I'm back in Ethiopia for the 3rd time because it's one of my favorite countries in Africa! I am now exploring a city in the North called Gondar, and little did I know that I'd come across thousands of fellow Jews.
As you might know by now, I enjoy connecting with Jewish communities around the world, like I've done in Afghanistan, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Philippines among many others -- but this experience has been the most eye-opening because of how alive the Jewish culture is. Some 4,000 Ethiopian Jews are here, studying torah, keeping Shabbat and learning Hebrew.
If this is not a fascinating story, then I am not sure what is! Join me as I take you inside the world of the forgotten Jewish tribe of Ethiopia.

Once you make a single political statement, you do a great disservice to your work. You end the video simply stating Israel ignores the Ethiopian Jews? Yet somehow, you don't even mention the most incredible airlift of human beings in the modern era. Your work is loved because you elegantly and simply just show us how varied and the same, human across the globe are. If you attempt at giving historical context, it should only be descriptive, such as dates and statistics. Otherwise, a history or political lesson has not place in a single 8 min video.
If you didn't make that last statement, it would have been a perfect video. But you have insidiously, and oh so covertly, possibly flamed even more hate.
Most won't see percieve it as such, that's what makes it all the more dangerous. Subtle, small, and merely a few seconds long. This isn't the first time you selectively choose a random fact about a group of people of country, that distorts. I hope you are not aware, and will understand the potential negative, unintended consequences with the influence you have been so successful at.
I look forward to more content. With success, comes more responsibility, especially since the internet is on an exponential level.

I'm Rwandan and recently found out that my ancestors came from Ethiopia and were Jewish, I am so fascinated and happy cause of how beautiful it is there
I am an Ethiopian last year I met with a Rwandan in usa. I was so surprised that first I thought I met one of my family members back in Ethiopia how he got in usa without my knowledge. They are totally the same. But eventually after a few seconds I realized he wasn't.

Been to Ethiopia in September of 2018. It was the most incredible experience. The food was spicy and savory and the ppl are most beautiful I've ever seen. I will soon visit again.
