"Why are they showing their own butts?" Because they did not want to be exploitative of the women. Sure the models were dancing and wearing short party dresses, Daisy Dukes and similar, but their butts were not focused on and the women did not twerk. While they were presenting all these songs about (women's) butts, and sang great doing it, they subverted the whole genre with their video.

Dude with the overalls: Congratulations, you've met Buegs! That is Eric Buegler, one of Rob's (the dude with the serious beard who sang lead for Sir Mixalot) best friends. They did a podcast called the Avid Indoorsmen about their love of movies. He's been in at least one other video, too (I'll let you watch a bunch to figure out which one).

This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.

There's an interview with Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) on y/t wherein he says this was his pet project. In summary, his sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man in the one-shoulder overalls is a friend of Rob Lundquist and is in other videos as well as co-hosting Rob's channel.
