- After adding the 30 inch tires I decided to lift the Pioneer. I thought about adding a bracket lift but finally decided on adding spacers. You will need two pieces of 2” schedule 40 and two pieces of 3” schedule 40 steel pipe cut to 3/4” or whatever you decide. It firms the ride a bit but I actually think it rides better now.

Good info.... Thanks!
can you do a video review on your super ATV windshield...and also, of you had done the 1" up front like mentioned at start...there would have been a really big
rake from front to back right correct? would you recommend doing 1" on rear and 3/4" on front?
Adam Austin, I sure will do a review video for you. As far as the lift, let me get some measurements and get back to you. Thanks for watching.
Hey are the measurements id or od
What size spacers ya use up front? Also what size tires an rims?
Sorry for the late reply. I’m running 1” spacers in the front, the wheels are 14x7 with a 6+1 offset and 30x10x14 tires.
So those 3/4” spacers yielded you a couple inches of lift?
Jonathon Raney, roughly 1 3/4” of lift.
Did you adjust your alignment afterwards? Or was there really no need to?
No alignment needed after the lift but I did have to do some alignment work after the a-arms. I’d say the lift affected the camber more than anything.
Russ989 appreciate it man. Really enjoy your videos. I’ve got a pioneer 1000-5 and I ordered a 2” lift .. can u clear 30s with just 2” lift or u think I for sure need aarms too?
jbuchanan96, you will need the front A-arms without a doubt. They are forward arched to help with bigger tires. I ran my 30 with a-arms and no lift but then put the spacer lift on to help in off camber spots when the suspension loads up.
I was wondering does it still ride the same or is it a little bit rougher
It firms it up a bit but still rides good.
It will be stiffer because lifting in this manner is equivalent to a good six clicks or so on an adj. preload shock. Its good uz you stay within the intended travel of the cv joint, but you give up some droop and suppleness
Do I need wheel spacers if I am installing the shock spacer?
I would add spacers anytime you lift a rig. If you go up you should go out.
What tires and rims are those?
Supergrip k-9s on system 3 SB4 bead locks.
What was the size of pipe ?
2” and 3” pipe ?
Robert Pawlak, 2 pieces of 2” and 2 pieces of 3” schedule 40 pipe cut at 3/4”.
Thanks did it make the ride stiffer?
Robert Pawlak, I figured it would but it doesn’t really feel that way to me. If anything, I think it rides better!
What size is the rims and tires?
14x7 wheels and 30x10x14 tires.
@@russ9897 thank you
@@jorgecruz647 you’re welcome.
Is this a Cali model
No, its not.
Do you 30s rub
zachary woody , the 30s scrubbed a little before the lift but after adding the lift it corrected that issue.
