Man, I remember getting into Borderlands as an adult in my early 20s and there was this lil' kid doing Borderlands content on CZcams and I thought, *_Huh, that's cool. I hope you make it kid."_* ...and now you're the 🔥 🚀 ☝️ 🐐 👑 and I'm gonna be 40 this year. Good job, Joltzdude.
I feel like Jack is the best designed character in all of borderlands.
The heart of Borderlands lies in the guns that you can collect.
While every character has preferences in weapons a lot of them have also guns that they have little to no synergy with, many even have skills that mechanically goes against how many guns work.
But Jack can make every weapon not just viable but make the most out of them. There is no bad gun choice with him unlike everyone else.

See, to me, THIS is why Jack is the strongest legit character in the presequel. Nisha is broken, sure, but all that damage DRAINS ammo. Jack can put our just as much damage and barely use ammo at all~ And money is power just makes this stupid😅
Jack was what Zane became
the best character that can't duel wield. I'm looking forward to BL3, zane can't duel wield but he has a perk where his clone can use the same gun as him which could be insane.
He’s also the only character in the whole series who can use two action skills, he just has to give up grenades.

Billy Boleson bro there’s so many people who say Zane doesn’t do shit end game but as soon as you get the anointed on your light show that says 130% weapon damage after swapping with your clone, I get 3 million dmg per shot with my clone
@@Deeeeeestroy If you're running clone get firerate/reload increase skills while also giving him a high damage weapon. Your clone gets mayhem 10 scaling so he's doing much more than you would without annointments. But in all reality since the MNTIS cannon was released it's become meta so running high firerate weapons with 100% ASE melts anything mayhem 10 or 11 whichever you prefer
@@TerriblyIronic9 yea since then I got Icebreaker, version 0.m, seeing dead with splash damage, 25% action it’s piss (or transfusion), all cryo guns sandhawk (20k dmg) and a lightshow all with sntnl cryo annoint, I never die and my clone one shots everything (the shield gives your clown it’s own circle, a +50% damage buff)
All the builds are nice but I had no clue that grenade damage would drop bosses that fast. Thats insane!

If you didn't know when you are Athena or I'm pretty sure anyone else, you can get really easy stacks by shooting at Dean in the side mission Hot Head.
Laser Disker is absolutely insane. Was my second wind gun for so so long. Had a 33 one all the way into UVHM for my jack

Jack isn't as broken as Nisha but he gets pretty close he is easily my personal favorite character in tps just cause of how much his tree and skills overlap

do not spend a point into On My Mark. if using a Singularity, you're more likely wanting to throw it towards an enemy, not on them, so On My Mark is useless. if throwing it at an enemy, you have to have the enemy in your cross hairs for it to work, and also is a once off per Expendable Assets. Jack's Cache is all you really need as getting 4 kills is a very easy task, and isnt a once off thing, and isnt hard to predict

So many channel’s builds of whichever character, series-wide, seem the same. Fast fire rate and reloads, with a weapon or two that are ridiculously broken. They all are mostly similarly played. The builds are like complex solutions to harness the game’s mathematical algorithms. But the gameplay is generally cookie cutter and samey.
And if the build is an alternate, like melee Athena or Brick, the majority of gameplay is a loop of repetition.
Of course I’ll be proven wrong. Like, I’m enjoying the heck out of Wilhelm in the vacuums if TPS. All the sub optimal skills are super fun. But when I read the supposed best Wilhelm player’s build, it was all the samey fire rate, reload and crit boosters skills, mathematically tuned to boss shredding in a flash. Point, shoot, profit. Whereas I’m all in on meteor slam, spreading DoTs with Hazmat Containment Suit and proccing Cold War, and delivering a KO punch with power fist or a Kinetic Armor blast. Or just enjoying some Vengeance Cannon. All said to be weak skills.
But when I see the final boss shredded in 30 seconds, I’m sad it’s so easy. It doesn’t look fun to do. Maybe to build. But the vast majority of build videos all wreck face, and I can’t really tell the characters apart.
Frankly, I want more variety of ways to play BL. For now, I’m actually having a blast with my sub optimal Wilhelm.

You should've done the Nova build... you can do it together with the running build... so can walk very fast, and kill everything you path... is so cool...

So you throw the grenade when you are low ammo in order to auto reload the gun so you don't lose yellow glitch?

I actually do prefer +6 Company man and +5 Absolute Advantage on my Projection COM, I think the Best Foot Forward isn’t really needed.

2 questions... why not 1pt in diveresify? is it worse than wrist lasers?
and second, since you maxed out take their freedom, why not put the 5pts from teamwork and put it into optimism. the jacks would die faster and explode, add more kill skill stacks, and you do more damage to gain more health that way.
Why did you pick Marginal Benifit over synergy on the CEO COM? Just curious.

Marginal benefits or jack's cache. Idr which one, but it messes up the bomber oz kit bonus, so you won't get the free grenade chance

hi, i got a question. may i know why the first time when i used your save, every gun can shoot burst and there is a high chance not to consume ammo. however, the second time i used your save, the burst disappeared and guns consume ammo like normal. i did not change anything of the save.
It might be because of the glitch on the weapon, some weapons have glitch effects which will randomise a modifier on your gun
Redemption no. I was using logans gun and badaboom. It happened. Really strange. But works well on the second load. Actually 6 shot burst feels powerful.

Isn't crit prefix better for the development shotguns? Higher accuracy and higher potential and realistic damage
No, the vertical grip prefix will always be the best for shotguns, it can make a shotgun with a terrible grip and stock, actually viable
@@thatoneguy5884 that's just wrong. On a quad crit is always better. Vertical grip is just a flat 2 pallets more, on a quad that's barely 10% more potential damage. And in reality, unless you stuff your barrel down the enemies face, you will not hit all pallets anyway. So higher accuarcy and crit will result in higher actual damage when playing the game

Claptrap explosive build and jack Absolute Advantage build. When you get to the level 20 to 30, 50 to 70 it gets fun. The first 20 levels is gonna be you farming xp

elemental dot and bonus on correct enemy type does more damage than the 5% extra you get from torgue
