karate practitioner and I'm actually training muaythai -although I'm about to try tang soo do-, but when you practice the hook kick at the corner, you create the hook kick with your front feet? I mean I'm not really that flexible so perhaps I'm the one who can't utilize the hook kick with the dominant leg. Btw, I like your videos about karate! I'm inspired to try some, even though I haven't found a good place to train yet :)
My way is to do katas without stepping forward, just switching feet. Of course this doesnt work with katas like kanku dai.
the moment when you do the front kick in back bridge and the cleaning woman comes in
🤭
why a one red sock and one green?
Lee Guitar Because they were at the top of my sock drawer that morning
Nice socks
