I agree Scotland is amazing especially the west coast. I was hoping to get back up there this year but house works means that is unlikely to happen but I might get a couple of days in the Lakes maybe.
Nothing wrong with the lakes, I did the Hard Knot pass in the seventies before it was crowded, it more like an obstacle course than a road but fantastic nonetheless

@@oldguyinshed1703 Unfortunately the situation between locals and some of the camper van fraternity has become more than a little tense. I work in Scotland a lot around Wick and Thurso and the mess and down right disrespectful behaviour by this minority is going to spoil it for everyone.

When I did it the camper van problem wasn't too bad though it was a good few years ago now

I counted the front and rear sprockets and they are what they are supposed to be as standard
