Hey guys! Back with another Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel countdown video and today, I wanted to go over a 10 of what I think are the best Guns and Weapons for Claptrap in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! For the uninitiated, Claptrap tends to excel with Explosive weapons from a variety of manufacturers, however I think you'll find that many of the best weapons for Claptrap come from Tediore or Torgue!

Claptrap being playable is the best plus his skills for explosive, teamwork, and Vault Hunter exe is reliable.

Flakker should have made that list. Also a side note. The blue audacious sapper mod. +6 to one last thing. 880% damage increase to your last shot.
Is purple Aud. Sapper better?
You can’t get +6 to one last thing with the purple mod. The blue one is the only one that does that. The purple only does +5 to one last thing.

@@evancedeno3872 yeah, in 2 and TPS, blues can add +6 to one and +5 to another, while the others boost up to +5 each (higher rarities boost more skills

With all the maniacal laughter stacks it generates and killbot proc'd, Fragtrap becomes nigh indestructible.

I found that the ZX-1 is great with Maniacal Laughter, at least in an oxygen environment. It shoots so quickly that it builds stacks of ML really fast, which means lots of HP regeneration.

Kerbooms grenades try to seek enemies in the pre sequel. That's why the red text says torgue got smarter. So it's a little different than the kerblaster.

Jam packed quick shot with scav grip and a lunshine that increase grenade damage and purple rarity would be a beast!
The flakker can be op on claptrap with his One Last Thing skill and a sapper class mod (more one last thing not rq) you can get tons of damage

The best weapons for claptrap are:
Fridgia
Too Scoops
Casual Ravager/Flakker (depending on preference)
Omni-Cannon/Cryo Wet Week
Fragnum/Hard Slapper
IVF
Tediore Splitters in elements like Cryo
Also, any generally strong elemental weapon such as the vibra pulse gets a lot out of coincidental combustion and maniacal laughter.
The Too Scoops and Fridgia are top tier for Claptrap and you can run entire maps with either of those weapons, without swapping at any point. Of course you can also use any tediore weapon with claptrap and do crazy things, but that's kind of a given.

An explosive claptrap is amazing
Luck Cannon should have made this list. As a "non-elemental" weapon, it can Coincidental Combustion, and both the skill's and ability's explosions are increased by Load 'n' Splode. It further synergizes with One Last Thing (though reduced due to single-shot mag size) and Drop the Hammer. Claptrap also has COMs that increase pistol damage.
Some other notable weapons include Jack-o'-Cannon, Moonface, Hail, and anything with high elemental chance or many pellets. You're vastly overrating Tediore weapons and ignoring synergies other than explosions.

Fridgia over Fatale? Both have high Cryo chances, and the Fatale is a legendary Hyperion SMG that achieves max accuracy as fast if not faster than the Bitch in BL2. Plus it's possible to get Luneshine on a grinder Fatale while the Fridgia can't with it being a unique quest reward.

Am I the only one who runs fire rate and reload speed claptrap?i get the classmods that increase fr and reload and then an oz kit that increase fr and reload speed while in the air.i can just pump so much damage in a boss it’s absurd and if I get the gunzerk skill it’s almost always guna end the fight in less than 5 secs

Puma, just a helpful piece of advice, I'm pretty sure the nukem CANNOT spawn on normal vault hunter mode, (First playthrough). I've farmed it for almost 10 hours on a brand new claptrap and no nukem the entire time. Just thought I'd mention that. :) Don't want anyone else making my mistake.
It can drop on normal mode just not very often at all.

I liked using the Flakker with Clap Trap against the Empyrean Sentinel, cause its head is so big the gun wreaks its life. besides that, the flakker sucks, in my opinion. Do Aurelia next, I'm struggling to kill the raid boss on true vault hunter.
